Now she'll have a chance to vote against Hillary in 2016.

So.... According to this chart....
we may as well just raise chickens because they're easier to take care of than rabbits and just as tasteless and lacking mouth feel....
The only real drawback with chickens is that we won't have soft leather to use...I guess.

So we went to the funshow today
Had lots of ammo for sale and for not much more than you can buy on a real store.
Lots of .22 out there.
We got 200 rounds for $20 and it looks like my .357 lever gun is going to be one of those Grail guns.
We walked the entire Saxet gun show and saw three. I din't like any enough to put down some $700 on.
It looks like I'm going to have to change what I'm looking for and see how available a wheel gun is in .45LC.

An issue involving the new "safe" fuel can
Someone had an excellent analogy about the creeping effects of government over-reach using the common fuel can as an example.
It went something like this- Some cube-dweller at a .GOV agency decided that the old fuel can (that worked and didn't spill fuel all over) was too dangerous.
So they mandated a new kind of spout...that didn't work.
Then they mandated another kind that spilled fuel all over (making thing safer, you know).
Then they redid the regulations several times until we get the lates "safety can that we have today.
It's an automatic spring closing cap that operates by pulling back on the carrying handle.
Except- that the ONLY way to secure it in a pick-up bed is to use that same handle to secure it to the bedrail.
THEN when someone drops a grill into the next lane over and you have to make sudden braking and evasion maneuvers from the car next to you ....
That same handle will spill diesel from the canted-over can.
Then we get into the aerodynamics of a pick-up with a closed tailgate and what it does with half a gallon of sloshing diesel.

Compare and contrast-
This anchor detail on the USS George Washington also drops anchor in waters too deep.
They do a controlled drop without an E-efing- 7 running around with his hands jammed in his pockets.
This is how it's supposed to go..........

I think I found the problem with the chain locker
You can see the reason for the dysfunctional anchor room at 0:45, 0:54 1:07 and a good long look starting at 1:35.

Just throwing this thought out
Since 0bama and the rest of his Minions don't feel the need to obey any laws they don't like,,,,,,,,,,
Why do we keep hearing about that 2008 law that says you can't deport Central Americans, when 0bama has a Pen and a Phone, and can change any laws he wants on a whim?
Yeah- I know.
Just had to get it out into the open :-)

This looks like the new viral video in my FB circle
I'm sure it would work at idle, but can anyone tell me how he got it to 55MPH just by letting the intake slurp vapors?
To my knowledge, to get more speed, you need more fuel.
If you take out the fuel pump and don't add a way to push more fuel- it'll stay at idle...no?

And the dinosaurs in the Establishment roared their defiance
Because when Thad Cockran used Democrat voters to win over a Tea Partier...we're told "we have to join together and beat the Democrat" :-)
But when one of theirs gets beaten like a red-headed stepchild, it's we'll give our money to DeeCee in retubution for losing, and so what if a Dem wins next time.
"Virginia's Republican 7th District Committee, which is dominated by supporters of outgoing House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, voted to send most of its money to the national GOP, The Washington Post reported.
The move means that Dave Brat, who deposed Cantor as the district's Republican congressional candidate, will not be able to tap the transferred $400,000 for his campaign against Democrat, and fellow Randolph-Macon College professor, Jack Trammell.
Brat supporter Robert Stuber said the committee's move was "retribution" so that the Brat campaign wouldn't have access to the funds that Cantor had raised.
The committee's decision indicates the difficulties Brat will have in uniting his tea party faction with the district's established Republican organization. It also shows that tensions between the two camps remain deep at the national level, according to the Post."

Neighbors
So I was spreading the last 20 yard load of rock in the driveway today and the neiggghbors decided they needed to get a close hand look at how I was doing.....
Hmmmmmmmm..........
After that wind storm two weeks ago- (it's been that long since I posted?)
These are just the thing to take care of the only two things I'm worried about weather-wize Wild fire and wind storm.
All I need is a welder and cutting torch and no worries about structural integrity.
Plus it's weathertight as soon as it's here.............

Fridays- they're like that
So I was staying at the ranch in Seguin and around 12:30 the wind picked up and the rain and thunder started.
Then I was in the middle of a HUGE wind storm, It felt like the 20x30 house on 10'poles was ready to lift off for Oz.
then the power went out.
What I found Fri AM when I went out to look was the top of my power pole hanging from the transformer feed.
Then I saw the three Oak trees on the ground.
Kooks like G-d want's me to build a timber frame house because he's giving me so much free wood...
