One more reason NOT to vote for Mittens

The elitist Senator from Alaska Lisa Murkowski has endorsed Mitt Romneycare.

...And he's proud of it:
Mitt Romney: “I am proud to announce the support of Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski. I look forward to working with her to expand Alaska’s energy production, bring jobs back to the state, and help get our country on the right track again.”

Straight from the people who know her best comes this truthful statement:
muzungu December 2nd 11:45 A.M (Anchorage Daily News):
Oh boy, what a surprise --- the kneejerk pro-status-quo, pro-everything-Establishment Lisa "Daddy, I want a Senate seat!" Murkowski has endorsed the most rabidly pro-status-quo of all the Republican presidential candidates. Color me unsurprised. That woman, and her chosen candidate, represents EVERYTHING that is wrong with American politics today --- a blinkered, power-pandering, self-interested, public-be-damned, short-sighted devotion to furthering the interests of the corrupt and sociopathic financial and political elite above all else.

AND this news on top of finding out that one of the few remaining Republican candidates let the MSM win by bringing up 1996 tactics of personal destruction.
I guess that $100 bill you drug though those trailer parks was a good investment this time Rahm.

I guess this needs to be banned next

That was my second thought.

My first thought was "I'm surprised that it's not taking off their shoulders."

More at The Blaze (with an annoying pop-up that makes me not want to go there again- GLENN)

So... We can expect a lawsuit at anytime

For Kali bypassing Federal immigration laws, right? Just like they did to Arizona, Arkansas,

Because only the Fed should be deciding what to do about illegals.

And I suppose that instead of cutting off their US taxpayer money- we'll see the Democrat controlled Senate increase the free money so they can 'integrate' them better.

Ummmm....why do they think only 1 million 'undocumented guest workers' and 'Latin tourists' will be moving there for the free goodies? But, then again there's that law of unintended consequences that I somehow always seem to call before it happens.

For all of you gunnies

Who know more than me...

What is "steel investment" , and is that good on a pistol?

BTW North- here's a good gunblog I didn't see on your list.

If you committed perjury by mail- or whatever they call it

Do you think you'd be able to just..."withdraw" it nine months later?

You know, like it never happened and no-one even saw it to do any expensive work to do research on it.
Under fire for losing track of weapons that turned up at crime scenes along the Southwest border, the Justice Department has taken the extraordinary step of formally withdrawing an inaccurate letter about the episode that it sent to Congress earlier this year.

Because we're not just breaking laws for a political aim- we're incompetent to boot.
Misleading Congress can be a prosecutable offense if a person who makes the statements knows they are false. But Attorney General Eric Holder has told lawmakers that so far he has no evidence anyone intended to deceive them. The matter remains under investigation not only by Republicans in Congress but also the Justice Department's inspector general.
Yes! Get Inspector Clouseau on the case immediately.

.... NINE months. That's as long as a fetus is in the womb -if you're not a Liberal.

Speaking of environmentalists and hippies

How many of the people in this video do you think are making policy now?

Meet Rachel Carson

The one person who without a government backing her- killed more people than many tin pot dictators.
You might not recognize her name, but you may have heard of her book.

That book was the beginnings of the scientific "consensus" way of looking at the world.
You know, instead of actually using verifiable facts- we cherry pick the ones we want and emotionalize them.
Then we print a book that eco-tards go wild over and start banning chemicals which were getting disease vectors under control.

When Rachel Carson's Silent Spring was published in 1962, it generated a storm of controversy over the use of chemical pesticides. Miss Carson's intent in writing Silent Spring was to warn the public of the dangers associated with pesticide use. Throughout her book are numerous case studies documenting the harmful effects that chemical pesticides have had on the environment. Along with these facts, she explains how in many instances the pesticides have done more harm than good in eradicating the pests they were designed to destroy. In addition to her reports on pesticide use, Miss Carson points out that many of the long-term effects that these chemicals may have on the environment, as well as on humans, are still unknown. Her book as one critic wrote, "dealt pesticides a sharp blow" (Senior Scholastic 1962). The controversy sparked by Silent Spring led to the enactment of environmental legislation and the establishment of government agencies to better regulate the use of these chemicals.

