I see were already getting the love from Libs on Romeys choice for veep in tweets and in their Lamestream Media pontifications.
What's it going to be like when they catch their collective breath?
You know- you people really need to take a chill pill. Just relax and quit hyperventilating for a bit, let the oxygen get to your brain.

The MSM don't wste any time do they?
Romney picks Ryan for Veep and the MSM is all over his lack of experience.
For one thing, Ryan has no significant private-sector experience. Besides summer jobs working at McDonald’s or at his family’s construction company, or waiting tables as a young Washington staffer, Ryan has none of the business-world experience Romney frequently touts as essential for governing. In the run-up to his first campaign for Congress, in 1998, that gap was enough of a concern for Ryan that he briefly became a “marketing consultant” at the family business, an obvious bit of résumé puffing.
He's got MORE private work experience that your Chicago Jeezus does- even now.
But Ryan’s Washington experience is also light, at least for a potential President—which, after all, is the main job description of a Vice-President. Ryan has worked as a think-tank staffer and Congressman, but he’s never been in charge of a large organization, and he has little experience with foreign policy.
~snip~
Who else does this remind us of?
Given how Sarah Palin was criticized for her lack of such experience, I’m surprised that Romney would pick someone whose ability to immediately step into the top job is open to question.
Well...YA! She isn't black and from Chicago- so the only way she could be more qualified was to have a questionable birth certificate.

WTF is it with Liberals and cupcakes?
Even before I had any idea about politics, I really didn't like cupcakes.
They were too small and crumbly; dry and didn't have enough frosting on them to make them appealing to me.

Jumping in feet first
From that brand new railroad trestle.
The TX DMV is going to stop using paper titles sometime next year.
They'll ALL be recorded on computers...somewhere.
The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles has begun the process of replacing paper titles with ‘e-Titles,’ which will help motor vehicle owners keep track of their titles and make it harder for crooks to counterfeit titles.
The e-Title system is expected to launch by fall of next year.
Ok, so how will this work when the inevitable h4x9r decides to play inside the DMV computers?
What about the entire system crashing?
“As we built out our new automation system, we will be able to sue your Texas Department of Public Safety driver license number as your unique identifier to make sure we find all the vehicles in the DMV motor vehicle database that are under your name,” said Randy Elliston, who heads Titles and Registration at the DMV.
Can I print my own title?
What about buying a used car? How do I know their title is good?

One last thought about the douche-bag Adam Smith
Then hopefully we can forget about him...except for the Google machine and his future employers.
Anyone who makes an "apology" video and spends 7 minutes lecturing you is still a douche.
Can you imagine going to work on your first day of a job and seeing that prick as your boss? I'd think about quitting right there on the spot.

Discontinued Olympic competitions
I was over at Legal Insurrection (but he doesn't know it because I've never signed up for anything) and he's got a list of abandoned sports of the Olympics here.
Motor-boating?
SRSLY?
How did that work?
Did your opponent pick the 'boatee?'
How were points awarded?
Could you use your wife?
Did they have a 'windsheld-wiper' competition, because that's the way I like to get them started....

So, Harry Reid is still flogging the romney tax horse?
Ok, instead of that whole "Harry Reid is a child molester" thing- lets get some real news going.
How about the Federal employees (including some on Harries staff) who owe a collective $3.4 Billion in back taxes- as of two years ago, and I don't think it's better now.
OR-
Maybe mention that if Romney's tax problem prevents him from being President- that being the heat of the Treasury would work, since it's some kind of requirement in the Obama administration....

One of the few poems I know by heart
The charge of the Light Brigade
1.
Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!
"Charge for the guns!" he said:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
2.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!"
Was there a man dismay'd?
Not tho' the soldier knew
Someone had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
3.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.
4.
Flash'd all their sabres bare,
Flash'd as they turn'd in air,
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wonder'd:
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right thro' the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reel'd from the sabre stroke
Shatter'd and sunder'd.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.
5.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell,
They that had fought so well
Came thro' the jaws of Death
Back from the mouth of Hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.
6.
When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wondered.
Honor the charge they made,
Honor the Light Brigade,
Noble six hundred.
Happy 206th Lord Alfred Tennyson

Because socialists don't understand people
I just watched "Lost castles of England" on Netflix.
It's about wooden castles and what the were in their height.
Leonard Nemoy was reading what the A&E writers wrote about how it's surprising that all the peons who lives as serfs abandoned those wooden castles, but still supported the Church of the same fiefdom.
It's like they don't understand how people resent being forced to live the way someone else forces them to.

