Bye Freddy

Who were You thinking of?

His major break...

...and his versatility

Long day

Up at 3:30 AM this morning because of personnel problems and scheduleing conflicts.
Worked till 2:30PM (I could legally have worked till 6:30 'cause it's local driving) but had a Dr. appt. for the shoulder, still waiting on something to happen on that front.

We tried to install a USB WiFi antenna to the 18 yr-old's E-machine,,, it just wouldn't take, so I ended up at Best Buy for 50' of Cat6 cable. It should work out better anyway- just unplug it from the router when necessary.

A .22 would work too

In case you hadn't heard, Monday is "National Feral Cat Day."

Just so you can appreciate unbridled breeding of a predator species.

And- since it's like a Greenie thing, it's naturally not the entire truth...

National Feral Cat Day on Monday marks the beginning of what Molina and other feral cat advocates hope will be a year filled with public education and aggressive animal sterilization.

Every city and town in Flagler County proclaimed the national day this year. The proclamations are meant to encourage communities to learn about trapping, sterilizing and then releasing feral cats to control populations.

~snip~

Molina hopes to raise money to open a permanent spaying and neutering clinic in Flagler County and to hold mobile clinics throughout the area.

She said there are at least 1,000 stray and feral cats in Flagler County, and in such a fastest-growing county the colonies may also grow.

And where there's a feral colony, dumped strays may follow.

The difference between a feral cat and a stray is that a feral cat hasn't had the human socialization of a pet. Strays may let you walk up to them and pet them, Molina said, but ferals never will.
Like I said.... a .22 is alot faster and cheaper.
But lets go on...

While Wilson would support a trapping and neutering policy for population control, leaving cats outdoors to hunt concerns her. She said she preferred releasing cats into an enclosed setting, and she knew a woman who used an enclosed atrium-like facility for four feral cats.

Molina said hunting is often brought up by bird advocates, but she feels diminishing bird populations are a result of development, not territorial cats that leave a scent.
Ummmmmm, lady- cat's don't 'scent' where they hunt.

She said the society gets flack for not trapping feral cats fast enough and the biggest problem with ferals is that they're in places where they're not wanted, like next to stores and restaurants. She said by state law, colony caretakers are required to recapture and revaccinate feral cats. Some do it once every year or three years, she said, and some caregivers eventually abandon the colonies.
Like I said,,,22 shorts.

Kinda cool...

...in about 30 seconds.

Looks like I made a $70 mistake

Our Logitech Clicksmart 510 stopped working the other day, all I see is three lines in the menu box.

We just got a $180 Nikon and the Picture Project software SUCKS! Plus it (the cam) doesn't come with a mike, so any video we do get is silent.

I decided to bid on this at e-bay after not finding any reviews for Silicone Valley Periphreals. THEN I found this wonderful forum about SVP on CNET.

Ok, it's not the first money mistake I've made- it just comes at a bad time.
This is one of the few times I hope someone outbids me-

Go bid, put down $50.01 on this wonderful and compact DVD camcorder!

Blogrolling has been FUBARed for the last several days

And knowing the way our new masters at GOOGLE work, they probably bought it (it they didn't already own it) and are making it "better".

"Better" in that it will be the way they think it should be, not the way you and your unenlightened non-Liberal @ss wants it to be. There'll be one or two mods you can make, but you won't be able to do a whole lot to personalize it.

Kinda like the big government the Libs love so much..."We're GOOGLE and were here to make life simpler for you."

All I can say to this is WTF?

I know, I said I was going to stop linking to No Jew You-Tube, but someone commented on my Colt video, and I just HAD to click on this in the *next* link.

I think my problems with loading might be coming from Firefox, so I downloaded Opera.
It works alot faster, but won't let me modify it like I want.
It figures because it's a GOOGLE product, too. It knows better how I should have my browser working than I do, because it's *liberal-built*. So inspite of the fact that it 's faster, I'll be uninstalling it and looking for something a little less......all encompassing.

I've mentioned this before

But I'm sure glad I'm not working there anymore.
I should have listened to my "danger radar" and not blown off the little things people said when I was going through the hiring process.

Because the town just Luuuuvs it's politics, infighting and one upsmanship.
It's also very clannish with the two most powerful families having a family tree that looks like a Century plant without the sprouts on top.

I decided to leave when I wanted to, not when it was politically expedient that I not be working there any longer.

BTW- they're looking for a Gas/Electrical Foreman again....

Just thought I'd toss that out if anyone's stupid adventurous enough to try for it.

Quick question for you Army/A.F. guys

I was over here, and he mentioned "Retreat" sounding.

Is that like evening "Colors" in the Navy where the flag comes down?
Why would anyone who's been in more than 3 months go outside when they KNOW they'll get ...caught..... in the 'respect'thang.

