Good news for Hillary!

According to Wikipedia, the term "carpetbagger" is no longer considered derogatory.

Unless, I guess, it's decribing a Democrat...

HMmmmmmm

No wonder everyone thought she had a talent......MIND CONTROL

I mean, LOOK at the crevases on Brits melon. It's uglier than Telly Savalas's.

.

.

.

Please make it STOP!

.
I found this new Liberal boycot over at John Hawkins place.

"Consumers are asked to withhold their spending for seven days, beginning on Sunday April 15 and lasting until Sunday April 22, 2007. Do NOT shop corporate outlets Minimize use of oil and gas. Carpool: bus, bike or walk. If you buy, BUY LOCALLY. Plan Ahead and Stock Up"

Ok,,, that looks like a good uncrowed week to go shopping.

Plus April 15th is Buy-a-Gun-Day!!!
Buy a Gun Day
Cool.

Help me out here

I saw in a(n) unremembered blog, a link to a website in Oz about ummm......assisting Libs to "help" mitigate the damage of man-made Global Climate Change.

It sounds good to me, and I'd like your help on the copy, I might even share the result$.

Basically, they said since you're stuck in the regressive America who refuses to sign-on to the Kyoto thing- that you could contribute $8 to a fund that would go to mitigate the greenhouse gasses somewhere else.

BRILLIANT!

Ok, so my idea is for those on the East and left coast to contribute to making us backwards residents in Hondo, Tx of flyover country energy efficient by contributing to upgrading our energy using appliances and to replace gas-guzzling older model vehicles with newer, more efficient ones.

The replaced vehicle would go to replace an even MORE energy inefficient product (say a 78 F-350 dually) and get it off the road. The same goes for my a washing machine, A/C units, and many other energy using appliances.

All I need is ideas to pull on wallet heartstrings of those predisposed to help the cause, and any ideas on free websites that cater to those folks.

Choices

Why is it that Liberals only want to allow choice when it comes to killing babies removing 'unviable tissue masses'?

I just got forced to move to the *NEW and IMPROVED* blogger.

Because, you know- Liberals know better than you what you need.
I also had a chance to re-read their ToS and noted the future muzzeling of dissent.

So, when Google gets big enough,,,,,,,Why isn't a Liberal internet monopoly as bad as a Telephone monopoly? Or, say an energy company making a profit?.........they'll be able to "modify the Content policy" to gag any blog that doesn't toe the Liberal line. Right?

Am I wrong? Look at the way Google is using it's search engine to push their chosen sites and to ignore those they disagree with.
You-tube, the same. I'd have to say that there's an overwhelming majority of clips either anti-american or pro-terrorist. Anything their Liberal, terrorist adoring audience disagrees with is pulled so fast theirs a vacume.

I'll be seriously looking for another site that costs what this blog is worth.
Namely--free.

Assault weapons through history

Kevin has a post that finally got me moving to make this short history of assault weapons... just to keep things in perspective.

This was most likely the first type of assault weapon in history.

Next was probably something alone these lines...

Then they found a way to kill at a distance.

Adding a handle made the killing more efficient.

Then we get into metalergy.

...And the science of aerodynamics!

Which came before the science of pyrotechnics and ballistics.

With firearms used on both sides of good and evil.

Is some arbitrary idea that adding a bananna clip, or making it black , or ugly more deadly than long and lean?

Assault weapons were'nt always used by the military only, or for killing human beings. Most make good hunting rifles.

Because when you boil it all down, it's not the weapon it's self that's dangerous, it's the one using it.

I just *KNOW* you've talked to this guy

Mujibar was trying to get a job in India.

The Personnel Manager said, "Mujibar, you have
passed all the tests, except one. Unless you pass
it you cannot qualify for this job."

Mujibar said, "I am ready"

The manager said, "Make a sentence using the
words Yellow, Pink and Green."

Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said,
"Mister manager, I am ready"

The manager said, "Go ahead."

Mujibar said, "The telephone goes green, green,
and I pink it up, and say, 'Yellow, this is Mujibar.'"

