Wherein the author causes Apoplexy in every Liberal that sees this posting.

Where we have a typical whitewash of immigration problems by the AP.

Like most U.S. towns, Watsonville has been formed by waves of immigrants, Croats, Portuguese, Filipinos and Japanese, each arriving with their own language, customs and cuisine. The current surge of Hispanics has brought a Latin American influence.

"For me, downtown Watsonville is like being in a small Mexican town," said Oscar Rios, who was Watsonville's first Latino mayor. "Everyone speaks Spanish. The restaurants are Mexican. It's got a very different feel than a traditional American town."
..... Today, 82 percent are either immigrants, or descendants of immigrants, mostly from Mexico but also elsewhere in Latin America.

Yeah, no shit- and probably half of them are illegal.

Nahara Villalobos, 17, who will be a senior at Watsonville High School this fall, is determined to move up, educationally and economically. Her parents immigrated to California from Mexico about 25 years ago. Her father works on a mushroom farm and her mother is a housewife, caring for Nahara's disabled older sister.

Although she was born in the U.S., Nahara didn't learn English well until she was 9, and to this day she acts as her family translator at doctor appointments, signing leases, filling out contracts and tax forms.

When her family moved onto an all-white block five years ago, it was Nahara who had to explain to her father that neighbors were asking if he was an ex-con, and her mother if she was the housecleaner.

"You wouldn't believe the way the neighbors treated us," she said
.
So- you're telling me that your parents and the rest of your family have been here for a QUARTER of a CENTURY, and haven't learned English yet.
Are they too stupid, lazy or just don't need to because Liberals are making it so Balkanized that they don't have to even talk to an Anglo/Gring if they don't want to.
An ex-con? I wonder what kind of tats he is wearing?

BUT, wait- something good is on the way....

Hurst said many residents appreciate the Latino influence. "I think a lot of people would like to put the differences of race on the back burners and focus more on economic opportunity and celebrate the diversity of cultures that exist," he said.
As generations pass, towns like Watsonville will become more Americanized, but at the same time some parts of Mexican culture are already weaving into the U.S. fabric, said University of California, Irvine sociologist Susan Brown.
She points to salsa, which long ago surpassed ketchup as the nation's leading condiment. And Brown said American icons like hot dogs and hamburgers are actually the legacy of a wave of more than 5 million German immigrants more than a century ago.
"This Mexican wave is a big group," said Brown, "but we forget that a huge, huge number of Germans came, and we've absorbed them."

maybe you Liberals can start putting race on the back burner because I'm getting tired of having it thrown in my face for everything.
But...GERMANS gave us hot dogs and hamburgers :-) ...They also buckled down and actively tried to become assimilated into America.

So, who's been in my servers memory?

You'd think the .GOV would at least leave me logged into my usual sites.
I gad to re-log in to every site that needs a password this morning.

SO- in that spirit NSA- my Christmas swag:
Ruger Security six in .357, S&W Bodyguard in .38+P but you already know about them -including the serial numbers. Then we have the Dremmel for making things fit on the one you don't know about.

For the fuck-sake DeeCee get out of our lives!

We don't need you fucking trying to tell a billion Dollar business how to take care of their customers.

Maybe you need to look closer to home trying to fix that $15 trillion well of red ink you've caused and leave Fe-UPS alone.

And yes, he is a Democrat.

A job well done

Merry Christmas to you all!

And don't celebrate too hard.

Who knows where the camera is?

A Christmas greeting from someone who understands

How I wish we had people like him in DeeCee.

Blanket, wet...

THROW!

Just....WOW.....

So farging clueless on both sides of this article begging to be snarked.

About "Angry white men holding Hte iWON back.

"...US left’s difficulties reflect the faults of the people in the White House, the ferocity of their well-funded rightwing opposition, or some combination of the two."

Dude! That ferocity is from the RINOs who ball-up into a fetal position after some half-hearted attemt at dammage control and let you Liberals have their way in Congress.

" Activists and public intellectuals have provided a push from below – and from the bookstores. But Mr Obama has received relatively little assistance of this kind (Occupy Wall Street came and went, kids). There has been no Martin Luther King to his Lyndon Johnson, no John Maynard Keynes to his Franklin Roosevelt."

Keerist guy- you have the entire news media pulling for you . Pluss the entire Hollywood machine working on your side, how much more help do you think you need?

