I don't think Hollywood today

Has what it takes to make anything like the Twilight Zone.

They used good writing, made you use your imagination and used new talent- who you still recognize today.

Nope- it would be all Seinfield and edgy and all white guys would be morons...with a laughtrack.


  1. I've heard good things about the brief resurrection of the series in the 80's.

    But yeah, chances are they couldn't do a good job of it today.

  2. Or how about Barney Miller or WKRP in Cincinnati? Or the sketch humor of Carol Burnett? All with well written, sharp dialog, apparently unpossible these days.
