Nice idea Louisiana

How do you think the Statists in control of the White House are going to react to your petition to secede?
Oh, look! Texas has one too.
Yeah, like they're really going to let us go- who'll carry water for the blue states then?

Found a good time-sink

Because Navy-One mentioned it several times.

This set of answers proves that the University experience takes you right out of the ordinary plane of existence that most Americans know.
The basic question was a lighthearted question about civil war tech thrown back to the Spartans.

Sorry to Navy-One for stealing your schtick- but couldn't help it this time.

This is a link to the Q & A to this question.:

Whole entire american civil war armies combined vs the whole army of spartans?
The north and the south combined vs the whole entire spartan army? The civil war armies went back in time to fight the spartans. The civil war armies have better weapons, but the spartans never back down and they have better strategy.

Who do you think would win?

  • - 3 days left to answer.

Additional Details

@Ksteven, we are just pretending.

Yeah- I'm Ksteven..still trying to figure out just "who" Navy-One is....

We got on the subject of watching TeeWee today at work

One of the other foremen were saying how much his cable bill went up, and I mentioned that I don't have to worry about that. I told them that any cable I get is overpriced unless it's free, no matter what line-ups they offer- because:
  •  I don't speak enough spanish- so I lose 1/2 those chanels
  • I don't watch soaps or shopping channels, so lose that 1/3
  • I don't watch a lot of sports and hardly any MSM news,
So what I'm left with is the "American PawnPickers" channel, the "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives Chanel,  the "House Hunters" chanel, The "Storage Wars" chanel, and a couple others they supplied.

Then they said- so you get free cable? No, I pay for my internet, but I told the Tech that I used to work for Time-Warner and they left the trap off the jack on the pole.

So they asked- you get free cable? No, I pay for my internet ;-)

AND with our new theme of joining mainstream America:

Look! The new normal!

Dear Mr. Gault,

You don't know me, and may probably not even see this letter; however I would like to express my appreciation for your idea of leaving the mess to those who made it.

I know and understand your seeking out the rich and powerful who could make a difference somewhere else. I am not rich or powerful, but I feel I can still make a difference.
I'm not a powerful oil magnate or a steel Barron, but I know how to install and maintain the utilities to keep them running wherever they may be.

I didn't contribute to this result, and fought against it in the small way that I could.
I don't want to be left to contend with the results of both this new political regime and the last fiscal sanity leaving this country.

Please sir, if you have a use for myself who learned many valuable skills in the Navy and my wife who can repair and manufacture electronic boards- let me know if there is any hope that we might be able to assist your newest endeavor.

Sincerely,
Kurt P.

Goodby America

A reminder to myself

Empty Petunias spa before you go to work.

Remember remember the 5th of November

The Gunpowder Treason and plot ;
I know of no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot
.

Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,
'Twas his intent.
To blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below.
Poor old England to overthrow.
By God's providence he was catch'd,
With a dark lantern and burning match

Holloa boys, Holloa boys, let the bells ring
Holloa boys, Holloa boys, God save the King!

Hip hip Hoorah !
Hip hip Hoorah !

A penny loaf to feed ol'Pope,
A farthing cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down,
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Burn him in a tub of tar,'
Burn him like a blazing star.
Burn his body from his head,
Then we'll say: ol'Pope is dead
.

Apparently I was wrong on thick women post

Maybe they're called Curvy women?

Ok, I can do a weekly Rule 5 thing on curvy women.

The non-Katrina event

Things aren't as bad in the blue coast as they were in the aftermath of Katrina- physically.

What is the same- or worse is the FEMA response and the Democrats in charge who are falling down (as usual).
There are food riots, dumpster diving (on the second day), fuel riots And FEMA  says they won't be able to supply potable water until Monday. THEN we have news that utility trucks are being turned away because they're not union members. -if I were in that line truck, I'd make a sign saying "Turned away from helping NY/NJ by IBEW #_____" as I went home.

BUT as bad as things are, we're not hearing the non-stop criticism directed at the guy in charge of the FAIL that is the response- no one in the MSM is calling out Barack H. 0bama and saying he hates white people, are they?
No one is going anywhere near blaming the 'Smartest Negro in the whole world' for the failings of his hand picked appointments.

Because it's not a white republican who's not going enough.

This is why you can't have good things

Bridgeport is right in the heart of Liberal-land on the east- isn't it?

United Illuminating workers reported eggs and other objects being thrown at them a day after Mayor Bill Finch said the utility was taking care of wealthy suburbs while his constituents suffered. The unrest caused United Illuminating to pull its workers out until the city agreed to provide police protection.
"Citizens began throwing things at the crews," Michael West, a spokesman for United Illuminating, told FoxNews.com. "It started to get pretty hairy. They did not feel safe."
West said it started with verbal abuse and escalated.

