Memorial Day
My dad and uncle were in the Air Force during the Korean War.
I had always thought of the Air Force ...War in the Air as kind of sterile and a bit un... perilous.
After seeing this, I'm glad I was a SeaBee and wouldn't be falling five miles and freezing from the inside out because of the temperature as I was dying.

A real tale from the westPac.
Operation Ten-Go was the Japanese response to our invasion of Okinawa. The Japanese air-force was almost defeated by then and their navy was sent to do what they could to stop the invasion.
Yamato was the worlds largest battleship.... without air escort.
