...And math is a white thing anyway.
Except for 0bamas NASA telling everyone it's an Egyptian thing--- or something.
A city (San Fransisco) in a state (CA) that never had black slaves is looking at giving out $5 million in reparations to blacks who never were slaves in CA.
Because of Hte Feelzz.
And anyone who has the slightest bit of familiarity with the hood life knows the ONLY ones who'll have those Dollar$ will be the ones selling rims, fake grills, booty enlargements and the rest of the crap they throw their money away on.
Of course they're not talking about reparations for the Indians who WERE slaves to the missions, or the Chinese who were virtual slaves to the rail roads........

Rain
Down here in South-central Texas we don't get a lot during the summer.
Last summer was one of the dryer years, so I got curious to see how far I'd have to got if I dug a stock tank.
I want it deep enough that I can put fish in it, too. So early August, late July- dug a trench in the lowest part of Rancho Snakebit. This is basically the bottom of a bowl where everything drains to.
Seven feet down before I got anything that wasn't bone dry, and the clay was as hard as brick mortar.
I stopped about seven feet wen I found sandy clay that was maybe not dry- calling it moist would be a long-shot.
This is the same trench last week before the cold rainy, windy week we had.

Birthplace of the Winds
Adak, Alaska.
It's an island about 2/3 out on the Aleutian Island chain in the bearing Sea.
The wind is always blowing and the overcast is constant. On the occasional days that they clouds let the sun in, everyone not standing duty is generally granted Sunshine Liberty to enjoy it.
The way the weather has been here in Seguin, TX for almost a week- it feels like I was back up there.
In the wind, rain, cold overcast.
At least down here we don't have mosquitoes the size of Silver Dollars.
Off to his right is the Pet Sematary

And his latest po(a)st about tanks to the Ukraine is the usual.... maybe.

One of the nice things about being retired
Even if it came about abruptly- is that when it's cold, wet, windy and crappy, I don't have to leave my nice warm dry house.
Every day since I made the decision, I've done something on my To Do list.
I screwed up my shoulder again fixing a divider fence and tightening 700 of barb-wire... So that's another reason for taking it easy today.

This is a little dated
But it shows the difference in how some people think.
I live about 40 minutes east of San Antonio. About 2- 3 hours west of Houston. Except for the remnants of a hurricane hitting the coast, or maybe some freak wildfire catching my stand of Post Oaks on fire- I don't really have any weather related worries.
I've still probably got two months of food, propane and well water. The trucks hardly ever get below 1/2 tank. The only thing I'm worried about running out of is booze.
So I have a hard time relating to people who live where they chance getting snowed in for weeks- and knowing that- who don't stock up.
Even if their town "shudders to a halt" because of heavy snow.
-State and county plows don't buy their diesel from gas stations- they have their own tanks.
-I bet they vote Democrat.

Lets go fucking Brandon
Yesterday at this same HEB station it was $2.31.
38 cents in one day.
I guess the oil reserve is dry now and he's pissed off the Saudis, so we can enjoy our preview of the Soviet Stated of America.
Fucking asshole.

That wasn't as painful as I thought it would be
Brought some paperwork to finalize my Social Security retirement paperwork. Out in about half an hour.
I decided to just retire instead of looking for another job. I was hoping to get a little more set up before I took that step, but because of a repeated injury I'm no longer working for that company.
This year is going to suck because we made some $30K when we finally unloaded the mobile home in Hondo- and it wasn't out primary home...

Bullshit Dan Crenshaw
You're too much of a politician to just make a "metaphor" like that on accident.
Your an Establishment Republican just like Cornyn in the Senate.
I figured an ex-SEAL would be able to go against the Establishment, but being an Officer for 10 years made you just another box checker. Swayed by the DeeCee opinions instead of your constituents.

Democrats-
The party of complete corruption.
And paid-off judges.
The party that hands out ballots to illegals and refuses to let anyone know who they are.
So they can keep turning out voting system into a 3rd world Socialist paradise.
