Diversity in action

I noticed something in watching this vid of the N.E. bloggershoot over at Jays place:

Aside from all the different smokepoles and shoot'n arns, that I don't think I saw two people with the same ,,,um,,,,form shooting the same weapon.
The only consistent thing I saw was the pistol grips (sort of) and I'd probably be able to tell who got together with 75 of there closest friends to learn how to hit targets one day.

And I'm part of that diverse crowd too, as you can see by my unorthodox pistol grip if you look at the header. Hey, it works for me and I can put a dinner plate over my pattern at 25 yards.

So, remember all the way back to November?

That November of 2008 and then January 2009 when the God-king ascended to his rightful place?

After he got his meaningless prize worth a cool million for what he was going to do. Now with his approval ratings where Bush was after eight years of the Liberal media bashing him daily...

How are those plans going to put his face on Mt. Rushmore going?
Have they found a prominence big enough for his ego yet? Is that the holdup?

Doing the right thing

By now the initial hubbub is dying down about those wikileaks.
Not that there was a whole lot of earth shattering revelations in them, but the fact that names were named is, or should be troubling.

Normally when our covert help was compromised, a caring and competent administration would be scrambling to be sure our informants and their families were safe.

But we have the most bumbling and shortsighted administration in the last 20 years running things now. Do you think anyone has even broached the subject of evacuating those people? Because not only is it right- for their help, at least- but for any future clandestine help that might go south and need reassurance that we won't hang them out to dry.

But I'm not holding my breath on King Barry the Narcissist to do the morally right thing.

Oh! How kewl is that.

The Reverend has a new CD out.

Now to figure out how to make this a ringtone- I should be able to hear that over the backhoe.

Hunny, my Christmas list.

In the spirit of bipartisanship

I have an old sofa cover they could use for Michelle's newly commissioned dress.

You know, in the spirit of their well known humility and frugal ways.

More economic surprises

...Well to our betters in DEECEE and their apparatchiks in the east and Left coasts.

Us ignorant hicks in flyover country aren't surprised at the news, because we don't live in a Liberal echo chamber.

We live with the reality that actions HAVE consequences and the vast majority don't believe in magical Unicorns.

About this Ground Zero mosq

I agree with the sentiment that when a Luthrin church goes up in Mecca, then it's ok.

On the other hand, you have the Dhimmies of the Left saying- "it's NOT on ground Zero. It's blocks away!"

Yeah? How many blocks?

Editorial oversite and fact checking

The MSM haz it and us jammie wearing fools don't.

Because, since I didn't go to "J" skool to learn how to diagram a sentence- I know something is wrong in this report.

Biden was not delayed by the accident, who met with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg earlier Thursday.

I wonder what the accident and Bloomberg had to say to each other?

Coming soon to a website near you...

Backscatter.XXX.com

Remember all those reassuring noises the .gov made about how only the operator was going to see your goodies?
Yeah, they lied. Are you gobsmackingly flummoxed by that?

Chesty Puller is rolling over in his grave

And I don't think Pappy Boyington is lying any more peaceful.

Because in this world of promotion by PC, a Marine suggesting the someone needs their @ss kicked is busted in rank and almost deported.

Not that his squad should have beat the sh1t out of a pair of recalcitrant Afghanis, but it's pretty harsh for a cadre who even today commits verbal, mental and physical abuse against their own booters (SiL was telling about the full body kicks by his Dis in formation,,,among other things...before he knew he wasn't supposed to talk out of school).

Cpl. Ahmad Siddiqi, who speaks Pashto, was questioning a suspect in Farah province, Afghanistan, in 2009 when the suspect verbally threatened him. Siddiqi got angry and made an off-the-cuff comment to two of his fellow squad members over the radio that landed several Marines in the brig.

“Hey, you guys need to come beat this guy up,” he said.

And they did.

Siddiqi’s careless suggestion was not an order, though, because he was not in charge.

But when his buddies came over to Siddiqi’s position, their squad leader surprised them by giving his nod to the idea, assuring the two Marines they would not get in trouble for the beating.

