Have you ever noticed

That on a lot of these cell phone games, if it's like one on one or a team vs team.....
That the good guys are blue and your opponent is red?

Couldn't be aby kind of subtle thought manipulation there at all.

Could it?

  1. Or it could be copying the military where the red team is the opforce. And the parties were reversed with the Dems being red in the media, up until about 2000.

    1. I kinda doubt that these Millennials or whatever they're calling themselves who are making these games really know or care about OPFOR or military norms.

  2. Yep. They changed it because the Dems didn't like being associated with communism because of the color. I don't know why the colors were assigned the way they were before then, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Dems wanted red originally to take advantage of the "blue bloods/party of the rich" rhetoric.

  3. Back when the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus's were allowed to entertain the masses, there were two near identical units that traveled the nation by rail. The Blue Unit and the Red Unit. I think that the politicians stole this idea for their own style of Circus.
