Modern History TV is a modern Knight- I guess who kind of lives the life and explains things. Here he is with an unnamed choppy-thing in sword-like form. While he's riffing about why there may not be any modern representatives in museums........ which makes sense.
Introducing the aptly named (by commenters) "Choppy-boy".
The Lefts most favored presidential hopeful to take out OrangeManBad.
That's right Michael Avenatti- who everyone wanted to see take on Trump (because he talked bad about him) since he was representing a porn star got sentenced for trying to shake down Nike.
The heroes of the Left leave something to be desired......
Now I need to find which of the three new mags work best to fill it out.
We were going to sight them both in on a holiday created by their great grandparents, but it's looking a little Guam-ish. Except that it's clouded all over instead of just where the downpour is...
Yeah, we've got some problems. But we got through the last anti-American, we should get through this one and hopefully real Americans will take off the cruise control and start driving again.
When Rush died and they had all the different hosts trying to keep him relevant- I was getting tried of it.
Now they've copied the newest thing on talk radio- multiple hosts talking at each other. I guess it could work in a nice quiet office area, but in a truck they sound like they're talking over each other.
Which is the reason I don't listen to KTSA in the mid-morning with the three guys talking over each other or another station that does the same thing.
If you're going that rout, st least have tow guys that don't sound the same- maybe see what they sound like in a noisy truck driving down the road.
I quit listening the the new Rush Limaugh Show last week and I wonder who else did.
Since I had a couple weeks break because of microsoft (Fuck You very much -again) I decided to move to Mondays to maybe glom onto other blogs Rule 5 round-ups.
This one is an oldie, but goodie. She's the hot chick in Mad Max wearing the football pads.
I started bringing pictures over and trying to put then into folders.
Jezus Kerist! Can't you fuckers leave anything alone? I tried to make a folder for the girls and it went to somewhere that tried turning them into a video that I can't delete.
I think I made a file, but can't find the fucking thing.
What's it like saving pics and putting them into files with Mint?
After the storms coming through- straight line winds during a hail storm, which knocked over one of the 50' Post oaks.
We were intermittently without power almost all day.
I'm now on a Lenovo WIN10--which completely sucks. I can't do anything without having to make a windows account- fuck you very much Bill Gates. I'd include a picture of the said tree, but I can't add pictures to my picture folder without fucking making a microsoft account. . Fuck you very much Microsquish.
I learned my lesson on the last computer, so I've been trying to download a restore flash drive for the last . FOUR FUCKING HOURS.
I'm able to get to gmail with some of my links and it's 1847 now (6:47PM for you unfamiliar with real operating time) and haven't been on FB all day.
As of now, it's been over four hours and the bar says it's still got 33% more to go.
I'm going to go digging back through the posts and find the one with all the Linux suggestions- I need to buy another flash drive for that,,,, so tomorrow.
EDIT TO ADD- The reason I had to go was the old one was getting really glitchy and the repeated outages must have been enough to knock out the internet part. Everything else was able to connect. So I replaced it with this Lenovo from the bottom shelf that I bought several weeks ago just because I knew this was coming.
Now that I'm at least able to surf the net, I can't get this fucking thing to recognize when I put a CD full of pictures in. It opens and downloads to the laptop in WIN7.
I wonder how many of my younger readers (if I have any) understands what that means.
This isn't about taking opportunities while you can, it's about hay bales.
With the alternating downpours and droughts we've had this last year, there's been a hard time finding hay- round bales especially. The donkeys are hungry and broke into the storage area to eat the oldest s box of saved books and they're starting to strip bark off the younger mesquite trees.
SO... I was supposed to pick up a round bale today, but the thunderstorm we had last night made it too muddy for him to get to them today. Maybe tomorrow.
So I bought three square bales. for 7 donkeys and two horses.
Six donkey decided they were going to share one bale when Lottie saw an open one..... Then there's Clementine who has to be different.
That green you see is mostly pigweed and not forage.
"The law would — among other changes — make mail-in voting more difficult
by requiring voters to give extra information, bar local officials from
sending absentee ballot applications to anyone who did not request one,
and end after-hours and drive-through voting."
And as usual from the stories Newsmax uses, it's completely slanted to the left.
Inland M1 carbine barrel date of 9-1942 with all the correct stamping on the stock and metal (that I can see). Had some FtFeed from the mag he supplied- which looked brand new, so it'll need some wearing in.
The horses and donkeys weren't impressed...
AND- since I can only find ball ammo right now, I'm going to need st get a reloading set-up so I can make bullets like Extreme Cavitator I ran across. I wonder if it's patented? Probably. Maybe I can take a wedge out of the side so it...'bends' when it hits and get a tumbling action from that...
On a Friday again because I'm out on Workers Comp with a thumb injury and am starting to lose track of days... instead of having my days and hours mixed up because of my work schedule.
I'm sure you've noticed this phenomenon before....
Smoke Theory of Electronic Devices
Introduction-
From the basic concept of transmission of electrical energy in the form of smoke, a better understanding of the mysteries of electrical components, especially those manufactured by Lucas, a British manufacturer, is provided.
Theory of smoke-
Smoke is the thing that makes electrical circuits work; we know this to be true because every time one lets the smoke out of an electrical system, it stops working. This has been verified repeatedly through empirical testing by countless EE212 students. When, for example, the smoke escapes from an electrical component (i.e., say, a Lucas voltage regulator or a 741 Op Amp), it will be observed that the component stops working. The function of the wire harness is to carry the smoke from one device to another; when the wire harness "springs a leak", it lets all the smoke out of the system. Once this happens, nothing works afterwards. For example, starter motors were frowned upon in British automobiles for many years, largely because they consume large quantities of smoke, requiring very large wires.
Conclusion
It has been noted that Lucas components are possibly more prone to electrical leakage than either Bosch or generic Japanese electrics. Experts point out that this is because Lucas is British and all things British leak. British engines leak oil, shock absorbers, hydraulic forks and disk brakes leak fluid, British tyres leak air, and the British defense establishment leaks secrets...so, naturally, British electrics leak smoke.
Tradition has it that it was the tune the Brits played at the surrender at Yorktown.
But when shit happens, it can be as quick and unexpected as a pipeline getting hacked.
The Colonial pipeline put almost 1/4 of the country on -at least- limited supplies of gasoline (why it affected airliners using Kerosene I don't know) and showed how some people act.
They probably stored that excess gas with their horde of TP.
OR a shut down of an entire world because of an overhyped virus.
We're stocking up on food
We have well water- need a generator to supply it (we're working on that) We don't really use enough gas to have a tank in the yard
Shortages and disruptions are still happening because of lingering affects from the shutdown.
People still are not going to work because the .GOV is paying them not to with our tax Dollars.
Supplies are still on back order- which is changing the dynamics of everything, including used pickups. I was starting to look for one about halfway into the plandemic shutdown, but decided to wait a while. Then I watched the prices rise as the new truck shortage went on............ because of a chip shortage.
Now I'm seeing the prices of 3/4 ton trucks where I wouldn't pay if there were half the miles on them.
SO............. I'm thinking hard at a restomod. If I have to pay that much for a used truck, why not got with something with style? I can get a '64 C-10 or 72 F-100 or even a 78 Dodge for less (nothing is cheap anymore) and throw in a crate motor and 5 speed manual -with modern conveniences for a little more than the going price of a 2500 Silverado with 140K miles on it.