I know it's only like 45 seconds, but, but still it gets real old real fast.

Same thing at 8 AM when the flag goes up. I was usually on something loud, so we couldn't hear that.

As a side note- letting you know just HOW the people of Rhode Island appreciate the military:
I overheard two people talking at a grorcery store on Portsmouth, R.I.

1st guy: I live in Newport and my neighbors are really patritotic.
2nd guy: Oh, really? Why?
1st guy: Every day at 8Am amd sundown they play "The star spangled Banner."
2nd guy: You idiot, that's the Navy base.

Are the chickens coming home to roost?

Remember how we (the Bush regime specifically) are were getting beat-up about out "Unilateral" invasion of Iraq?
How we went ahead and just up and invaded on our own?
Both the Dems amd the rest of the world were dumping on our "Unilateral" action. It made absolutly NO difference that we had 72 other countries involved.

After dumping on America for going after Saddam because the U.N. fell down on the job (again), North Korea is in the news.

Isn't John F*ing Kerry and the rest of the Communists Democrat party the ones who are always telling us we need to get the world involved n solving problems?
The U.N. didn't like our "unilateral" problem solving in Iraq.

NOW, according to the Thief-in-chief of the U.N.~ America is supposed to dump the OTHER four countries involved in the NorK talks and set ourselves up for the target when the talks fail yet again.

WHY would we do that Koffi? We get enough of your chit every time we do your job for you.
You've proved just how incompitent the entire U.N. mission is by your toothless resolutions sanctions and "punishments".
Are you ever going to do ANYTHING (exept the usual mismanagement) about Dafur? Maybe you've heard of it, it's been going on for some time now. Somalia? Oh, moslems-right don't want to piss off the "religion of piss, do we?

Is it Blogger this time?

AGAIN?
Or is it Blogrolling that's having fits?

I'm sure it's not my newly rebooted hard drive, since my laptop is showing the same lack of blogrolling links. It's also not showing *my* links ~so it must be Blogger again.

I guess our masters at GOOGLE are tweeking something again.

And speaking of Liberal monopolies- didja hear that GOOGLE bought-up NoJew You-tube? No wonder they were surpressing Pro-American videos. They wanted the Libs at GOOGLE to know that they had absolutely NO problem wiith advancing Islamo-fascism and Liberal ideology at the expense of freedom of expression.

Like a bad penny, she shows up again

The "runawy bride" Jennifer Wilbanks is back in the news.

Along with her ex, and- naturally her bottom feeding shyster lawyer.

She wants a cool half million from her ex fiancee because she hasn't cost him enough for supposedly defrauding her while she was on meds -and NO,not for her eyes.

Supposedly he negotiated a book deal and bought a house with his half, and booted her when he finally got tired of being the town laughing stock her chit.
Well, apparently in her all seeing eyes, she hasn't cost him enough money or pride, yet- and wants to see how much more his bank account can stand.

Jennifer Willbanks, she'll keep her eyes peeled for anything worth snatching.
You go girl, make him hurt where it really counts, and then demand even more money.

P.S. Jen, when are the rest of your people going to visit earth?

I keep hearing these commercials about asset protection

You know- "protect your assets from the looming financial disaster by invesing in GOLD bullion."

Iv'e always had some questions about that. Like to start, if they send you some kind of ownership certificate- how do you *know* its worth any more than the paper it's printed on? How do you trade n the paper for the gold- normally?

If the SHtF, how are you supposed to get the gold when the entire infrastructure is broken down? Drive up to NYC with no cash-well money would be worthless anyway, right? That's why you're heading to NYC to try to pick up your gold, right?

If th SHtF and civilization collapes, wouldn't something else be a little better to barter with than gold? Lets say, some good knives, or a good stash of FOOD? I think I'd rather shoot a deer or pig and barter for veggies or whiskey than gold untill some kind of order surfaces. I can barter my skills - making electricity, and simple electric components, metal workand carpentry for needfull things- beer and clothing.

The thing is, I really don't think that the appocoalyps is going to bring civilizatio crashing down abut out ears.
Not even the Bush doctrin of unrestricted illegal immigration would cause the catostrophic implosion. A quick decline into second or thirdworld status maybe, with the requisite dishonest poitions--Oh, wait we have alot of those already in D.C.

Just a quick footbal update

Houston didn't lose today!

The only reason was that they had a bye this week.

The Crown Vic

Does any other car scream "I'm a cop" like the legacy Police interceptor?
Just coming up on one on thre highway will make you lift your foot a little-0r it should.

I came up on one today on the way home from work, all black with several antennas; but it didn't look right. As I came up on it, I saw the toys in the back and a carrier behind grandpaw. Ok back to cruising speed of XX a little above the speed limit.