Mujibar now works as a technician at a call
center for computer problems.

No doubt you have spoken to him. I have.

This'll have to do for a while- got something on my mind, don't know if there'll be a post about it, or not.
At least I'm not completely p*ssed off any more.

Great!

Now i'm getting spam from a thing I put in Craigslist.

NO! I don't want to buy v1agra.
I'm not the slightest bit interested.

Go away.
Stop bothering me.
Ron Paul (RINO-Tx) Had this bit ofB.S. explaination for his YES vote on the Terrorist Encoragement No confidence Stab our troops Anti-surge" vote.

This resolution, unfortunately, does not address the disaster in Iraq. Instead, it seeks to appear opposed to the war while at the same time offering no change of the status quo in Iraq. As such, it is not actually a vote against a troop surge. A real vote against a troop surge is a vote against the coming supplemental appropriation that finances it. I hope all of my colleagues who vote against the surge today will vote against the budgetary surge when it really counts: when we vote on the supplemental.

The biggest red herring in this debate is the constant innuendo that those who don’t support expanding the war are somehow opposing the troops. It’s nothing more than a canard to claim that those of us who struggled to prevent the bloodshed and now want it stopped are somehow less patriotic and less concerned about the welfare of our military personnel.

You can read the rest of his double-speak at the link above.
Ron, It's not only a slap in the face to the military; it's also encouraging the terrrorists who are watching the forces of anti-Americanism weaken our resolve.

But don't question his patriotism, Or his concern for troop well being.
Because if he were President, we wouldn't have to worry about things like foriegn entanglements.

Happy Sabbath, Muslimbs

All I can say is WTF?

?

Oh, he's German...or something.
Why would anyone do this to an Opal?

An OPAL?

Oh, yeah-he's German, or something.

It's not like they have *real* trucks over there...

(UPDATE)
You may wonder why I'm posting so early- considering I work at night.
Some self centered individual decided that 6:30AM was a good time to be running and playing with the dogs. I'll most likely be up until 3AM now. Or about 3 hours after I drop off my last load.

If they're against it, it must be good

The Texas Branch of the A.C.L.U is against Texas House Bill 29 which is trying to do *something* at least about the anchor baby scam that illegals are using to defraud American taxpayers.

It's hypocritically amusing to see that the ACLU is using it's 'love' of the Constitution to sway public opinion.

HB 28 would take away several state benefits from children born in Texasto parents who entered the United Statesin violation of Federal law. It is in fact also an attempt to set up a legal challenge to the current interpretation of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The ACLU of Texas opposes HB 28 because it:
-Ignores American legal tradition and disrespects the Constitution
-Will unnecessarily cost the state of Texas money
-Punishes innocent children for the choices of their parents.

These are the same people who use the Constitution to force their brand of anti-American values down our throats no matter how much it costs -AND- they get our tax money for doing it. So I guess I can understand where they're coming from on the "cost the state of Texas money", since they'll be the ones sueing the state for whatever they can strongarm out of us.

I'd like to remind everyone that the original intent was to ensure that the recently freed slaves (of 1865) weren't discriminated against by the same Democratic party that has been using and abusing them ever since they've been in America.
Whatever happened to the Liberal view that the Constitution was a 'living, breathing document' and that 'it needs to change with the times'?
The Constitution has been changed before, and it will be again. This wouldn't be the first time an amendment was repealed for the good of the country.

It's time to look at modifying the 14th Amendment and deny automatic citizenship to those who's first act in the country is breaking our laws.

She has to have a place on my blogroll

Right thinking girl just distilled Anna Nicole-smith down to one sentence in a post of rememberences.

Dressed in a black that hinted of Baudelaire and Sartre, not of a grieving widow trying to gain sympathy in a courtroom, she won a Supreme Court victory that stunned legal scholars as well as tabloid reporters who were thrilled to learn that Washington DC is as much a make-believe place as Hollywood. It was a place where a multi-millionaire stripper could win justice. ‘A deal’s a deal’, the court seemed to say, and handed Smith the opportunity to claim millions of her deceased 90 year old husband’s fortune. In trailer parks all over America, little girls grinned at the teevee and for a moment, believed that dreams can come true.

