I have a '94 Ford Ranger. It has done a lot of carrying/dragging work on the farm and in the woods and it still works fine. I think I had it checked over and 'tuned up' once professionally, and I do routine maintenance here and there. Looks like hell, but still works fine. One of my good investments.

The 97 F-150 was a first year model. They suck regardless of manufacturer.
ReplyDeleteBut other makes first year models were never as fugly as those years of Ford.
DeleteAnd I didn't drive one, so the problems didn't bother me.