I understand why a civilian would want a (literally) bullet proof car with lots of room and the power to get somewhere, but DAYM- can't you buy a Suburban?

Did the Democrats know this was going to happen?

Is that why the border fence passed by a 60 vote margin in the senate?

Just to let you know, el Presidente Bush still hasn't signed the bill. Two more days makes it a pocket veto.
You know, so no-one can say he vetoed the bill. If that happens I pity the poor fools who think there'll be a larg (if any) Republican majority in the Senate.
Does Bush really think he can keep lying to the 80% who want a secure border and still keep from getting Nancy Pelosi as Speaker?

As if the Senate hasn't done enough to chit where they eat, as far as rewarding lawbreakers, now their part leader is going to effectivly cancel the little backbone that the Senate has shown.

Where are politicians who want to defend whats left of the best of America?
It hasn't been in the Democratic party in a decade, and the Republican party is running away from American values as fast as they can.

Tell me why I should even bother to vote?

Texas weather for tonight

Moon lit with clouds that kinda look like an ice flow

Yes Rhianna, that's a Mesquite tree.

So Microsoft, how does it feel to be just like America?

In the "just can't do anything right" department?
Microsoft is coming out with it's Vista OS soon, and trying to make it more secure.
They're even asking hackers for help.

And they're trying to incorporate additional security measures in a "all in one" kind of package- which doesn't sit well with the security companies.

Integrating tighter security features into the new OS seems a logical step, but is it fair?

The European Union has already voiced concern that by including features traditionally bought from independent suppliers, Microsoft is being anti-competitive.

John Viega from McAfee also seems to think so: "I think it's pretty unfortunate that Microsoft is here to cosy up to the security industry when they're working so hard to lock security vendors off their platform.

"With Vista, their new operating system, they're trying to keep vendors off by putting security technologies on that ensure that they have control over who can offer protection and who can't."

Well, I guess when you get big enough, all your friends get jelous, and start begrudging you your succes.

Try again

Let's see how long THIS stays on E-bay.

How about I-film?

My "test" of these video sharing sites is to search for "Iraq" and see what kind of representation I see.

Here is an example of the majority there, and the obvious pro-leftst vids get bad ratings.

As I look for a replacemant for NoJew Tube You-tube.

You just GOTTA love Liberals

I put an auction on e-bay for a bobbin lace pillow holder. Yeah, it's not macho- but if I could sell some it would REALLY help in the ambulance bill department.

Anyway- I put it up and ask for the sliding postage thingy plus $2 for S & H.
Not too bad- for driving to the Post office and dropping it off.

I got a message from E-bay telling me they pulled the auction for ***Evading E-Bay fees***
Because, according to them:

Dear kangroo78656,

Thank you for your recent auction-style listing. You listed the following:

While I'm waiting for the link to open

Let me take a wild @ssed guess and say that the Prince is a moslimb.

OOOPs, I was wrong.
It was the "other" Prince.

Gee I don't know WHY I'd think a muhammadine would want to visit a strip-joint and force his opinions on other patrons.

And in other, not so important news (because it didn't happen in NYC or California)- downtown Houston lost power this morning untill about 10 AM.

You may now go back to trying to ignore Hurricane Tropical Storm Foley.

Google ads

They certainly have their spybots working on their sites, don't they?

Guess where I was in my gmail when I got a link to this recipe.

It looks like You-Tube is really showing it's @ss

Michell Malkin- who is a woman of color (Asian brown) , and worse of all- a conservative shares a blog with Allah (who's not in the house anymore) is getting her account pulled fromYou-Tube for being unfriendly to Islamic Terrorists.
So is My Pet Jawa.

I'm looking for somewhere that's not bigotted against pro-America, and not so Leftist that they revolk your account because Islime-O-fasiests don't like what you're saying.

I found this DV Guru site with a comparison of ten differentvideo sharing sites.
I'll be looking at them and trying to see which--if any are conservative friendly, because it seems that all the good and popular cr@p is run by Leftwing lunatic-saviants.

(UPDATE)
Ruty has a scoop on the new official policy over at You-Tube.

I'll be referring to their new name in future posts.