That's enough time wasing

Happy Valentines Day from Huey Lewis.

(And a special note to Viacom.)
Way to go for positive PR.

That's it!

I'm f'ing tired of the Leftist slant I hear every frigging time I hear the news.
I'm tired of hearing about some drug addicted slut who's ONLY claim to fame was a pair of silocone enhanced set of modified sweat glands. (boobs for the biologically challenged)

From now on my ONLY source of news is going to be here.

And aside from C/Ds, music from here.

OHhhhhh,,,,,,and since they're already doing the 2008 pre-pre-election coverage, I think I'll just fill my ears with expanding foam and stick a fork in my eyes.

How the worm turns

This Republican had this to say about a Democratic President:
...who defeated 81 Democrats in a procedural vote on an amendment to send a routine resolution back to committee with instructions for the committee to add the words "a war unnecessarily and unconstitutionally begun by the President of the United States." The amendment passed, but the bill never reemerged from committee and was never finally voted upon.[13]

Lincoln damaged his reputation by an intemperate speech in the House. He announced, "God of Heaven has forgotten to defend the weak and innocent, and permitted the strong band of murderers and demons from hell to kill men, women, and children, and lay waste and pillage the land of the just."

Peacenick? Nahhh, just parisan at that time.
But he changed-
When the spring campaigns all turned into bloody stalemates, Lincoln strongly supported Grant's strategy of wearing down Lee's army at the cost of heavy Union casualties. Lincoln easily defeated efforts to deny his renomination, and selected Andrew Johnson, a War Democrat from the Southern state of Tennessee as his running mate in order to form a broader coalition. They ran on the new Union Party ticket; it was a coalition of Republicans and War Democrats.

Republicans across the country had the jitters in August, fearing that Lincoln would be defeated. Acknowledging those fears, Lincoln wrote and signed a pledge that, if he should lose the election, he would nonetheless defeat the Confederacy by an all-out military effort before turning over the White House.[28]

But, the more they change, the more they also stay the same.

Thank you Abe.

Firefox cure

I had been having problems with F/F on the main computer, well, since I had to restore it from a trojan.
I found out from the warning on Majorgeeks that the problem could be from F/F it's self. That was probably why I was having so many problems loading pages.

I uinstalled that version and installed version 1.5.0.9 from here (top of the "old version" list), since it works well on the laptop.
If you downloaded version 2.0.0.1 and are having problems, try an earlier version- it could really help. It will remember your settings, so it's not that big of a deal.

Now, back to working on my pending paternity attempt.

Hi, please drive friendly

Speaking of Police vehicles, I wonder how Bloomingfield Hills gets the money for these?.
I don't know which state these patrol units are used in.

Probably California...

...And speaking of a reality biased populations , willing to be panicked about anything...
Don't talk about your favorite gun website in public high school bathrooms in Main.

When will they take *NO* for an answer?

Here we go again with the "newest and even MORE improved" dollar coin. It's the one on top (I know it's confusing- all the changes to our money)

The newest is going to get the same acceptance as the Susan B. and the Sacajawea that flopped so well in the last 20 years.
So, how much will THIS failure cost? I'm sure it will be more than the other two, because they are going to introduce a new coin every three months. I wish I had stock in that engraving company.

Not to be bringing in politics, but I wonder if they're based in California?

I hate to subject you to another Anna Nicole story

But, I have to confess.
Really, it has absolutly nothing to do with the $460 Million,,,or is it $89 Million?

But, I was unfaithful to my wife and had to give in to Annas' begging.
Her infant daughter is mine. I accept all responsibility for taking car of her finances.

I'm sorry hunny, now we'll have to move into a humungous estate,,,if you can forgive me for giving the poor girls mom some physical attention, since everyone around her only was interested in her mind.

