It's Wednesday and no one has mentioned The Walking Dead

Did everyone miss the new episode?

The only thing I took away from it is that Hollywood writers think Georgia farms are stuck in the `50's and don't have heavy equipment (except for an old tractor) to dig graves for ex-people.

And then we have the abused wife who got out of a bad relationship when her husband died in the first season falling for Shane in this last episode and perpetrating the whole abused woman falling for the same type of guy idea.

Stay tuned for them to run off together.

  1. Boooooooooreing. I'm giving it 1 or 2 more episodes and then I'm hitting the eject button if it doesn't pick up. They spent almost a whole hour in angst ridden navel gazing because they shot some zombies...

They're zombies, for crying out loud. That's what they're for.

  2. I was waiting for you to post this thread.

You forgot that bad woman driver cliche. Yeesh, is Lori an idiot, or what? I was amused when she instructed everyone else where to bury them, and then stood around and watched them toil away digging the graves.

As for Shane and Carol, I was surprised she roused up the energy to leave the camper. I've seen store dummies that are less passive than that woman.

I figure any of these characters, except maybe for merle, you could put up with in real life. they're just coming apart at the seams in the Zombie Apocalypse -- which is probably what would happen.

    1. Yeah, I forgot about the one car accident on an abandoned HWY- without make-up or the ability to text.

She'll be the next recipient of the good Drs. mercies as soon as we know she could be in or a miscarriage. Just tune in for the next cliff-hanger.

  3. I blogged on the episode here. I also blogged on a place that might make a good refuge from zombies, if they had the wit to think of it.

  4. I have to wait for it to be released on the net. Sometimes I wait until they have the whole season in teh can. Then I can watch them all back-to-back and not forget all the plot threads.
