Rule-5 Thursday- Searches answered

This time we're looking at "Gun Girls"- always a good topic.

The things I go through for you- You don't know how many of theses pics I rejected because of the Rule Two violations.

This weeks bad photoshop has been changed to just a bad girl-

I can't help but notice

That gas is going up again.

Here we are with the Bakken and Eagle-Ford oil feilds pumping more produce than we need.
People driving less than in decades (because they can't afford it).

And the fawning media who would be screaming their lungs out it there was a Republican in the White House are giving us all kinds of excused why it's not only *not* a problem- but actually good that were paying $2 more than we should be.

What should happen to everyone doing the Harlem shake

Alternately titled- ""Why women have no place on the front-lines"

Rule-5 Thursday already?

So- using the search words is working for us so far, and today's phrase is "Curvy Bikini".

And your inappropriate photoshop of the week is:

Oh! You want content.

How about this sentence to make you want to click a link that has hardly anything to do with this quote:

I saw a guy in Brooklyn once with a handlebar mustache, pierced ears, a fedora hat and jodhpurs. He was a collage of sartorial attempts at evading himself. It looked as if he were interrupted during a shave in the mid-1850s and had to grab some clothes and dress quickly while being chased through a time tunnel.

Texas Eagle-Ford shale is producing big-time product

The Bakken oil patch in ND is over flowing.
We almost have an oil glut in America.
Gas consumption is at the lowest point in Decades and the only thing the MSM is saying about it is that -the unremarked on rise in prices will hold steady or fall a couple pennies per gallon.

If there was a Republican in the White House, all we'd be hearing is how those greedy, evil OIL Comanies are ripping off the consumer- and WHAT IS THE PRESIDENT GOING TO DO ABOUT IT????
But with their Chicago Jeezus up there -who promised European energy costs, we get crickets.

Polish that turd, Joe

Joe Klein over at the White House mouthpiece called the NYT is busy shining up that turd called 0bamaKare.

In this one we hear about how flexable the .GOV is about responding to the 0bamacaer application.
Knocking it down from 21 pages to just 3 (less if you're a 1%-er).

Then he goes on to link 0bamacare to a beloved monopoly-(Time-Warner):
One of the things that concerned me was the 21-page application form that was required for people to join a health care exchange — which, if you’re unfamiliar with the jargon, is an online health-insurance superstore (think Orbitz or Hotels.com) where individuals will have the collective market power of large corporations like, say, Time Warner.

Because when you think of T-W, it just gives you the warm fuzzies knowing how much they care about you.

Cultural reference time

Bonus points for the name:

Bonus for twenty-
How big was his brain?

One more for Blue Sun-
Where was the restaurant?

Well Bill Maher- It's your people doing it

It's you Liberals agenda, your dream of the nanny state.

You can't blame the Republicans, because the haven't had anything to do in Bhaahstin in decades.

Our favorite geological expert  Democrat Congressman from GA. talking about helium:

I wonder if he even saw the speech Big Helium the Helium Lobby wrote for him before he got up there.

April 15 was supposed to be Buy a Gun Day

But other things took precedence.
Now I'd like to show you what I got for BAG day.
It was something I'd been putting off for a while but I was getting signs that I needed to move on them, so below the jump is my Marlin 1894c in .357..

UPDATE:
10:29AM Fri 26 Apr.
You **NEED* an 18mm combination wrench, and as long as you're going back to the parts house- you may as well get a set of shocks.

UPDATE- The second-
5:45PM-
Something to save a metric butt-ton of aggravation.
On the drivers side, pull the motor mount bolt and raise the engine as high as you need to, since we're working on a V-6 S-10 instead of a postal truck. The mounting bolts through the frame are pressing bolts that come out with the right persuasion. Then just lift the old one out and drop the new one in.

this Thursdays rule-5 word search is

Curvy Blondes!

And we have a bumper crop in our search engine!
And your bad photoshop of the week;

Do they have elevators?