I'm just bursting with questions today

Like:
  • If the NorKs are still threatening to test their nukes, WHY are their fcilities still standing?
  • This article reminds me to ask, if we can -NOT- give Federal fundsa to cllleges who refuse access to Military recruiters, why can we -NOT- give funding to "sanctuary cities"?
  • If a dog is licking out a plate, and can't see where the stuck-on food is, how can they go directly to that spot for more attention?
  • Why is Paris Hilton so popular? Is it anything besides being famous for being rich and famous?
  • Why do sane people still live in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Californistan?
  • If the Paleostinians have been fighting amongst themselves for like 4 days and there are only 25 killed or injured, why don't we airdrop some instructions on how to actually AIM a rifle?
  • Condi, why do we want to waste anymore taxpayers money on the Paleostinians? oh, that's right it's only TAXPAYERS money.
  • If 9 out of 10 workers have the same SSI number, wouldn't you suspect that something was wrong there and not hire them? I wouldn't, but then again I didn't graduate from a business college, either.
More as I think of them,,,,,,,

Are you eye glazingly numbed with the Foley thing yet?

I've got some questions that haven't been answered yet by the Media Echo-Spin Machine, ok?

Now that I've finally figured out that it was real IMs- as opposed to text messages;

I haven't yet heard how the Dems got IMs that were what, five years old? Did one of them save their side? Was it on a Government computer server that automatically archives anything? Did the Libs running AOL, Yahoo, MSN, or the other IMs dig it up on their own as a gift to their fellow travelers in D.C?

If the Republicans came out with this. Instead of a rush off the cliff, the Dems would phananx-up to defend their perv and start demanding to know how the information came to light. It happend about a year ago, but I can't remember the names or exact circumstance.

Ok, Foley was having cyber-sex with a 16 year-old male page. In D.C. that's the age of consent- AND I'd like to remind you it was CYBERSEX not the real touchy-feely kind.
As a matter of fact, lets go back to the LAST time a Congressman had a REAL homosexual liasion with a page:

Studds faced controversy in 1983 when one of his former pages revealed that he had had a sexual relationship with the congressman some ten years earlier. During the course of the House Ethics Committee's investigation, Studds publicly acknowledged his homosexuality, a disclosure that, according to an article in the Washington Post, "apparently was not news to many of his constituents."

In an address to the House, Studds stated, "It is not a simple task for any of us to meet adequately the obligations of either public or private life, let alone both, but these challenges are made substantially more complex when one is, as I am, both an elected public official and gay."

The House voted to censure Studds in July 1983. Although there was some adverse reaction in his district, a poll of registered voters conducted by the Quincy, Massachusetts Patriot Ledger revealed that 65 percent favored his remaining in office while only 28 percent thought that he should resign and 7 percent expressed no opinion.

Returned to Congress by his constituents in 1984
,,,

And I'd like to remind you that that was before we had the loose morals we have today, thanks to the Gay/Lesbian actavists involved in "normalizing" homosexuality.

So, can we get those Liberal attack dogs to STFup already.

Hypocracy, thy name is Democrat.

(UPDATE) Out of curiosity, WHO were you IMing and what were you saying in 2001 that you might like to keep from the public airwaves?

Tuesday, October 03, 2006

Anyone out there getting tired of the Foley hypocracy?

You know, the pot calling the kettle black, and all.

Here's something literary for y'all:

The End of the Raven

by Edgar Allen Poe's Cat

On a night quite unenchanting, when the rain was downward slanting,
I awakened to the ranting of the man I catch mice for.
Tipsy and a bit unshaven, in a tone I found quite craven,
Poe was talking to a Raven perched above the chamber door.
"Raven's very tasty," thought I, as I tiptoed o'er the floor,
"There is nothing I like more"

Soft upon the rug I treaded, calm and careful as I headed
Towards his roost atop that dreaded bust of Pallas I deplore.
While the bard and birdie chattered, I made sure that nothing clattered,
Creaked, or snapped, or fell, or shattered, as I crossed the corridor;
For his house is crammed with trinkets, curios and wierd decor --
Bric-a-brac and junk galore.

Still the Raven never fluttered, standing stock-still as he uttered,
In a voice that shrieked and sputtered, his two cents' worth --
"Nevermore."

While this dirge the birdbrain kept up, oh, so silently I crept up,
Then I crouched and quickly lept up, pouncing on the feathered bore.
Soon he was a heap of plumage, and a little blood and gore --
Only this and not much more.

"Oooo!" my pickled poet cried out, "Pussycat, it's time I dried out!
Never sat I in my hideout talking to a bird before;
How I've wallowed in self-pity, while my gallant, valiant kitty
Put and end to that damned ditty" -- then I heard him start to snore.
Back atop the door I clambered, eyed that statue I abhor,
Jumped -- and smashed it on the floor.

I wonder what happened to Forneus?

It seems that he either was playing with some html in his blogads, or some druge site put a redirect on his site.
Everytime I click on him in blogroll, I get sent to a perscription drug page.
My navigation bar says I'm at his site, but the status bar says I'm at the other site.

I looked at the page source, and found a redirect from his site- but I know just a little bit more than jack-chit about coding.

Hey Forneus- drop me a comment.
