If anybody is wondering "What pistol for a 77 year old grandma?"

Well, according to Bea, it's a Ruger .45 single six.

Because she can control it better than one of those "ladies guns."

Sidenote- Google doesn't recognize Ruger as legit, but thinks it should be Luger.

  1. I'm thinking, if she wants something that packs a punch and isn't huge, perhaps a Charter Arms Bulldog Pug in .44 spl. Five shots, bobbed hammer, should fit nicely under her shawl.

    P.S.
You can get her some nice speedloaders for Christmas.

  2. The .45 is the 'go to' gun in the house. She has a Walther PK380 for packing; but the Bulldog would fit her style. I will suggest that to her. There is a set of .44 reloading dies in the family.
