Is the only commissioned warship on the U.S. Naval inventory that has ever sunk an enemy ship in battle.
Let that sink in.

On this day- 46 years ago
Two Americans Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin set foot on the moon.

Dear Tim McGraw
I've known since the `90s that you and Faith were big Democrat supporters and stood behind the Clinton White House.
Now, with your concert to fund gun-grabbers by using Sandy Hook as some kind of.... hook.
Everyone is tarting to see your hypocrisy.
But aside from your Liberal hopes- I just wanted you to see what I bought with all the money I didn't spend on yours or Faith Hills music.
Purdy li'l thing isn't it?
All shiny and new and ready to put some Bambie meat on the table.
Not that a Walmart Cowboy would know anything about hunting.......

Just out of curiosity...
Is April 15 still BaG day, or not?
Because if it's not, I'll hold off on picking up the new Henry until it's more convenient for me- being as it's some 80 miles from either house...
But,,,Henry-

Update on the .22 that tried
Actually I don't know if I even mentioned getting that little Henry .22 with a scope from the pawn shop a year or-so ago.
Whoever had that gun before me had some seriously jacked eyes or firing position.
From 25 yards I couldn't even hit a 2foot square box.
Then I brought it in to about 15' and was shooting about 6" high and about 4 to the left.
After about half a box of ammo, I'm now hitting about 1" right and stringing them vertically just above the electric tap cross on the mud box at 25 yards.
It's getting too dark and mosquito-ey for any more.
I'll be picking up the BaG Henry in .357 Weds after work in Boerne, TX half an hour north of the job site I'm working at now and 90 min from home.

So, if pervy Uncle Joe does stumble over the candidate line...
Is his theme going to be the Georgia Satellites hit from the mid-80's?
Thanks to EBL for the photo trail-
Including an obvious 13 year old that is squeaked out about uncle BadToutch.

Hia, don't mind me...
I'm going to turn left here in about 7 miles, so I'm going to park my slow ass in the hammer lane and drive 65 no matter how close you get, and how many pass me on the right.
I know you don't mind :-D right?

From that location, you'd think Air Force.....
A Soldier, a Sailor, an Airman and a Marine got into an argument
about which branch of the service was The Best. The arguing became so
heated the four servicemen failed to see an oncoming truck as they
crossed the street.
They were hit by the truck and killed instantly. Soon, the four servicemen found themselves at the Pearly gates of Heaven. There, they met Saint Peter and decided that only he could be the ultimate source of truth and honesty. ...
So, the four servicemen asked him, Saint Peter, which branch of the United States Armed Forces is the best? Saint Peter replied, I can't answer that. However, I will ask God what He thinks the next time I see Him. Meanwhile, thank you for your service on Earth and welcome to Heaven.
Sometime later the four servicemen see Saint Peter and remind him of the question they had asked when first entering Heaven and asked Saint Peter if he was able to ask God for the answer to their answer?
Suddenly, a sparkling white dove lands on Saint Peters shoulder. In the doves beak is a note glistening with gold dust. Saint Peter opens the note, trumpets blare, gold dust drifts into the air, harps play crescendos and Saint Peter begins to read the note aloud to the four servicemen:
MEMORANDUM FROM THE DESK OF THE ALMIGHTY
TO: All Former Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines
SUBJECT: Which Military Service Is the Best
1. All branches of the United States Armed Forces are honorable and noble.
2. Each serves America well and with distinction.
3. Serving in the United States military represents a great honor warranting special respect, tribute, and dedication from your fellow man.
4. Always be proud of that.
Warm Regards,
GOD, USN, Ret.

It's starting to look like
People who enjoy their "White Privilege" are going to live here...
Covered over is the 60 years of powdered animal waste and straw.
Ceiling removed and 60 years worth of rat and mice sh!t shoveled out the back door.
The knob and tube wiring- along with the mice-gnawed Romex with bare conductors on 20 Amp breakers are gone.
The walls are closed in and we have modern wiring.
