I was going to say that the next six months would be a Soviet style Scorched Earth policy,

But they have a chance at their August convention to (maybe) find a viable candidate that checks all the Leftist boxes,
If they can't THEN it'll be Scorched Earth till Jan 20, 2025

Same thing if they can't cheat enough after Nov. 5th.