Happy birfday EPA, I hope it's your last one!

Federalize them, then fire them all

60,000 union thugs are holding the economy of 305,000,000 Americans hostage to their greed.

Nice...I'm sure it's a Federal crime to interfere with railroad traffic- if WE did it.

But if the THUGS at the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees and the American Train Dispatchers Association do it, all they get is more union bennies paid by the working class and the 99% who are against union corporate greed.

Mittens, if you think Bret Baier was bad...

So the candidate from Central Casting was asked some hard-ish questions by Bret Bair on Fox News the other night, and he didn't like it.

Mitt Romney's cantankerous side emerged again last night during a Fox News interview during which Bret Baier pushed the presidential candidate on his several position changes over the years. What made Romney's frustration last night different from its past occurrences was that this time it happened in the comfy conservative confines of Fox News instead of on the debate floor.

So, did you happen to see what the MSM did to their favorite RINO during the last election- the 'maverick' John McCain?
If you can't even handle some semi-tough questions without getting pissed, how are you going to handle the hate-filled slanted questions coming from the sycophant of the 0bama media?
They haven't gotten close to being hard on you, because they want YOU to be the one running against their Chicago Jeezus- because they know you'd lose.

UPDATE
Because it's not worth it's own post.
Mitt Romneycare isn't even man enough to attack Newt.
He has to have a fellow Yankee RINO do the dirty work so he doesn't muss his hair- or something.
Yeah, show us more of that inner Mitt:

Putting this into historical perspective

The new realism of the 0bama wrecking yards that will be the fate of the Navy- and the longer tours don't look so onerous compared to:
Sir Francis Drake-
In December of 1577, I set off on the Golden Hind on my trip around the world. I had the best-equipped expedition ever launched by England--5 stout ships, well armed, and a crew of 150 men. We reached the coast of Brazil in April of 1578. On May 21st we entered the Straits of Magellan at the southern tip of South America.

We turned northward and sailed up the coast of Chile and Peru attacking and destroying Spanish ships. We continued north along the coastline, exploring as far as Vancouver, Canada. Then we sailed across the Pacific Ocean to the Celebes and Java, and still westward to the Cape of Good Hope at the southern tip of Africa.

We crossed the equator in July and sailed into Plymouth Harbor in September of 1580. I returned with one ship and a half-starved crew of 58 men who had not set foot on a populated shore for 6 months.

Ferdinand Magellan, the Portugee
The voyage began September 8, 1519, and lasted until September 6, 1522 (almost 3 years). Magellan sailed from Seville, Spain, with five ships, the Trinidad, San Antonio, Concepcion, Victoria, and Santiago. Three years later, only one ship (the Victoria) made it back to Seville, carrying only 18 of the original 270 crew members.

Captain James Cook
Two ships, the Resolution and the Adventure left in July, 1772 and headed to Cape Town just in time for the southern summer. Captain Cook proceeded south from Africa and turned around after encountering large amounts of floating pack ice (he came within 75 miles of Antarctica). He then sailed to New Zealand for the winter and in summer proceeded south again past the Antarctic Circle (66.5° South). By circumnavigating the southern waters around Antarctica, he indisputably determined that there was no habitable southern continent. During this voyage he also discovered several island chains in the Pacific Ocean.

After Cook arrived back in Britain in July, 1775, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society and received their highest honor for his geographic exploration.

Where we hear from Old NFO, from the Navy Times about what's coming down the road for the fleet.
Long cruises, however, seem to be becoming a habit. The destroyer Roosevelt, an independent deployer to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operations, returned Nov. 6 to Mayport, Fla. It spent 200 of its 213 days underway and at one point pulled 113 straight days at sea. The ship did make three port visits, the Navy said.
~snip~
Bataan's 2009 cruise lasted 210 days -- just shy of seven months. The pace didn't let up. Thirty-four days later, Bataan and the 22nd MEU got underway to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief support to earthquake-stricken Haiti.

