We ended up at the dry bed of Hondo Creek, because the nearest public range was full- and the number I got for the Alamo Muzzle Loaders club was never answered. We stopped at the Powderhorn gunshop, and Karen got an idea of what I could get to like (a .357 Taurus revolver, or a lever action .22 Henry rifle).