On the topic of all things to everyone
Did you know that before he changed his name the second time, Barack was called Jim Dandy?
And that he used his super powers for good?
...And, NO- I didn't pick this clip just because Ruby Starr was in it.
Not completely anyhow.

The douchbag Adam Smith made another video
In this one, he tries in his Morally superior way -to apologize to Rachel (the victim of his self righteous wrath).
He still has that entire Liberal lack of awareness in his tunnel vision about Conservatives.
You watch and decide:
Does this kind of remind you of when Hillary! was First lady and discovered that her janitor (or maintenance guy- whatever) was a human being like herself, and had plans for the future?
Do you think he supports the PLO freedom armada?
What about CAIR?
Do you think he's still a dooshnozzle?

The Jihadi Hasan had another day in court yesterday
He still had the illegal beard that he was ordered to shave off last time -and was fined another $1000 for disobeying a direct order.
I knew he was going to use that moslim Bravo Sierra about having a beard when I first heard about it. Now the Judge is going to forcibly have Jihadi Hasan shaved if he doesn't do it himself.
Who wants to bet that when that happens- everything will break loose that the PC crowd has been trying to keep under wraps since Hasan was a Lt. (or Capt,,,,) and the Army will be charged with violating the tenants of Islam for making the terrorist Hasan ...shave.
Like he had no problem doing until that religious fever hit him.

Record sales at Chick-Fill-A yesterday
Sure is a lot of uproar about one bible-thumper stating what you'd expect a believing baptist to say.LOOK!
So, what is the willing accomplices in the lamestream media hiding from us about what's going on at the Chicago-on-the-Potomac?
Oh- LOOK!!
Chick-Fill-A!
QUICK, stare at it while we do something we don't want you to know about.

Now for news that's not
It's not news because it comes from CNN and it's about guns.
Actually It's basically a friendly puff piece for the gun control lobby with numbers pulled fromtheir asses some lefty gun surveys via the usual suspects.
Actually It's basically a friendly puff piece for the gun control lobby with numbers pulled from
The data, collected by
the Injury Prevention Journal, the United Nations Office on Drugs and
Crime, the General Social Survey and population figures from the U.S.
Census Bureau, found that the number of U.S. households with guns has
declined, but current gun owners are gathering more guns.
The United States tends
to have better data on gun numbers than other countries, for instance
Somalia or the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which may account for
the high percentage, according to Alan Lizotte, dean and professor at
the School of Criminal Justice at The University at Albany.
.~snip~
Politicians from both
parties have tip-toed around gun control after the Aurora, Colorado,
movie theater massacre to avoid political implications in the upcoming
election. However, studies suggest they are bowing to a smaller number
of American gun owners.
Those gun owners tend to live in swing states, explained Lizotte.
"You can see where [the
gun debate plays out] in the presidential election," said Lizotte.
"Where rural states are swing states and urban states are not."
Hey! Wasn't that theater a gun free zone?
Texas is a swing state? Oh yeah King Putt told the libs it was when he came here begging for money.
Still, while it is possible to collect accurate data on the number of
guns in the United States using manufacturing, import-export and
life-cycle data for the guns, the federal government has little idea of
who the guns owners are, gun policy experts said.
BULLSHIT!!!!!one!!!!
I'm fixing to pick up a new Henry this week-end and the .GOV will know EVERYTHING about the rifle and me. Then that record will go somewhere that it's not supposed to go, so the .GOV can confiscate it when the time is right and say "Oops, my bad- we didn't destroy the records like the we were legally required to do.
Now in the same vein of journalistic purity of spirit, have some self portraits.
Just remember what has been seen cannot be unseen.

Whoa, Valerie- lets back the soul train up
So Valerie Jarrett writes a piece of propaganda for the White House and her puppet who signed that Executive Order about a black education bureaucracy.
The President has made it a top priority to provide a complete and competitive education for all Americans – from cradle to career. The White Housebureaucracy Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans, created by this Executive Order, will work across Federal bureaucracies agencies and with partners and communities nationwide to produce a more effective continuum of education bureaucracies programs for African American students. The initiative aims to ensure that all African American students receive an education that fully prepares them for high school graduation, college completion, and productive careers.
Just like we've been telling you we're going to do for the last 50 years.
In the nearly 60 years since the Brown v.Board of Education decision put America on a path toward equal educational opportunity, America’s educational system has undergone a remarkable transformation. Many African American children who attended substandard, segregated schools in the 1950s have grown up to see their children attend integrated and effective elementary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
(and those blacks in segregated schools could read and do higher math as well as understand the scientific method)
Nonetheless, substantial obstacles to equal educational opportunity still remain in America’s school systems. Disproportionately, students of color, including African Americans, lag in equal access to highly effective teachers and principals, safe schools, and challenging college-preparatory classes. And they experience school discipline and referrals to special education at higher rates than their peers.
Umm- Ok Val you got us there.
Is this new bureaucracy of yours going to try to do anything about that whole "Acting white" thing when black kids actually TRY to learn anything?
What about that whole single mother, welfare dependency, gangbanging attitude? Or is that another Presidential Order to start another Federal bureaucracy?