Sorry, ice cream machine is broken

Long hours, nothing new- 0bama is going to use the hurricane/winer storm to steal the election.

Need to find a dentist to do something about a molar that I lost the front 1/4 on- doesn't hurt, but it's rubbing my tongue raw.

Is this the touch of death?

It's like someone has the kiss of death on their favorites.

Lets take a look at how other things he touched worked out, shall we?

GM and the Volt still owe some $28 billion to the taxpayer IF they can sell any to the public
Solar power- I had a list of all those alternative energy companies going down the tubes
The Democrat Party........

So, Lena Dunham

Whoever you are--
Comparing your first vote to losing your virginity- is like voting for the hot jock who treated you like a slut the next day?
Instead of the guy who would treat you with some kind of respect?

...And now the jock that acted like your his duty booty is wanting you to vote for him again.

Did I get that analogy right?

Easy does it

No EASY, I said,

Shit!----

I wouldn't be bragging too much Gloria

I mean to you he's your Chocolate Jeezus, to the rest of us he's the Anti-Midas.

So don't let what he says go too your head.

I just got done voting

I could have marked the box for a straight ticket, but I wanted to personally fill in every contested race against the people who denied God three times.
The reason I got to vote early today was because the guy who signs out checks finally got tired of seeing stoopid, lazy dumbasses standing around on his dime.
He got tired of seeing them standing around or sitting playing with their phones or watching other people work.

It wouldn't of happened if the Super would have let me fire those SouthSan Vatoes back in July instead of giving them endless chances to see the error of their ways.
So he sent everyone home, except me because I was getting ready to patch some driveways.

He told me to take as much time as I needed and thanked me for being one of the few people who was working whenever he drove by.

So I have that going for me :-)

Since it's getting close to Halloween

And two weeks from election day.
With early voting already in progress in some states and the rest soon.

Here's a scary thought~

Who's responsible for safeguarding all those early votes?

Friday, October 19, 2012

Halfway through our ten hour day

I realized that I need to use an entire season of Netflix to get rid of an earworm-
Now you do-too:

Edit to add:

I don't think I've ever seen a still of that side of Jewel Staite before.

Ummm, that's all.

I probably won't be here in time to make any comments

Noe will I watch the debate if I am home because I hear enough of that arrogant prick on Foxnews radio at the top of every hour.

BUT what's the over/under that Candy Crowley goes all out to help President Thinskin?

Sunday, October 14, 2012

yeah- right Jan

I bet if the president who let your son be killed in Libya- it would be a political deal was a Republican.

"The father of Christopher Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya who was killed in the attack in Benghazi last month, said his son’s death shouldn’t be politicized in the presidential campaign.
“It would really be abhorrent to make this into a campaign issue,” Jan Stevens, 77, said in a telephone interview from his home in Loomis, California, as he prepares for a memorial service for his son next week".

Riiiight .
So Cindy Sheehan has some kind of  *moral authority* because her son died under Geo. W Bush, and the SEALs Mother who die defending Amb. Stevens doesn't because..he's a SEAL and wouldn't vote for the 0-man.
BUT some Liberal lawyer who has a political point to make about giving the president a break gets all the news...

So, what David Axelroid is saying

is that President Thinskin is going to be even more of a prick than normal?

President Obama is making “adjustments” ahead of Tuesday’s second debate against GOP challenger Mitt Romney and plans to be “aggressive” in the encounter, senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod said Sunday.

One theme was conveniently left out of this AP article

That the Liberal author didn't want to touch at their defending the black racist support of 0bama.

Is the fact that none of this automatic 'Black Pride' or closing in to support one of our own, or "he understands us" would be said if they wouldn't have buried Herman Cain in White floozies at the beginning of the Primaries.

Can you imagine the Liberal white-guilt MSM defending a black conservative?
Their heads would implode at having to deal with with voters turning out en mass to support a black guy.

The best leaders lead by example

Unfortunately- bad leaders also let their people know what they expect from them.

When your bosses boss is known for shady dealing, lying and skirting the law, it slides down the chain of command.
When your Administration shows absolutely NO respect for procedure or propriety, then your worker bees won't either. That's why we were entertained by the *hooker & blow* scandal down south and now the drunk SS Agent down in FLA.

On the Ryan-Biden "debate" last night

I had better things to do than to watch the 0bama version of Bob Yeuker go at it with Ryan, because I knew it would be like watching toddlers argue.

From what I read, that was about it, with a partisan adult thrown in the mix.
WHY the Republicans always let partisan Liberal members of the MSM (sorry about the redundancy) moderate without question is beyond me.

They are called the Stupid Party for a reason.