That deployment lasted 10 weeks. Four months of ship maintenance began in August 2010, followed by at-sea training -- and the current deployment, which started months ahead of schedule

Ok, I really shouldn't compare a modern Navy made of steel to 17th century ships made of oak. BUT!
Those leaky ships didn't have water distillation plants, fresh food from UNREPS, instant communications or modern antibiotics- not to mention that they were only then finding out that limes cured scurvy.

But then again, you can't just run a 1000' carrier onto a Pacific atoll to careen it to fix hull problems and refit with native timber.

Only in the mind of a Liberal

Can human slavery and a porous border be two completely separate and unrelated things.

We have some kind of States AG convention here in San Antonio this week, and their newest thing is a crackdown on human smuggling.

Illegal immigration was mentioned once, and not in relation to *HOW* these sex slaves get into America and elsewhere.

Attorneys General from all fifty states have gathered in San Antonio for the annual convention of the National Association of Attorneys General, and officials tell 1200 WOAI's Michael Board that strategies to fight human trafficking are on the top of the agenda.

One proposal, being floated by Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna is to stop dancing around the issue of modern day slavery, and call it what it is.

"This is not prostitution, this is not illegal immigration, these are people who have been brought in against their will or under false pretenses," McKenna says.

Human trafficking has replaced drug dealing as the number two crime in terms of profits worldwide, behind only trafficking in illegal weapons.

UMM,,,,yeah, maybe if the ATF, FBI, BATF and the rest would stop using tax money to send guns down to Mexico- maybe the #1 crime would change, huh Sparky?

He says we have come a long way in dealing with domestic violence to the point where everybody is aware of the problem, society itself is fighting back against it, and people who commit the crime are not only prosecuted, they are marginalized and shunned by the greater community.  The attorneys general will try to make that happen with human trafficking.
"We don't even have a good fix today on how many domestic human trafficking victims there are in the United States today," he said.

And we never will because Liberals don't want anyone getting near actually doing something about stopping the flood of illegals into the country.

A snippet of conversation from the Dr.s office

...As she was telling me about the new rules for e-recordkeeping as she was typing in my medical info for some unelected, unaccountable, uncaring and overpaid bureaucrat in some DeeCee office to look over and decide what kind of .GOV program I should be force into because of my cholesterol.

"Yeah, remember when the MSM was telling us about Republicans regulation what goes on in the bedroom?"

"When was the last time Republicans passed a law they didn't read in the middle of the night forcing your Dr. to send your medical records to some .GOV drone?"

Don't you just hate it when that happens?

My internets were crashing these last two days...

Kind of like this, except I wasn't doing something stoopid:

Wow, those little champagne yeasties keep on like the Energizer bunny

I made the last batch of cider with 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar and half a packet of dry champagne yeast for each gallon.

After it stopped bubbling, I racked it into another bottle and added 1/2 cup of honey to sweeten it back up a little.
I just opened one of the bottles and had a little fizz and most of the honey has been converted too. Now I have a dryish hardish cider (at least 10.5 ABV) that I can tell has plenty of kick to it.

I can't use the hygrometer because *someone* threw a bottle in with the wine-making supplies when she was ironing and it came out of it's plastic holder in about three big pieces and lots of sharp little ones.

Proving once again that environmentalism is a religion

We have from Chuck, the official website of the "Ark of Hope."
The Ark of Hope, a 49"(124.5cm) x 32" (81.3cm) x 32" (81.3cm) wooden chest was created as a place of refuge for the Earth Charter document, an international peoples treaty for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the 21st century.

You know, just like the "Ark of the Covenant"- except this one has Unicorn horns protecting it instead of Angels.