Unrelated thoughts
- The TX electrical reliability council has warned that with the Obama EPA coal fired powerplant chopping ax happening next year and the increase in population- that there would probably be (even more) rolling black-outs in the future..........there are suddenly no generators or motor-driven arc welders available in the SA craigslist.
- I've always had a very low tolerance for stupidity. I see Agirls husband does, too. I was going to leave this on my FB page, but decided to let you in on a part of my life at that sekrit AFB in San Antonio.
Last Weds they were told to clean off the ends of the pipe that got buried by the last rain- there were four ends going to two different trenches. On one of them, I was digging a 12'x12'x12' hole for a vault.
I had to tell them four times to go work on the other ones while I had that hole open-
Can you believe I had to tell those stupid f*cks to move the ladder?
- We had to get rid of some matting on the house-tribbles chest and pits with a petclippers. In the process I noticed we ended up cutting some of her whiskers. She doesn't seem to mind, but I'm wondering if they grow back?
Thanks to BFH for the IOtW-lanch.

So I took off Thursday to vote
It was a runoff election between a Tea Party Conservative and the RINO David Dewhurst.
After voting I had to take this picture showing what was prohibited from the polling place in Medina County, TX less than a week after the Aurora shootings.
Ya, cell phones!
Eat it hoplophobes.

I took off yesterday to vote and still got 56 hours, but I guess digging a trench is more important than presidenting.

Davit Dewhurst can't even make a good attack ad
Listening to that middle school script attacking Ted Cruz for US Senator yesterday morning decided me to take off today so I could be sure to vote against him and David Wentworth.
Badly written and read attack ads work- but they work the wrong way with me.

The NCAA hammered Penn State
I'm hearing two things about it.
It was wayyy to hard-
and
Tough, F-them they deserve it.
The ones that are saying it was way to harsh, and is punishing the innocent students- Hey the NCAA is a bunch of Liberal academics who believe the punishment should fit thecrime political ideals of the current PC protected class.
What I'm not hearing is the same cries of "it hurts the people not involved...who didn't have anything to do with it!" when the PO-Po come breaking down the wrong door at 3AM shooting the dogs and the homeowner...then having the taxpayers picking up the tab.
Or am I off base there?

35 hours on the clock since Sunday
I could take off about 11:30 tomorrow, but they authorized OT for this last week.
I don't know how much I want, because right now five days off sound good-
But so does lots of extra cash...
Except, like I told the boss- the more you make, the more they take out (which is why I wish they'd let us bank hours)
Anyway this is what I had running through my mind today:

No ice cream today
I'm working.
Go let the .GOV help you build something.
UPDATE-
I'm getting to old to be working 10 1/2 hour days in this heat.
i finished off a half gallon of Sunny-D in the 20 minutes it took to get home from the Wally-World I had to stop at for iguana chow.
We're working tomorrow because we hit a mis-marked gas line and we lost about two hours for the Lackland finest to find us (on one of the main streets) and shut off the gas so we could keep working.
Tomorrow we're going to try finishing what we didn't today.

Your choice
Truth to power.
Biting the hand that feeds you.
More realistic battle scenes than we get nowadays.
The Battle of Culloden on Netflix.
And the way our British overlords helped to ensure a free America...because we didn't want the benevolent attentions of the Crown going after our families.
AND how lucky we are that we had our military leader based on ability than royalty.
UPDATE:
"Braveheart:" it's not.
UPDATE II...
Wow, Bonnie Prince Charlie lead the Scots rebels like someone else I can think of once he was defeated...
Umm..haven't I heard that before that 'Bonnie Prince Charles Bravely runs away"?

Fun with cats
Get one fat house-tribble.
Rile her up by playing with her feet and back toes until she's growling.
Set her on the desk near the edge.
Let the stoopid puppy from hell start wanting to play with her.
Watch and laugh as stoopid puppy from hell gets repeatedly swatted with vengeance.
