So there I was making deliveries up in Killeen.

It was on the warm side, so I had my sleeves rolled up.

Out of McDonalds came this kid and his battle bud.

 

He saw my Seabee tat on my forearm and said Navy?!?

 

I said yes and his battle pinned my elbows behind my back.

This guy took off my cover and poured Rip-IT over my head, threw a handful of Motrin at me and yelled...

"This is Army country!"

If anyone's been looking for 30-30 ammo, you'll know it's like gold- not profuse and expensive.
I bought three boxes for something like $1.50/RD plus tax and shipping.
Which the prices on gunbroker reflect.

The .357 Mag ammo I have in abundance (plus the .38spl +p) are a lot less for the ammo, but the prices for the rifles show the ammo is available and affordable.

So then I found out about two weeks after I bought those 30-30 boxes- that Seguin is having a gun show tomorrow.

So I guess I'll see what the have in .357 lever action flavor or Mini-14 which is about equal to what they want for a lever action.
And what I can get for a 30-30 Win and about four boxes of hunting ammo....

Prices for .223 are much more reasonable especially if you want to wear out your cartridge extractor a lot faster.

 If I would have pulled the trigger two months ago, that Dakota would have been a 3/4 ton diesel.

Poland understands what's happening in Ukraine

 They know what happens when countries guarantee to help defend them from invasions- but bag on that promise because it's inconvenient.............. Looking at you France and UK.

It's the same thing they're watching now when the US and UK don't step up and uphold their 1994 agreement to help defend Ukraine when they gave up their nukes.

Now  they're having a go at Germany for being so conforming to Russia and running interference on supplies to Ukraine.

The reason I remembered to vote was another attack ad from Don Huffines that sounds just like a Democrat attack ad.

Abbot lost me when his tough talk didn't match the (non) action, so I went with Col. West, and I'll vote for whoever's on the Republican ticket- probably.

So we paid off pur Wells-Fargo mortgage a week ago.

It finally went through with about a thousand Dollars extra of fees and other graft.

Yesterday they charged me a service fee of $15.
............and paid me  .08 of interest.

Now I have to decide whether to go with NFCU (which is on the west side of San Antonio -a good hour drive away)
Or to the local branch of RBFCU. I'm sure the interest is about the same for a checking account.
But NFCU is a Navy credit union and Randolph-Brooks is Air Force.
Not that it really matters because a Cloud Lice can do my finances as well as a Squid.

 That package of (fucking expensive) 30-30 came from San Antonio.
All you had to do was deliver it 45 miles EAST.

Now, because you fucked up with a bar code reader- it's on it's way to Coranado, California.

Four hundred and two Dollars

 Is what it cost me to fill 150 propane tank today.
The driver said I was lucky I ordered it last week because they raised the price .20/gal Tuesday.

Last year about this time it was $1.87/gal.
Today I paid 2.86/gal.

Maybe when the Republicans take back the House (if they don't drop the ball on the one yard line) they can impeach both the pretenders in the Withe House.
-Or at least put some kind of limit on Executive Orders.

I sure am buying a lot more cat food

 I wonder what kind of extenders they're putting in.
A 30 pound bag used to last for almost two months, but here lately- maybe it's the weather- it seems like every time I turn around I'm trying to find some.
