We know that Obowma is going to have to find a way to pay for his titanic government spending.

He's looking at all kinds of fees and new tax schemes. The problem with those is that there probably aren't enough qualified people to do the ,,,revenue enhancement.

Because "something" needs to be done about this second huge island of plastic they found in the Atlantic ocean. Let those greenies put their money where their mouths are and start cleaning it up- they've got a couple ships, and it would probably help the whales more than harassing Japanese whalers anyway. I'm sure once this is out in the general news, that all the usual Gaea worshipers (EarthFirst, Elf, the World Wildlife Fund,,,)will turn out in force to mitigate this blight on the earth.

The second title was that "something" needs to be done about it. Some .gov.org should take charge and use their nations resources to make it happen- Obowma is looking for something to polish his creds with our enemies. Why not throw a couple trillion dollars at it, AND since it's already been made- we can save millions of barrels of oil by recycling the existing plastic instead of MAKING more.

That tendon I tore two months ago is still bothering me from last Friday when I broke the light duty restriction and was wrestling with a sweep 4" steel ninety.

Yesterday was a long day too. I was moving equipment and picking up irrigation pipe for the bosses ranch making a 13 hour day by the time it was all done.

I'm off today because of weather and the gaf attitude, but that's ok since I'll be getting workers comp for missed work. It's nice....and tax free for now.

I still have to finish those f*cking tax forms...and find a way to come up with that $2200 they want on top of what we already put in.

The yard looks like it hasn't seen a mower in a month altho I mowed it a week ago.

It was one of those moments

That I really wanted to say "now Obama's done something I can applaud".

But I wondered, *why*? Why is he doing this; because he's always wanted us to pay out the @ss for any kind of energy.

I wondered 'those drilling areas...do they even have any oil in them?'
-NO, they don't.

I asked myself 'He said *drill* not pump...does that mean just exploration?'
- IF the .energy.gov signs off on exploratory wells AND the greenies and other enviro-wackjobs ok it- then you can try drilling where we know there isn't any'

I wondered why he was being so magnanimous?
-It was one of those "I'll throw those peons a bone. It'll be a finger bone from a shrew, but hey-I won, they should feel honored (and hopefully) grateful that I bothered to wave my hand in their general direction on energy."

Here we have another go at amnesty, in the framing of "fairness" to the kids of illegals.

I heard this sob story on WOAI this morning, about college grads of illegals not being able to get a job.
And MALDEF wants us to give them a pass.

Here's my take.

My first thought was that we've been paying for her foe her entire life. We paid for her birth all the way through her instate tuition for her two graduate degrees.
Then I remembered- If she was born in the U.S.- she's be a citizen, and that would deflate that heart string chord.

So, what we have is someone who's PARENTS came over with their kids.
Got taxpayer medical, education, probably food stamps, WIC, AFDC, Free school lunches (and breakfast), whatever else Govt' sponsored goodies they enjoyed.

Then she got in state tuition, cheap books, .gov sponsored housing (besides the Sect. 8 she enjoyed while growing up) and Gawd knows what else we paid for.

Now MALdef wants us to GIVE her citizenship.


What I want to know, is that she's obviously in her mid 20's- WHY didn't her parents do something about their (and their kids) legal status?
I mean, it's not like nobody was talking about the illegal problem in the '80s and '90s and even the last ten years.

Why should I be guilted into supporting amnesty when I'm on the hook for over $3500+ in getting the wife and her daughters their green cards...LEGALLY?
