That every time there are "voter irregularities" or ballot problems, it's always where Democrats are running things?
It's almost like they're trying to be incompetent.

Deja vu all over again
I remember seeing this guy on a scifi paperback book when I was in high school:
...Or was it a horror flick?
...Or was it a horror flick?
Mogadishu on the border
We learn today, that the entire police force of Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico Quit their jobs after their police station was assaulted by drug cartels.
Nuevo Leon, which just happens to border TEXAS near Laredo. But we don't need no steenkin' fences.
Now what? You have an entire town without any cops, and another- the only one with enough cajones to be the chief is a 20 year old GIRL.
With drugs and violence so rampant, maybe you could let your citizens try to defend themselves?
Nooooo, can't let those peasants have GUNS, might hurts someone important.
Or worse yet, once they get the cartels under control- decide that they want a truly representative government.

How ,,, unsurprising
That the default vote goes to Harry Reid in the Nevada elections.
It's not like Axelrod didn't already tell that they were going to steal this election.
Just a quick look at the Handbook of Texas brings us plenty of examples of Democrats and their offshoots trying to steal elections. --All bolding is mine.
We have, at a glance:
It's not like Axelrod didn't already tell that they were going to steal this election.
Just a quick look at the Handbook of Texas brings us plenty of examples of Democrats and their offshoots trying to steal elections. --All bolding is mine.
We have, at a glance:
- LOTT, TEXAS- Its population was predominantly black Republicans.(My how times change) The community was one of the sites of voting disorders in November 1886 investigated by the United States Congress in 1888. Lott's ballot box was stolen by the Ku Klux Klan, which supported a Populist-Democratic coalition, to prevent Republican control of county government.
- GRABALL, TEXAS-In the 1880s black residents, who made up 80 percent of the population, were Republicans. In 1886 the local electoral board included two black officials. That year the Ku Klux Klan destroyed the community's ballot box. Electoral violence at Graball was later the subject of a congressional investigation.
- HIDALGO COUNTY-..middle-class business owners in the Rio Grande valley to organize against boss rule. Anderson Y. Baker, who had been supported by James B. Wellsqv's Democratic machine, became Hidalgo county treasurer in 1907 and sheriff in 1912.
...In November 1928 they expected a crooked election and purportedly sent 2,000 telegrams to President Calvin Coolidge petitioning for a fair one. After the election was held, the Republicans charged that pro-Baker officials had thrown out the entire Weslaco ballot box. Bakerites claimed that since the returns were not sealed in accordance with the law, the ballots had to be thrown out.
...When a Brownsville grand jury took up the legal case, no indictments were made.
...Baker was "actively engaged in canvassing Mexican voting precincts for support of the `reorganized democrats.'"
...However, both Mexican Americans and Mexicans voted, and a sector of the Mexican-American electorate was independent. Political pressure, personal favors, and monetary or financial gain motivated these voters, as it did others.
- WESLACO, TEXAS- In the 1928 county election the Weslaco ballot box was rejected by Judge A. W. Cameron, an incumbent official whose victory was in question. Cameron(a DEMOCRAT), who evidently believed that he would have won the Hispanic vote of Weslaco, testified that Mexican-American voters had been intimidated by a crowd yelling "Don't let those Mexicans in to vote. Throw them out."
- HARRISON COUNTY (think Houston)-White citizens bitterly resented federal authority, especially when it meant enfranchisement of the black majority and a Republican party county government that continued even after the Democratic party regained control statewide in 1874. African Americans found that freedom did not bring significant economic or educational opportunities. Harrison County was "redeemed"—returned to white Democratic rule—in 1878 when residents formed the Citizen's Party of Harrison County and appealed to voters with the argument that Republican government was too expensive. Amidst charges of fraud and coercion, Citizen's party candidates won the election on a technicality involving the placement of a key ballot box and took firm control of local government. The county has remained politically conservative since Reconstruction. Until 1900 its black voters returned Republican majorities in national elections, but the Citizen's party controlled county offices. Once black voters were disfranchised, the county voted solidly Democratic in all elections until 1948.
- ALICE, TEXAS- Alice made national headlines during the 1948 primary election for state senator. Lyndon Baines Johnson and Governor Coke Stevensonqqv both ran for the Democratic party nomination. It was alleged that Johnson won the primary because he had stolen the election with the help of George B. Parrqv, political boss, who controlled both Duval and Jim Wells counties. Alice became the focal point of a federal investigation when it was alleged that Alice's Precinct 13 ballot box had been stuffed.