"Kimmel’s starting point is a familiar one on the left. He believes that many downwardly mobile white men are rightfully angry but blame the wrong kinds of people (blacks, Jews, women and homosexuals) for their problems. To this, he adds a gender studies spin: Much of the white male anger stems from a failure to appreciate that feminism liberates men as well as women –"

And here we get them confusing Liberals with Conservatives, and not for the last time.

"Moreover, the deeper Kimmel goes into these hearts of darkness, the more likely he is to get lost. In a paragraph suggesting that both campus cultures and global media play a role in school shootings by angry boys, Kimmel’s sentences twist and turn so relentlessly that the reader is left bobbing in the stream of his consciousness, struggling for breath."

See what I mean about swapping Liberal and Conservative places? Conservatives on campus and in world media have some control???? SRSLY?

If nothing else

At least you can feast your eyes on the hotski in the green elf hat.

5 Guys Burgers

So we went to look at a plot of land (16 acres with a small house asking $125K) and we decided to stop into an over-hyped California burger joint so see what it was all about.

$25 for basically two meals.
Mc Donalds has better flavor than those burgers.
Karen mentioned that she could do better with Wally-World ingredients and I agree.

If I would have known then

That finding a DA revolver in .45 LC was either farging expensive or almost impossible, I would have gotten that Henry in .44 Mag.....

The gun control freak said:

"With the brisk sales of the weapon, Diaz said, “It’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when (there will be another mass killing). It doesn’t take a lot of imagination to think of even worse scenarios than Newtown.”

And the SeaBee said......... "Yeah, and it'll be one of yours that does it- again."

In this article about the AR platform.

Age test

Who here knows what this is?
I gave one to SiL when he went to San Diego for Basic.

Told him you probably won't need it to eat anymore, but it still can help time a ma-Deuce.
He asked "What's a ma-Deuce?"

I told him- "You'll find out ;-)"

Well....... We seem to have a new budget deal working it's way through CONgress

It's a bi-partisan bill that as usual screws people who had nothing to do with creating this mess.

Tell me Rep Ryan and Sen Murray............. How much is CONGRESS putting up to match the axe you're taking to military retirees?

Oh? you're going to curtail your "Lavish" self-portraits? Wow, talk about taking one for the team.
That's gotta hurt, but I'm sure you can manage with your $125,000 yearly retirement and free crap you've voted yourselves.

The more I hear about the 0bamakare website....

The more I'm sure there are people who deserve this website.

I seriously doubt that normal Americans who know how to actually comparison shop will be logging on to that bloated, slow and identity-theft inviting site.

I really don't feel sorry that the same people who got 0bama re-elected are going to suffer site failures, f&cked-up paperwork and the rampant identity theft that's just one distraction away from hitting it big in the MSM.

Ok, go ahead and call me a h8-er, Bill Clinton let me know that it was ok as long as you didn't care about who was going after you without teeth.

Monday, December 09, 2013

And... a feel-good video featuring one of 0bamas sons.

Who plays the Knock-out game as well as his father would......... if he could have sons.

So yesterday we went to the funshow

I parked out of the way, in back, in the last row.
Karen got a box of .357 JHP to feed her Christmas present, and although I was ready to by a cheap less expensive Rock Island Armory 1911 in either .45 or 9MM, but even though I *know* they are secure- I just couldn't make myself send all that gun-show-loophole information through the air...........

So as we were leaving and Karen rounded the last row of cars, she said "LOOK! Your surrounded by the Black Fleet."
That's a black Dodge, me, a black Suburban and a black F-150.........

It happened again?

What are people thinking when they hit a public dumper?

Don't they even think about what could be on that seat before they drop trou and plop down on that nast seat?

Truth in advertizing

Subtlety is sooooo overrated isn't it?

Tuesday, December 03, 2013

Does anyone want to see my shocked face?

Because I don't know anyone... except clueless Republicans who would be surprised at one group of Liberal .GOV bureaucrats protecting a different group of Liberal .GOV bureaucrats.

Especially since the heads of both gaggles were political apparatchiks appointed by the same ideological leader.

Watching "Walking Dead"...

The Governor has an Abrams tank in his arsenal now.
One of his henchmen was a tanker who drove it from wherever.
It has a range of 300 miles on a full tank.

What good is a tank that ran out of fuel?...and batteries?
OR- where are they going to get a tanker full of JP-5?

