Nobody was supposed to buy anything to... stick it to the Man.
Or something.
I put 43 gallons of gas in the F-250 and 17 in the Silverado.
Stocked up on booze.
Got a handful of 4" grinding discs.
And a round bale (that didn't count because I got it from a farm.
What did you buy last Friday?
Case of Coors banquet beer. Not the gay light beer.
ReplyDeleteCase of 5.56...
ReplyDeleteI got a new motorcycle!
ReplyDeleteGroceries. It made me remember when $269 at the store was enough to last a month. I'll be going back next week.
ReplyDeleteI went out and did some of my grocery shopping done early . That chore usually gets done Saturdays. Gassed up the truck , bought dog treats and a holster and ammo at the farm store ,and a 12 pack of sudz .I was hoping nobody would be in the way due to the boycott , but here in Wisconsin nobody got the memo I guess.
ReplyDeleteLivestock feed from Bomgar's, groceries, Wally World and Aldis, a rolling work bench and a chipper/shredder from Harbor Freight. Used a charge card too!
ReplyDeleteWhen your concept of hurting businesses financially is to buy from them one day, not the next and then again the day after, your economic ignorance is off the charts.
ReplyDeleteBought 3 old fiberglass boats, two barrels of used motor oil, and 51 used tires for the Earth Day bonfire.
ReplyDeleteGroceries.
ReplyDeleteGroceries from a couple of different large companies. Lunch at Mickey D's, although I'm not sure if it counts, because it's a franchise--owned by a small business owner. Filled up the car.
ReplyDeleteHad one friend, who is a small business owner and missed the plot because she closed in 'solidarity' with the boycott. Wasn't quite sure how to tell her....