Do you really want to go there, Bill?
It seems Ol' Slick Willey was up in MinniSOta over the week-end stumping for the Dem. Senatorial wannabe, Tarryl Clark, in which his grasp of the truth- as always was on the wrong rope.
In a refreshing change from the tired ditch-and-slurpee refrain, our ever emphatic ex-president reminded us:
Clinton largely focused the Democrats’ record in Congress and argued the party is making progress fixing the economy but needs more time. “I’d like to see [Republicans] get behind a locomotive going 200 miles an hour straight downhill and stop it in 10 seconds. You can’t do that.”
Now, I wonder, was that train analogy in his prepared speech? Or did the Philanderer in Chief see Tarryl, and just think of ,,,,,nope- not going there.
Like I asked if you really wanted to go there, because it took me a whole five seconds to think of this song. Who's been driving that train for the last four years, Bill?
The article ends without disclosing if Prez Fratboy tried to show Tarryl his oil can.
But, riding that Democrat train crew meme:
Even the Brits are noticing...

I don't understand the problem
There's a big stink about Google stealing user info off of WIFI networks from there street view cam-cars.
I really can't understand why the same people who keep telling me- when they bring their .gov privacy infringing policies around- that "but if you're not doing anything wrong, you don't have to worry! [insert smiley face]"...and "They just want to know who's using then, for research- they won't use it against you [insert smiling unicorn]".
I guess,,,,
But in another striking parallel with the .gov- Google is 'mortified' that somehow- without their knowledge- their mobile wireless data gathering devices have stolen user names, passwords, e-mail addresses and URLs off of WIFI networks. Yes, 'mortified' that without their knowledge
some low level worker bee decided to equip every cam-car in. the. world. with the ability to steal and record all that private cr@p.
I'm not a nerd, but even I know that WIFI and Hot-Spots are really, "really". "REALLY" unsecure unless you take strong preventive measures, which is why the house is wired.

So y'all heard about prince Harry-
Taking credit for saving the worldwide economy by throwing ours under the bus,,,,or something. or you may not, because he said it on a Liberal talkshow hosted by Sgt. Schultz.
Which only reminded me of this song...
With Ruby Starr (which also mebbee gave me a thing about redheads?)

Twelve years ago
...Or 17 years ago, depending on how you count.
Three American Presidents ago- under Bill Clinton, Israel gave up land to the Palestinians for peace.
See, this was supposed to ease tensions and return land won in defending themselves from a Syrian invasion twenty years before.
In return, the Palies were supposed to stop trying to kill Israelis.
How'd that work out for you Israel?
I hope you're done giving chit away for nothing.

So NPR fired Juan Williams
He's been pushing the Liberal agenda as long as I've been aware of him.
He got the intolerant result he's been behind.
I don't feel sorry for him.
Why is anyone acting surprised that Liberals are eating each other?
They drop their veil of superior intelligence and tolerance whenever one of them gets out of ideological lock-step.
Look at Joe Lieberman and their attacks on him for supporting the war.

The electric Edsel
Heh!
Gee, imagine that! Government Motors lied about how well their Chevy Volt would work.
>>>>.........This is my shocked face----
Was any one (except for Libs) really surprised that reality didn't meet hype?

I'll get in on the 4 rules meme
Just a little.
Jay G mentioned something in his comment on the first rule and it's variations- I was taught that all guns are considered loaded until you checked.
I think that rule goes way back before Col. Cooper. Way back- even to the first guy that almost got shot by a clueless recruit playing with his matchlock... "but,I didn't know it was loaded!"
Back then you HAD to act like the gun was loaded because the only way you could check was to fire it, or measure the inner barrel with your ramrod (you DO mark where the muzzle is when it's empty, right?) and see if the muzzle is on the empty mark, or about an inch below.
The rest is common sense, and the Colt BP revolvers had a "safety" between each cap for the hammer to rest on, so you could safely fill all six cylinders without worrying about hammer drop. That came in handy when you were using the but to pound bobwahre staples or making the morning coffee.

Telegraphing their punches?
Is that what Axelrod is doing here?
No. I -- as I said, I think you're going to see an -- an election where, you know, people win who perhaps you didn't expect to win, people lose who -- who, perhaps, you didn't expect to lose on -- on both sides.
Lets look at the way those Chicago politicians work, and how long they've had to work on stealing this election and strong arm polling judges, not to mention the whole "get whitey" thing of the Holder inJustice system.