EDIT-
If I had to make a choice, I think I'd rather be with the guys who had a DR., Vet and First Responder (Rick)
who couldn't get even a rudimentary water treatment system going.
Instead of some bloodthirsty killer who showed what he was whit the hostages.

Remember that hot chick you finally got a chance with?

But it didn't turn out as good as you hoped it would?

Yeah, same thing with the ranger.
It's a good truck- for someone else.
Has lots of pep and power, just not enough room.
And the radio leaves something to be desired, so if I'm only going to max at 18.5 MPG- I may as well get a full size Chevy.

Don't worry, no corporate/union tax sponges will get any more of my money.
It's a black 2013 used 1500 with 8,500 miles on it.

Remembering the Masicree of 47 years ago...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Now I remember why I don't want to go back

So, the old boss (that had to fire me) called a while ago asking if I was still working at Lackland The sekrit government facility, and if I wasn't would I go back working for them.

I told him, I'm working now getting $20/hr and don't have a two hour commute- so he told me to let him know if I knew anyone who could drill and had a CDL.
(He's turning work away right now).

About three weeks he called and asked again, this time I told him I'd do it just to help his emergency work @ $20/hr. so I made $460 watching this for two and a half days-

Today I had to pick up the rock saw, take it completely to the other side of town to "just trench a 40' ditch"
I get there and was told that "there are some pipes down there, but we don't know where they are. Nobody does."

'and you want me to drop a saw that'll rip that pipe in half before anyone knows what happened?'

"We'll fix it, we just need to get the trench cut."
So I back up to the wall and start dropping the blade and watch him as I'm going through asphalt and when to stop and start trenching. He gives the sign and I start, and stop so we can see what depth I'm cutting at.
I went back to look and told him:  'We're cutting across a trench, see that sharp difference between the calicie and the black dirt?'
"I'll be watching for anything and stop you."
I go about three more feet and he's having a panic attack trying to get me to stop.

I cut through 2 water lines and the power to the well pump. Wrapped that #2 wire up like spaghetti on a fork.
So we move up a little and try it again and after about 5', he's telling me to stop and raise the blade.
We just missed the sewer service to the septic tank....

SO...the job Super has an idea to feet the water well pump through another trench (since they're rewiring it anyway)
They mark the trench out and I'm telling the Foreman- "I don't like this, nobody got line locates, and nobody knows where anything is.... OR what kind of crap is buried out here"
"There has to be phone lines feeding that house, and I don't know what else..."

"Dude, everything is above ground except where it goes into the main building."

"Yeah, I know it's SUPPPOSED to be that way, but....... OK, lets see what else we can fuck up."
"I mean Ronnie can't fire me again. I don't even really work for him right now :-)'

So I start trenching and pull up an 8 pr phone line.
As evryone is looking at that, I'm going on to where a drain line used to be- before we cut it off.
As I'm getting close the Super tells me that I've broke enough things today and load the saw up for the next job ...all the way across town again.

As I'm lifting the blade and starting to get away from the trench, I buried that 5 ton Vermeer up to its frame.
It took all the chain I had on the haul truck and about three hours to get it out.

I called mu boss and told him I was heading back to the yard after I got fuel and we'd do something Monday.
I also told him that rock saw had no business over there and a mini-ex would have done a better job with less damage.
He said, yeah- you're right but that's what they insisted on.

It took almost three hours to get back to the yard because of Thanksgiving traffic.
Every road heading north (where the yard is) was nothing but a parking lot.

So- what are YOU thankful for this year?

Good thing we got rid of that Cowboy in the White House

Who wants to guess

What the Army Colonel who said this:

Arnhart wrote that the pic “shows a pretty woman, wearing makeup while on deployed duty. Such photos undermine the rest of the message (and may even make people ask if breaking a nail is considered hazardous duty.)”
“In general, ugly women are perceived as competent while pretty women are perceived as having used their looks to get ahead,” she wrote in the email, first reported by Politico.

-looks like?

US Army (res) SGT Theresa Vail

Nope- that's not her, she's below the break...........

Friday, November 22, 2013

Well, technically she did honor her bet

She said she'd call the weather in her glorious birthday suit if the French won the World Cup.

Now who- after watching that and hearing the village bell- halfway expected to hear the Monty Python theme?

You *know* you heard this as soon as you saw her running and then the bell....