Each panel visualizes a season, a direction, an element, and a universal symbol. Symbols of faith from traditional religions and indigenous societies surround the top panel of "Spirit" that honors the children and young animals of the world. The 96" carrying poles are unicorn horns which render evil ineffective.
I thought is was majik that was rendered ineffective- oh well, I'm just a nonbeliever...
Did you get permission from the Unicorn Rider to dehorn at least two of his rides?

Inside the Ark's lid is the Earth Charter handwritten on papyrus paper. The University of Cairo supplied Sally with instructions for making paper with papyrus - a plant known to have the ability to purify water of pollutants. The papyrus was harvested from the Living Systems, Inc. waste treatment plant in South Burlington, VT, soaked for two weeks in Sally's bathtub, then pressed using 90,000 pounds of pressure at Langdell Papers, a Vermont papermaker in East Topsham.

"Harvested"? Do they grow papyrus in sewer plants now?
I guess she didn't have a use for that bathtub for two weeks...being a hippie and all...

Wish me luck

I have to go food shopping.

I've had worse

As far as earworms go-

...And yeah, it reminds me of someone.
...And yeah, I knew she was bad news.
...And yeah, she left a trail of guys in her wake.

But still it's a good bluesy, southern sliding song.

So, there's a Russian newsbabe out of a job

Because she flipped the bird at president Thin-skinned.
Her handlers are saying she thought she was off camera, and it was aimed at her recording crew....

Out of a job for something blind people couldn't recognize.

The N*gg*r who decided to play 'Lying @ss Beatch"  when a conservative woman came on to the show that's paying his (excessive) salary  is still going to his job with a token non-apology (as usual for Leftists).

It's a good thing he wasn't a Republican who said a black guy lied during some speech in the Congressional palace.

I hate to say it

Because this comes off one of my Sea Bee facebook pages...

But this has fail written all over it- unless I'm missing the nuance....

UPDATE:
link fixed,thanks Bob.

In another triumph of "Smart Diplomacy"

We have Mubaraks successor claiming even more power than Hosni had, and bringing even more riots to Tahrir Square in spite of the arrogant rhetoric which is coming out of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
When he's not busy campaigning, golfing or lying about Republicans.- he's busy undermining our ties to toning down the extreme elements of the Islamic Brotherhood.

The Obama administration, meanwhile, appeared to bring its position on the crisis in Egypt closer to the protesters' demands, urging the generals to fully empower the next interim civilian government.
"We believe that Egypt's transition to democracy must continue, with elections proceeding expeditiously, and all necessary measures taken to ensure security and prevent intimidation," The White House said in a statement. "Most importantly, we believe that the full transfer of power to a civilian government must take place in a just and inclusive manner that responds to the legitimate aspirations of the Egyptian people, as soon as possible."

Islamic democracy- one MAN, one vote, one time.

Oh,,,and you Christians- it would be a good time for you to find somewhere else to live. Sorry, but the US is full of anti-American Somali 'refugees'.

Shhhhhh.....be wery, wery quiet

We're hunting the wiley, waskelly wabbit.
Because it's literally true that these rabbits are actually feral, it just doesn't sound right- does it?

Like a feral cat, or a feral dog, or even feral pigs that need killing- a feral bunny just doesn't seem to fit.

Unless you're in a town over-run with the things and things are so bad that the town council votes to allow rabbit hunting inside the city limits.

What gauge for killer rabbit?

Just take it for the cause, newsies

You female journos are going to have to stop complaining about being sexually assaulted by Islamic rioters in Egypt. Take it for the cause, just like your sisters in the #OWS movement are not reporting rapes because it makes the commune look bad.

You female journalists are going to have to suck it up, or the entire Sharia fundamentalist idea might be damaged and lose ground in the west.
You're big girls, you know how to cover things up. You did it for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama so just get the medical attention you need and we'll get on appeasing militant Islam.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, that letter to Mrs. Bachman makes it all better :-)

I don't watch Jimmy Fallon, and couldn't pick him out if I ever saw him.