So, come January
When the new Congress takes over, they have the power of the purse.
That means that since ICE is throwing illegals back onto the streets- and not going their jobs, that they don't need as much money in their budget, right?
I mean, if you're paying someone and they don't do what they're paid for, you're paying for nothing.
Right?
So if they refuse to do their jobs, cut that part out of their budget.
But we all know that won't happen, that's almost fiscally responsible- not the way the elitists do it up in DeeCee.

The horns spikes of a dilemma
Well, actually it's not even spikes- or buttons of a dilemma.
It's more of a padded air cushioned seat of a dilemma- with A/C and radio.
When I renewed my CDL, I dropped the HAZMAT endorsement because 1) I didn't need it where I was then working - 2) I was planning on staying there for a long time and 3) I didn't want to go through all the Barbra Streisand that the TSA wanted to put me through.
Now- if I have my X (HAZMAT and tanker) endorsement- then I can chase after a wider variety of jobs.
I passed my HAZMAT test and paid the $11 dollars and verified myself, the wife and the three dogs with 8"x11" glossies with a paragraph description on the back.
I was handed my temp and another handful of papers to use when my permanent license arrived. That paperwork is to get my fingerprints to DeeCee and the EffBeEye to make sure I'm not a threat to the public. Then they'll send an Ok to the DPS in Lytle , so I can actually USE my X endorsement.
The problem is- is that it'll cost almost $100 for that pleasure, that I may need in the near future.
So- do I spend the money on a less than 50/50 chance of a job, of huddle in the bunker and wait for a City job at $10/hr with full (free) bennies?

Where to go with this....
EWWwww!
What's that on your neck?
It's "a physical reminder of a fleeting moment of pleasure."
It's WHAT??!!??
"It is a visual marker of chaos turned perfection through an act of beauty and lust.."
And it's *koff* hand made for only $420.

I realize that this idea is unrealistically simplistic
Anyone with an IQ above a chicken knows the chit is going to hit the fan November 3rd when the Dems loose their unbreakable majority come January.
What I see happening is that there will be everything in their Socialistic wet dream voted on, passed and signed into law in their last temper tantrum against the American people.
The Man child in the White House do everything he can to end-around congress (that's an American football term, Barry)and do whatever ha can to finish bringing America to her knees via Presidential Edicts, his unelected and unanswerable Czars and activist Judiciary will be going after every part of American life that they can commandeer.
Congress probably won't have the votes to veto anything He tries.
The only thing- realistically is to not fund his new mandates, Cabinet appointees, nationalisation programs and make their own financial agenda.
Let him Veto the Republican efforts to restore financial order and then pay for it in 2012.
But that won't happen.
Neither will impeachment.
He won't be impeached because he's black.
None of the other financial restraints will be put up because there are still too many of the old elite congress critters who want to be liked by the MSM, and don't like those upstart Tea Baggers.
So The Prick is going to have free reign for the next two years.

Rewriting the past
Again.
The Won is going to be on Mythbusters for their lowest rated show of the year on December 8th.
Not only because of THE Won, but in keeping in the theme- they'll be trying a myth that's already a proven failure twice already.
That Archemedes used the sun to flame a Roman flotilla.
Except this time it'll work, because we NEED to prove just how powerful solar power is, and we'll disremember the failures of the past.
If they REALLY wanted to test some myths they should have had him try to walk on water.
Or his ability to part the waters, or even to lower them.
Somehow, I think there will be something else on TEEWEE December 8th at my house- oh look! another re-run of Groundhog day.

Things to do today
The daily voter receipts envelope looked like a 4x6 manila envelope, and at 1:30 this afternoon was bulging open. So in South Texas there's a lot of interest in this election.
I was going to vote a straight Republican ticket, but wanted the pleasure of voting against each Democrat that I could.

When I was in High School
And in the Navy, the Cowboys were a class act.
Then Jerry Jones bought it.
Today, I laugh when they loose for stupid crap like this. Even though I can't remember when I last watched an entire football game.
I know it was one of the Superbowl games back in the late '90s because it was at the VFW in Port A. and I had money in a pool. Otherwize, the Cowboys and their parole officers did nothing for me, nor did the renamed Houston Oilers (There was a Cub Scout troop in the Astrodome....). The Packers folded every time I tried watching...
Now I'm hearing rumbles of a strike..
Like the one that made MLB so popular when they canceled the playoffs? The playoffs that were so dear to America that they played through out WWII. but went under for organized labor.

