Democrats-

 The party of complete corruption.
And paid-off judges.

The party that hands out ballots to illegals and refuses to let anyone know who they are.
So they can keep turning out voting system into a 3rd world Socialist paradise.

Day five of the Christmas Carol countdown

Coincidentally this is one I had in the lineup before I noticed our opera singer finally discovered punk.

She seems to have lived a sheltered life...

Here's the original without the interruptions-

F*ing lighen up, Francis

Liberals have absolutely no sense of humor.

PETArds are even worse responding to a joke from James Cameron about dolphins (the mammal, not the fish).

I'm going to start referring to 0biden as

Aqualung....

So I was fabbing up some mounts for fog lamps-

And needed to tap some holes.
I have the taps, but not the holder- because as little as I use them, it's not worth paying for.
I couldn't find a small enough adjustable wrench to hold the tap, so I used a Vice-grips. But it kept snapping off when it started to dig in.

So I went to the welding box because I was sure I had that good black 8" wrench in there. Nope.
But I did see my gauge wrench that might work.

Daym Skippy!

I probably need to harden it before I use it again, though....

This time she's geeking out over the score of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".

$8.80

 For a Bill Miller #7.
At another McJoint you'd pay that for a dried-up patty on a bun and they'd call it a large- instead of a normal serving.

Your 11-28 Monday Rule 5 puzzle

Sorry it's late, but I was running errands all over S.Central Texas today and came home to this (because Blogger doesn't like U-toob shorts, I guess).

Black Friday

It just occurred to me that I don't think I've heard as much hype as usual from the propaganda mills about huge crowds expected today.

Either they decided by themselves, or DeeCee put the word out to keep it on the low down this year.

Same for Cyber Monday.....

So I came out to this-

 This morning.
Fucking animals.

No, seriously- it was donkeys, and I should have kept the box in the bed of the truck.

But-
Out with the old-

On with the new-

Next is a commanding horn instead of a subdued harmony.
The Dakota had a better horn that either of the more expensive trucks.

Winter is coming

That's what NOAA and the local weather-guessers said.
Be prepared for freezing temps.

32 is freezing.

32 and calm winds is freezing.
40 and windy feels a lot colder than 32 and calm.
Modern horses evolved on the steppes of northern Europe with brutal cold winters.

Mini horses have a lot of hardy Shetland Ponies in them.
I tell the wife this, but she insists on "taking care of them"

So we get this- for a night that didn't even put a skim of ice on the water troughs....

We now live in the movie "Idiocracy"

The only things they got wrong were:

-Flushing Lay-Z-boys
-Bar coded IDs
-A way to optimistic 500 years into the future.

I'm going to get ahead of this right now.

A polling machine is nothing but a glorified adding machine. WHY does it need to be connected to the internet and have votes shipped somewhere besides the election headquarters?

All the way up to Y2K and the FLA kerfuffle- we knew who the winner was that night.
Now that the Dems got what they wanted in Y2K -it takes days or weeks to decide who won.

When are we going to start hearing about the bags of Democrat votes "found" in abandoned warehouses nobody's been to in years?
When are we going to be hearing about the votes "accidentally" left in rental cars returned yesterday?

Will Republicans act like anything other than the slightly more responsible side of the Uniparty?
My bet is -NO.

And I ended up having to buy a Ford, because the Z-71 Sierra had dashboard lighting problems.

Your Rule 5 11-07 Monday puzzle

The shooter on the "grassy knoll"

I wish I could wait on firing the money canon, but the Dakota- being a Dodge decided that now was the time it wanted a $260 battery... or a battery AND alternator.
I already spent too much back in Feb. when gas was going through the roof and EVERYBODY was looking for smaller trucks.
Plus it's a Dodge, so I knew it was going to need new front end parts... Then a differential....

But....

I'm trying to talk myself out of this

 2017 Sierra 2500.

Or this F-250 ...Which won't be that hard because of what I think about Fords.

I really like my Silverado but it's showing it's age- and it's a damage magnet.
Of all the damage it had done to it, I only did two hickies. The rest were added by second parties, including getting rear0ebded twice,

Oak trees

There are many different species of oaks, but they are basically divided into White Oaks and Red oaks.
Red Oaks have more varieties than White oaks.

Red Oak acorns need stratification, but White oaks don't.
Post Oaks are White Oaks, so I can directly plant the acorns that dropped into planters and set them out on the porch.

Oak trees are hardy and don't need special care once germinated as long as you don't damage the roots in replanting.

I am going to start acorns in foot long bags on the porch and hopefully enough will survive to be planted to make path from our island of oaks to the forest that we are separated from- about 150 yards.
