See, I'm reading this BBC article about how "something" needs to be done to tweek the dollar.
Again.
Ben Bernanke is telling his audience that inflation isn't happening.
He also raised concern that the inflation rate was falling below what he considered consistent with the Fed's mandate.
He said some measures suggested the underlying inflation rate - which ignores short-term price volatility - may have fallen as low as 0.5% in recent months.
Most analysts believe the Fed targets a rate of 2%
Well Ben- the father of TARP-
you obviously aren't the one buying gas and groceries on the state max unemployment payout of $406 a week (before taxes).
And the brain that gave the WON the idea for all his stimulus plans wants to do some "quantitative easing", whatever that is.
From the gist of the paragraph, it sounds like he wants to spend even more money we don't have to buy our own worthless bonds.
Kind of like me using my U.E. money to pay down my credit cards so I can charge more on them.
But, then again, maybe it's the right time to get Karen's retirement money from England to use as down payment on a house in the coastal bend where they're still hiring.
The way Bernanke is pushing inflation, it looks like we'd get more bang for the.....British Euro,,,or something.
I just hope I can sell the house before all those foreclosures come back on line and flood the market.

I am so ashamed
That a Construction Electrician ...a farging SEABEE, has never heard of thermite.
He's got the bare basics down of the Cadweld idea,, but Jeezus
DOOD, serously, find a UT and borrow his propane torch, it'll really help- trust me.
And he's a CE-2 an E-5 fer Chrissakes!
Oh look, my old Battalion in Rota!
it's just too bad that higher wold never let me run a perimiter of bare wire hooked up to our MEPS generators at 2400VAC.
It would be more effective than pebbles in a C-rat can.
I loved NAS Rota.

Look at Alfalfa
He's all growed up and debating Linda McMahon.
She asks Alfalfa- "How do you create a job?"
He doesn't do too bad as a start:

Seriously now
Are you actually telling me that Alvin Greene- the stealth Democrat who came out of nowhere is an Air Force vet?
Seriously?
Because when I was shopping around for the best deal as a recruit. all the AF recruiter could come up with was that in boot camp- EVERYBODY HAD APARTMENTS!" and that nasty Army and Navy had open bay barracks---and we don't even want to talk about what the Marines do to their recruits....if-you-know-what-I-mean...
But anyway... everyone knows that the AF has the reputation for having the smartest people in their ranks that probably would equal a highly rated college campus anywhere they had a permanent base.
I went to school at Sheppard AF base and was quartered in what Naval officers (of a low rank) would be used to, and they apologised that the E-5 quarters were undergoing renovation and that I was in a two man room that made a hotel look bad...
....
....
oh, where was I?
Ah. yes Mr. Green.

Heard on the radio today.
Which I was reminded of when I was over at the OTHER McCains sight. because they have an ad for a guy who wants to turn the entire state of Texas into a sancutary state- like he did to Houston.
Which then reminded me of the woman who said: "If Jesus Christ was running on the Democrat ticked I wouldn't vote for him."

Where's Muhammad?
This was supposed to run in several Sunday papers,
But was pulled.
Want to know why it was pulled?
It was pulled by the same people who brought down Richard Nixon and doesn't have any second thoughts of attacking the Judeo-Christian ideas of the majority of Americans.
Because it was a cartoon and it mentioned Big Mo.
It doesn't even have him in the cartoon.
It's because of Theo Van Gogh and lately Molly Norris of the hateful "Everybody draw Mohammad day"- who is now hiding for her life from a religion of hate.
It wasn't pulled because of what was or was not drawn, it was pulled because of what the editors thought might happen.
The might editors decided that their superior education and thought processes were better than our average citizen and because they couldn't instantly understand the plot, that we- the great unwashed couldn't either.
I got it right away. But then I have not been brainwashed by the PC polizi 24/7 so as to take offence at anything not politically motivated.

No!!! You've got it all wrong.
One year ago today
The world as we knew it changed.
The sun shined just that much brighter (but not hotter!)
The birds songs were a little sweeter.
Crops were finally starting to grow in Africa.
Wars were put on hold.
The oceans stopped risng.
Fists were unclenched.
Enemies began peace talks.
Lions laid down with lambs.
Polar bears enjoyed their ice flows.
Baby Herp seals stopped getting clubbed to death.
Worldwide poverty was a soon-to-be distant memory
All because...
For not being George W. BusHalibrtonMcHitler.

What a BRILLIANT idea!
Yes, we have an 'unexpected' increase in the unemployed numbers from the last quarter.
More and more people out of work, under employed or taking pay cuts.
The .gov is throwing money away faster than they can print it and real people are struggling to pay bills- and buy food and fuel.
So what can we do? Hey, lets increase inflation! Yes, that'll fix it.
I wonder if they got that idea from George Soros- the guy who used inflation to break the Pound?
Skittles and Unicorn farts for an economic policy.

As California goes....
So, we have all these Greenies and Liberals (that was redundant, wasn't it?) pointing at Cali and trying to follow their emission standards. They probably used it in the EPA to force other states to tighten up on their air quality standards.
I wouldn't even be surprised to see it as a basis for that UN climate kookbook.
So, if they're pointing to the Cali air board and using their numbers- what do you think would happen if- like the East Anglia climate fraud- CalAir was off by 340% on the high side of emission numbers?
The pollution estimate in question was too high - by 340 percent, according to the California Air Resources Board, the state agency charged with researching and adopting air quality standards. The estimate was a key part in the creation of a regulation adopted by the Air Resources Board in 2007, a rule that forces businesses to cut diesel emissions by replacing or making costly upgrades to...
It's almost like they have some kind of agenda....
The overestimate, which comes after another bad calculation by the air board on diesel-related deaths that made headlines in 2009, prompted the board to suspend the regulation this year while officials decided whether to weaken the rule.
It's just too bad that the truth just keeps oozing out.
Ohh noes! Look at all that di-hydrogen monoxide polluting the pristine atmosphere.