Hey kids!!! Who remembers this?
"Domestic reserves were low (about 52 billion barrels, a 10-year supply); the United States was importing about 27 percent of the crude petroleum it needed every year; and gasoline prices were rising."
Yep, 37 years ago today, the Religion of Peace threw an oil embargo on their best buddy, which resulted in gas shortages, price spikes and a depression that lasted forever.
It also ushered in the Dept of Energy to ensure we would NEVER again be dependant on foreign oil.
Today it's being used to stop drilling and to force us to use Unicorn farts and Leprechaun p1ss for our energy needs, not to mention mandating unreasonable CAFE standards.

Pork, the anti-muslem meat
I was reading this article in the CSM about pork being used to harass the RoP believers going about their tolerant lives.
Basically what they're saying is that there's an increasing push back against the islamification of America. The general gist is that moslims are being harassed because of their beliefs.
The FBI crime stats show more anti-Semitic hate crimes in America than those directed at the RoP by a vast margin. Somehow, I don't think any had anything to do with pork products.

Not where I'm shopping
See, I'm reading this BBC article about how "something" needs to be done to tweek the dollar.
Again.
Ben Bernanke is telling his audience that inflation isn't happening.
He also raised concern that the inflation rate was falling below what he considered consistent with the Fed's mandate.
He said some measures suggested the underlying inflation rate - which ignores short-term price volatility - may have fallen as low as 0.5% in recent months.
Most analysts believe the Fed targets a rate of 2%
Well Ben- the father of TARP-
you obviously aren't the one buying gas and groceries on the state max unemployment payout of $406 a week (before taxes).
And the brain that gave the WON the idea for all his stimulus plans wants to do some "quantitative easing", whatever that is.
From the gist of the paragraph, it sounds like he wants to spend even more money we don't have to buy our own worthless bonds.
Kind of like me using my U.E. money to pay down my credit cards so I can charge more on them.
But, then again, maybe it's the right time to get Karen's retirement money from England to use as down payment on a house in the coastal bend where they're still hiring.
The way Bernanke is pushing inflation, it looks like we'd get more bang for the.....British Euro,,,or something.
I just hope I can sell the house before all those foreclosures come back on line and flood the market.

I am so ashamed
That a Construction Electrician ...a farging SEABEE, has never heard of thermite.
He's got the bare basics down of the Cadweld idea,, but Jeezus
DOOD, serously, find a UT and borrow his propane torch, it'll really help- trust me.
And he's a CE-2 an E-5 fer Chrissakes!
Oh look, my old Battalion in Rota!
it's just too bad that higher wold never let me run a perimiter of bare wire hooked up to our MEPS generators at 2400VAC.
It would be more effective than pebbles in a C-rat can.
I loved NAS Rota.

Look at Alfalfa
He's all growed up and debating Linda McMahon.
She asks Alfalfa- "How do you create a job?"
He doesn't do too bad as a start:
“A job is created, and it can be in a variety of ways by a variety of people. But principally by people and businesses in response to demand for products and services.
..."
Then the wheels fall off and he keeps riding that wagon:

She asks Alfalfa- "How do you create a job?"
He doesn't do too bad as a start:
“A job is created, and it can be in a variety of ways by a variety of people. But principally by people and businesses in response to demand for products and services.

Seriously now
Are you actually telling me that Alvin Greene- the stealth Democrat who came out of nowhere is an Air Force vet?
Seriously?
Because when I was shopping around for the best deal as a recruit. all the AF recruiter could come up with was that in boot camp- EVERYBODY HAD APARTMENTS!" and that nasty Army and Navy had open bay barracks---and we don't even want to talk about what the Marines do to their recruits....if-you-know-what-I-mean...
But anyway... everyone knows that the AF has the reputation for having the smartest people in their ranks that probably would equal a highly rated college campus anywhere they had a permanent base.
I went to school at Sheppard AF base and was quartered in what Naval officers (of a low rank) would be used to, and they apologised that the E-5 quarters were undergoing renovation and that I was in a two man room that made a hotel look bad...
....

oh, where was I?
Ah. yes Mr. Green.
