Your Monday Rule 5 puzzle for 6-03

It was the third of June on a sleepy, dusty Delta dayaay.
I was out chopping cotton and my brother was bailing hayaayay....

The big one below the fold~
...And I know 'chopping cotton' means hoeing weeds, but you do a quick image search for "chopping cotton" and see what you get.

  1. It depends on which search engine you use. Google shows almost all blacks. Duck Duck Go shows about half whites and half blacks.

My parents, grandparent , my father's brothers, and my wife have all chopped and picked cotton. All of them are white.

  2. I brought that song in to a jam group I had today. There were four of us old enough to remember the song, although only three of us did.

Seeing those crazy eyes reminded me of this little ditty:

    Lizzie Borden took an ax,
And gave her father forty whacks.
When she saw what she had done,
    She gave her mother forty-one.