But they did. And so did Siddiqi for merely suggesting it.

The Mossberg M500

It's like they're aiming to be the F-150 of the shotgun world.

In addition to the evil black ninja M500 we find a rifled 20GA version for long range goblin hunting and a way for the ladies to be designer co-ordinated when at the range or defending their homes.

If you prefer a shortstroke action, we have the M510 with an 18" barrel.

The way it looks

...Is that I'm #1 in the Liberal Google image search for Chelsea Clinton nipples because of a post I threw up two and a half years ago.
And the fact that George Soros is financing her wedding today.

If you're going to perv an ex presidents daughter, look for one who didn't inhearit the worse facial features of both parents- you know?

Throwing good money after bad

No, I'm not talking about the trillions of dollars wasted on the Lightweights so called stimulus plan.

But some of the money waste probably came from there, too as some kind of political payback to the abortion industry in the guise of Embryonic Stem Cell Research. This HUGE deal the Libs made of the advances they could make by using dead babys to cure ailments in adults, except they just can't get it to work right.

Even though there are currently many successful treatments using adult stem cells with out massive amounts of your tax money being thrown down sewer.

Rumbia...

It's what's for dinner!

The way it's supposed to be.

To you Filipino MS guys in CBC Gulfport that means dredged in flour and fried in a skillet smothered with sliced fried onions.

NOT Liver adobo.

No post for you!

I just got another round of shots in my elbow and it hurts worse than when they split my left arm open to repair some nerve damage.
I have to go in for a meeting and to look at a difficult job, then it's Darvocets for me.

Hurry up five o'clock.

Ten years ago

You knew Bill Clinton was lying because he was talking.

Today we know that whenever Prez Kickass is saying something we're supposed to "suspend our disbelief" (thanks Hil).

The difference is that Slick Willy knew you knew he was lying and it was a wink, nudge and lets get on to other things kind of lie.

The Narcissist in Chief expects you to believe everything he says, no matter how many times hes' been caught in a lie.

Bill Clinton grew up poor and is glorifying in his new found wealth.

The Obaminator is failing his 'I feel you pain' moment:

Obama says the first couple is "not that far removed from what most Americans are going through." He tells the network "it was just a few years ago that we had high credit card balances, we had two kids, thinking about college. We had our own retirement accounts, wondering if we were going to be able to get enough assets in there."

...And you paid off those credit card bills with your fist book advance and Michelle's no-show job.
...Your kids thinking of college were what- five and seven at the time?
...You don't need to worry about your retirement now, with your state and Federal pensions enshrined in stone.

Jezus, the guy can't even play off being average believably.

Sorry, can't help it

...And it's kinda sick.

But HEY, Al IS a Democrat, so it really could be true.

Know what I mean?

Because Democrats are always edgy and trying to...stretch that envelope, you know.

..........

.........

Ooh, is that Global warming in my pants?

A tale of two presidents

On the one hand, we have the CEO of a multinational company that's historically been demonized by the Liberal media -one Tony Hayward of BP who has worked almost continually from day ONE to correct a massive problem his company caused

On the other hand is the media darling - our own Barack Obama who only turned his Lazerlike focus on the gulf problem after being called out by the gibbering idiot James Carvel two months into the problem -interrupting at least one golf outing in the process of making a photo op off the golf course.

Now BP Tony is out and Prez Kickass is taking a break from showing Americans that they can relax and still be focused on fixing the problems buy taking another vacation.

A question for any Liberals

that may happen to find their way here....

When this hits our health care system...is there going to be a sekrit codeword you can put on your admitting papers to let them know you voted for Obama?
That way they'll take a little better care of you than normal or scoot you up half way in line to just after the ones they owe favors to.

Where are they now?

Apparently Lcdr Worf is making you-tube science vids.

As seen via Robertas place (where I didn't mention it because I didn't want to track mud into her comment section).