I was looking at these new AF Basic Trainee condos the other day while we were pulling wire.
And I wondered, since it's the AF, do they have platoon squadron sized elevators, or do the upstairs "Future Air Warriors" have to trudge up four levels of stairs?

Monday, April 22, 2013

Oh, look!

The Norks are celebrating Earth Day!
Just like they do every day........

Lost in all the hubub this week

Monday was BAG day- I bought a refrigerator instead :-(

Yesterday was the 70 anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising.
This is how it would be reported today by the MSM;

Chalk up a win for the terrorists

Boston and Cambridge are in a complete lockdown.
The city looks like a ghost town- all because the cops told the unarmed sheeple to stay inside while they conduce house to house searches.

Probably without warrants, too.
...

AND who wants odds that when this is over people will get a knock on the door with a warrant to do something about the illegal weapons they saw the first time?

It looks like we need to tighten-up on the 1st Amendment

Because somehow, we have to save the children.

maybe we need to implement some kind of background checks, or maybe even look at slowing down the misinformation that susceptible children have access to.

Because it might cost then their lives if "something isn't done" to stop them from doing stupid things based on something they read.

We need to do *something* ...because if it only saves ONE life.....................

Thursday, April 18, 2013

One more reason

To link to Jennifer's blog with this tripe coming from some washed-up actor that I barely remember- trying to tie a pressure cooker to the 2nd Amendment.

So, to help cement her diamond of a post in it's rightful glory is Jennifer on celebrities:

Dear Hollywood celebrities,
You exist for my entertainment.  Some of you are great eye candy.  Some of you can deliver a line with such conviction that you bring tears to my eyes.  Some of you can scare the crap out of me.  Others make me laugh.  But you all have one thing in common, you only have a place in my world to entertain me.  That’s it.
You make your living pretending to be someone else.  Playing dress up like a retard*.  You live in a make believe world in front of a camera.  And often when you are away from one too.  Your entire existence depends on my patronage.
I’ll crank the organ grinder; you dance.
I don’t really care where you stand on issues.  Honestly, your stance matters far less to me than that of my neighbor.  You see, you aren’t real.  I turn off my TV or shut down my computer and you cease to exist in my world.  Once I am done with you, I can put you back in your little box until I want you to entertain me again.

Thursday again? Rule -5

And in the spirit of letting searchers find a good subject- we have the "Curvy short women" theme today.

Bonus questuon:
Which pic did I gank from Wirecutter?
And the bad photoshop of the week-

Salon magazine keeping it classy

I was going to do this after I first heard about what happened in Boston, but didn't want to go there, but the Liberals at Salon gave me the ok.

Whoever did the Boston attack probably had more love for

BUT the Lamestreem  Media will want to blame:

Why yes, San Antonio is run by Democrats

and so is Bexar County.
Which is why along with a light rail system (that's unfunded and unpopular) we just got a pre-pre-K city run school which just got voted a .25% sales tax (against popular notions also).

Now, the brain trust that keeps getting voted back into office has decided to create a BOOKLESS Library.
And no-one has mentioned a problem with spending money on funding something that you have to actually travel to....to do what you're doing on line right now--reading off a computer in the comfort of your own home, office or smart device.

Oh, and nowhere I could find tells how it's financed...

So, it wasn't "The Little People"?

That made the door in that San Fran Elm tree.

It was actual boat people, and they came forward to take credit.
Knowing the eco-nuts in San Fransisco, I'd bet they'll be up on charges of some kind soon.

Not that I'm surprised that it was people that did it, what made me post about this is the authors complete lack of ...umm.... giving regular people credit for something I hope any of my readers could do in about 5 minutes with a jig-saw or band saw--

Tony is a skilled craftsman with the chops necessary to shape and carve wood, the blog reported.

F'ing seriously?
How hard does Chris Roberts think hacking a chunk of waste wood into a vaguely lopsided triangle is?