But the head of NBC wrote a nice letter apologizing to her for that vile song his band decided to insult her with when she came on.

Vaughan wrote that the incident was "not only unfortunate but also unacceptable," Bachmann spokeswoman Alice Stewart told The Associated Press. She said Vaughn offered his sincerest apologies and said the band had been "severely reprimanded."

Fallon also apologized to Bachmann when they spoke earlier Wednesday, she said. He'd tweeted earlier, saying he was "so sorry about the intro mess."

"He was extremely nice and friendly and offered his apology, and she accepted it," Stewart said, adding that the comedian said he was unaware the band planned to play the song. "It's just unfortunate that someone had to do something so disrespectful."

I also notice that unlike when some Liberal or PC protected person or group feels disrespected- that no-one was fired, demoted or even suspended.

A day late and ummmm...forget about those Dollars

Those #Occupythehighway dooshes got to DeeCee today, but darn it- they missed the sooper deficit cutting committee by one day.
Think of that. If they'd have stepped it up just a bit into a rout step instead of a shamble-
The Mobile Occupation protesters--seen here on a highway in Chester, Pa--often marched in the dark because exhaustion caused them to walk slower than anticipated

we could be on the way to fiscal prosperity right now with their adolescent ideas on budget cutting and wealth redistribution.

Because as one leader said:
Bozlee dropped out of college at the University of Hawaii to join Occupy, and says he’d rather travel across America than get a job. “Do I want to work? Only if I wanted a home, wife, kids and a dog. If not, I think you’re ruining your life,” he said.

Like the left said about the Tea Party

...And won't mention about #OWS.

That is certainly a monochrome group of people there...

Redistributing wealth and all.

I bet Obama approves.

Monday, November 21, 2011

Hey! Mika Brzezinski, how about being disgusted at these?

Since I'm not sure what you're disgusted about- the take a bath thing?
Or was it the Get a job thing?

Ok Mika? There's three generations telling them the same thing.

Or did Newt hit a nerve with the stinking hippie thing?

That's right WOAI 1200 on your AM dial

Jump right on that Democrat meme about Perry embarrassing Texas.

"If you stopped time right now, I think most Americans would think that Texas are a bunch of yahoos, because our governor has pretty much been acting like one," Harold Cook, an Austin political consultant who handles mainly Democrats, told 1200 WOAI's Michael Board.

Yeah, but the (half) black guy gets a pass because he's a Liberal.

Cook says Perry's campaign bumbling could end up damaging the state's ability to continue to attract top level companies to the state.

"When you are somebody in the human resources department of a major Fortune 500 company, and you are trying to recruit a whole bunch of people to move to Texas, this (Perry's campaign performance) probably doesn't make your job any easier," he said.

So that's why our entire economy is in the tank? Because our president think we have 57 states and the one he was supposedly born in is in Asia?
In that case we should get rid of O'bumbles and his side-kick plugs and watch the jobs pour in.

Sunday, November 20, 2011

You have to feel sorry for that Sgt

Standing up in front of that NASCAR crowd and getting boo'd

Just because he was standing next to MEchelle and Mrs. Plugs.

UPDATE-
That didn't take long, did it?

Because nothing says klass like a gaggle of Liberals.

Reinventing San Antonio

Lets see, we have:
  • A growing number of skyscrapers.
  • Decaying streets
  • Racial prefrence groups steering policy
  • A new 2 mile loop of light rail (for $180 million)
  • Upcoming, high dollar projects against the citizens will (see above) without the means to pay for it
  • Sanctuary city status
  • More smoke-free zones and the usual lies that came with it
  • Unenforced laws for those with the right color of skin and the right accent
  • Financial and educational discrepancies between the four ISDs that make up the greater S.A. area
  • Increasing pumping fees in the Edwards aquafier to "protect" some endangered fish

And now to help cement their rise into the Elite Liberal brotherhood- a Poet Laureate.
Because nothing says snobbish elitism than having your own official Anti-American spokesmouth.