Public safety and the right to say no

Apparently the San Antonio airport is getting the high tech version of X-ray glasses (yes you CAN see through her clothes!!!).

My back-up station KTSA55AM was having a little discussion about them.
I seems that the pervs at the TSA wherever this unattended 14 year old girl was forced her to go through that backscatter X-ray machine where she was promptly patted down. Not so surprisingly, mom had a problem with this.
After contacting the TSA bureaucracy, she was basically told to get over it because it was random.

I don't fly. Firstly because I don't have to, secondly if it's anywhere within about a five hour drive- I can get there in about the same amount of time with A LOT less hassles, and it's cheaper.

...Oh yeah, mom was also told that it was random under the local airports security detail.

NOW, what I'm getting to is this.
These new backscatter machines are supposedly random as decided by the local boss.
You can use it or get felt up.
If there were a way to connect the names (if they keep the randomly selected) and you could connect them with faces....what do you think the ratio of hot babes selected VS wrinkled grannies or hairy guys will show?

Paper or plastic?

Well, now that Prez Kickass is going to sign the most intrusive and bureaucratic legislation in the history of America (except for his healthcare takeover) you're going to have to decide how much you want the .gov knowing about what you buy, where and when.

Because, in addition to some unelected and uncaring bureaucrat making the final decision on ALL loans, your cards will now be monitored. But don't worry! It's not like anyone in the .gov would do anything politically motivated with the knowledge that you bought that sheep costume at 2AM in Vegas if they wanted something from you.

Me, I got lazy and use a debit card for most things now. I guess I'll be going back to cash.

"Mr. P- we see that you fill your truck up two to three times a week. Don't you think that's quite a bit more gasoline than you need to be using? ...And this beer that you buy too much of..."

That's a touring bike?

It looks like a Teutonic crotch-rocket.
...And with six cylinders and 1600CCs, it could be that, too.

Meet BMW's newest line of ...compensation- the K-1600gt.

Because we all know that buying a motorsickle is all about lack of vibration and enhanced comfort.

Personally, if I was going to get another bike, that would be something like this Trumpet that costs less, gets better gas mileage and actually vibrates like a motorcycle is supposed to.

Dood! They're crying!

I'm watching James May's 'Toy stories'- in which Captain Slow of 'Top Gear' fame makes toys of Olde England relevant today.

I only found out that the famed 'plasticine porters' of a certain Beatles hit were not some Lladro-like figures, but made of Play-do.

Now, he's got engineering students making a full size bridge out of their version of an Erector set.
They made it in their lab, and in setting it up, the mild steel started to bend,,, and showed the legendary British 'stiff upper lip' has bypassed this generation of guys (the girls swore and the guys started crying)- so they had to rebuild it.

And yes, captain Slow walked across some famous canal in Liverpool via a child's intellectual toy.

BTW...what's up with the Kindle ad and the blonde babe who's no longer going through her adventures?

Finding Nemo

But....they got what they wanted

As a matter of fact, Mort Zuckerman, Babs Streisand and the rest of the Leftist Hollywood Liberals have been fighting for this exact thing for the last forty years.

Now that Prez Kickass is delivering on the complete state takeover of every private enterprise they can think of-they are starting to get a clue. It's not that their belief system is changing so much. but that it's THEIR pocket that's going to be taking a hit.

Even Mort Zuckerman, who wrote the TelePrompTer Readers speeches, sounds like an eevil conservative fat cat businessman.

He's even unintentionally agreeing with Bush in his thoughts on Fanny Mac:
but most glaringly in forcing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Housing Administration to back loans to people who could not afford them. And not to mention the role of the Securities and Exchange Commission, which in 2004 sanctioned higher levels of leverage for financial firms, from 12 times equity to over 30 times equity.

If the O-man keeps up, his Liberal base might even want to reform Social Security.

Another Czar?

Now we have a celebrity chef in charge of a new and over-reaching health food regulating body. Yeah, a Health Food Czar.

Kaptain Kickass has more Czars inn his White House than Russia had in it's history by now, doesn't he?
