Anyone who was old enough to remember the environmental scares of the '79s and '80's

HAS to remember some of these environmental alarms.
-The Ozone Hole (bekuzz hair spray)
-Acid Rain (Bekuzz air pollution)
- Water shortages (bekauzz....reasons) and how we HAVE to act now to preserve drinking water!

And now the same scientists are actually working on destroying water on it's atomic level.
.....But now I guess it's okay because we have low flow faucets and water saving toilets🙄 and SCIENCE and sh1t.

  3. Not destroying water - wasting lots of energy to make hydrogen which then is converted to water to make electricity.
Of course, the "green" energy that would be wasted isn't reliable, The 400+ acre solar farm down the road from me in Southern Wisconsin has been about 40% covered in snow for the last two weeks.

  4. By using a faucet with a flow restrictor it takes up to 4 minutes to fill kitchen sink with water. Took out flow restrictor. Now it only takes 90 seconds to fill the sink with exactly the same volume. Not convinced that I saved any water. Oh, one more thing: those flow restricted toilets at work? Uh, Yeah. Now it only takes 2-3 flushes to do the same thing the single flush toilets used to do. The guys are so upset with this level of stupidity that they now run in and flush the toilets for no reason. The bean counter: "I don't get it. we put in flow restrictors and our water bill went up?"