Time for a pop quiz

One question, multiple choice.

Who said this?:
But he denied pressuring the Pentagon. "I don't need to pressure them. I just tell them what they need to do,''

And this?:
They're making a mistake when they leak it because she decides on allocations for them,'' referring to the Pentagon budget.

A- John Kerry (D- Viet Nam vet, he was there...really!)

B- Dick Cheney (R- so mean he shoots his own friends)

C- Ted Kennedy (D- sole survivor of the battle of Cappaquiddik)

D- John Murtha (D- ex Marine)

E- George BusHitler? (R ex T.A.N.G. and the most power hungry 'selected' leader anywhere or when)

Guess, then read.

I HATE Adobe

I'm *trying* to get started on the taxes.

I just added up our gross income and am surprised that -considering how much money we DON'T have, that we're slightly above the median income.

Anyway, I'm on the U.S. official Gestapo site looking for the free e-file.
After finding it, I realized that in order to use find the free file sites, I need to know my adjusted gross income.
OK, I'll just download the forms and pre-do it.

I have the wrong Adobe (reader 5- I think), and need to download at least '6'.
I went to their site and have spent the last 30-or-so minutes watching Adobe take over my computer..........and thank you for asking, but *NO* I don't want the automatic Photoshop download, too.
Every Singh in India must have had a hand in designing the "Latest-and-greatest' Adobe ever.
...Until next week.

Now to download the tax forms so I can pre-do them before doing tham.

Boy, don't I have a good life.

Is it blogger?

Or did I download some weird virus that is making all my computers hang?
I've been trying to get Googled over to Becky's site so she has more to post about, but both of my computers are hanging.

Anyway, go here and click the link to say 'Hi" to Becky! I'm sure she'll love you for it!!!

I've been ordered to do something

But I'm not sure I'm going to comply.

She-who-must should-be-obeyed has told me to get rid of "that horrendous bug-eyed rodent picture" in my profile.

Should I? And if I do, do I go back to Buckwheat or find another picture?

Gee, I didn't know 110V AC was a caliber,,,,

Kinda looks like Pammy is going to have some Canadian competition in a few years....

Yet another stoopid blogger meme

This time it's the 'Six Things' thing from El Capitain.
So, lets get started...

THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the six weird things about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blogpost of their own six weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose six people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says 'you are tagged’ in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

OK, I am weird because...

  1. I'm kind of a neat freak. Not as in everything has to be spotless, but things need to be where they belong- not scattered all over the floor, or thrown in the sink. Some in the family consider that somewhat anal...
  2. I'm not usually overly patient, unless I'm teaching someone who really wants to learn what I'm showing them- then we can go over things all day long.
  3. I talk to the dogs like humans, not the "widdle, biddie baby" talk that it seems most people talk to their pets.
  4. I'd rather drink cheap beer than the "good stuff".
  5. I'd rather listen to silence than music, generally.
  6. I tend to not really be a "joiner", so this meme will stop here...unless you want to post your weird stuff in my comments.

WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!

Over a hunderd thousand dead!!!

Bird flu is attacking England.

Every one PANIC!!!!

LONDON - Britain confirmed its first outbreak of the H5N1 bird flu in a domestic flock on Saturday, saying the virus has been detected on a farm owned by Europe's largest turkey producer where 2,500 turkeys died.

As a precaution all 159,000 turkeys will be slaughtered on the farm in Holton in Suffolk, about 130 miles northeast of London, said Britain's Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer Fred Landeg. He said he expects the outbreak to be contained.

Oops, maybe panic is too strong of a word...

Workers have been offered antiviral drugs and are wearing protective clothing, said Health Protection Agency virologist Maria Zambon. She added that the virus does not transmit easily to humans and has not been found to be transmitted through food.

Experts stressed the situation did not pose a public health threat.

First it was Dhimmy Carters' Swine flu that was going to devestate America, Now it's Bird flue. What's the next manufactured crisis?
Oh, yeah...'Global Climate Change'
