Unfair and Unbalanced
Real Southerners use cane syrup, not gravy.
That would taste like cr@p with pork sausage in it.
Real Southerners don't put sausage in their biscuits. ;-)
We put sausage in the gravy not the biscuits because we're not eating pancakes.
I cut 'em in half then put the gravy on, is that the question? As for the syrup issue - screw syrup. Gotta have molasses.
Cut the biscuits in half, dump the sausage laden gravy over top and chow down.
Cut in half, dump the sausage gravy on 'em, keep one in reserve for sopping up left-over gravy. Nothing spells "Southern" like bread smothered in liquid bread.