"PRISONER ZERO HAS ESCAPED"
Forward to the 2 minute mark to get the crack reference without the wait.
"PRISONER ZERO HAS ESCAPED"
Did any Uper see an old blue British police call box around the time of that earthquake that made the crack in the earth?
"PRISONER ZERO HAS ESCAPED"
Like mice to cheese
Or flies to 0bowma.
I'm not any kind of military brain, but I think I'd have some kind of drone patrolling that lot where all those tankers are parked.
You know, for targets of opportunity.
But then again it's not really sporting to bait your prey, is it?
UPDATE-
No links, I'm sure everyone knows about the Pakis closing our supply lines at the border and our tankers getting destroyed.
Just throwing something against the wall.

We have a moratorium on drilling in the gulf
brought by an anti-oil Liberal who was looking for an excuse,,,and BP gave it to him.
They want to stop drilling and producing in Alaska- because there MAY possibly be some kind of ecological harm if something happens.
We can't drill for cheap easily obtainable oil anywhere near any Federal lands, and to make it doubly hard- Clinton made them protected Federal lands.
BUT the Obama administration is going to virtually give up over 6,000 acres to a solar company to make use of Federal (your taxes)incentives to produce solar power.
The announcement is the government's final blessing to Tessera Solar's plans to build a 709-megawatt solar system on 6,140 acres of federal land in Imperial County.
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said the Imperial Valley project would be "one of the largest solar energy projects in the entire world."
Also approved: Chevron Energy Systems' plan for a 45-megawatt photo-voltaic project on 422 acres of public lands in San Bernadino County.
Both projects are set to break ground later this year - in time to take advantage of solar power incentives that were enacted as part of last year's stimulus bill - and are slated to be completed by late 2011.
So this environmentally extremist klan is going to let BIG SOLAR (and Cheveron) tear up and disrupt the ecology of the fragile California desert for ENERGY?????
What about the innocent and endangered,,,,ummmm,,,,desert horny cactus rat?
It's so endangered that no one has ever seen one, and they're going to deny life giving sunlight to the struggling plants.
Can you imagine how many hoops a private industry that, say wanted to put a nuke plant out there would be having to go through?
I mean aren't those thousands of stationary wind turbines on the way into California ugly enough?

By now I'm sure everyone has heard about Vernon Pawlik
He's the 10 year old that got turned away from a West wing tour- supposedly because he was wearing a Tee shirt and shorts.
Against dress code and all- unless that trampy MEchelle is tromping around the halls.
But, the White house is calling it another amateurish f*ck-up that we're getting so used to seeing.
Are we sure it was that Tee that did it, or- is it something else from the Liberal politics of racial purity?
I ask because this is Vernon Baker getting his belated Medal of Honor form Bill Clinton.
This is what he looked like in WWII:
And this is the grandson that the post racial administration denied admittance for using MEchelles dress code.

No Rick, it's because you're a moron
You weren't fired because you're Cuban.
"Deep down, when they look at a guy like me, they see a guy automatically who belongs in the second tier, and not the top tier," the 52-year-old said.
Well, actually you are and it's not because of your race.
As a matter of fact, you probably got where you were because of your race.
You know, Liberal whites and the race card and all...
It's because you say stupid cr@p that makes this blog look like I know what I'm talking about.
It's kind of like Geraldo and where he's at because of his race and nothing else that I can see from his work.

My first thought
When I saw this picture, was 'What's he doing in uniform?
'
Because- waaaay back in the dark ages(under the thumb of Ronaldus Magnus) it was against regs to wear the US military uniform to any political rally.
Or any other kind of partisan or rally of dubious virtue.

Before they jammed the $timulus down our throat
Do you remember how the Won was standing in a Caterpillar plant and telling us how we need to pass that thing to save jobs?
That they'd get their jobs back and be fully employed?
Yeah you do.
Except that now, after stimulus has happened, and the .gov takeover of health care AND the new taxes coming down the pike- those new Caterpillar jobs will be in China.

It must be a Teabagging terrorist
Because DHS has declared right wing gun clingers as a terrorist threat.
In breaking news at the UT Austin, we have one gunman dead and another on the loose. It's still on lockdown.
But...that's unpossible.
Aside from Austin being the Liberal magnet for the entire state of Texas, it's against the law to have guns on campus.
So, when this is all over and the angry Lib is taken care of...and we find that he has a beef against "The Man"- are we going to slap even MORE unenforceable laws on the books?
UPDATE
I guess their was only one shooter.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to send the head newsguy- Jim Forsyth an informatory e-mail about the CIVILIAN version of an AK.

Just how fast was he going?
A 16th century Scots castle arch was destroyed by a contractors van- today I guess.
It was a famous castle, even I've heard of the Scone Palace -where Scots kings have been coronated ...forever.
Judging from the pictures of the debris field, that driver must have been hauling @ss on that narrow twisting road. I wonder if he had to take a drug and alcohol test like we would here?

Of course it was an honest mistake
We're coming to expect that the bunch of amateurs at 1600 Penn. Ave. could f*ck up pouring water out of a boot it the directions were written on the heel.
It took me about 9 seconds to find an image of the Philippine flag.
Too bad the Dept. of State can't figure out how to use a laptop, then look at a picture to hang it right side up.
But then, I don't have a staff of hundreds of .gov bureaucrats working for me, either.
You know, with word of all those clowns leaving the White House, I'm really surprised that I haven't seen any cartoons of rats fleeing the 'USS The Won'.

Seafood anyone?
It looks like there are going to be some well fed crabs in the gulf at Galveston.
