So why didn't you just LIE to him?

You all didn't have a problem when you LIED to the CiC Trump when he told you to remove our troops from Syria.
You all did whatever you wanted in spite of what your constitutionally elected superior told you to do.

So why didn't you LIE to the meat puppet when he told you to abandon everything we had
(including civilians) in Afghanistan>

Dating myself

 Again....

And it still works better than the Wally-world POS it took over for.

Your Rule 5 Monday puzzle

I carried one that was the M-16 version of that.

This one was oddly hard for some reason.

As usual, the bigger one below the fold.

I told my boss something yesterday

Ten years ago, and probably as late as five years ago- nobody probably would have even thought the words would come out of anyone's mouth.

"I had to reboot the truck twice yesterday to get the pumps to work."

Different takes on happenings

I was listening to two different talk shows at work yesterday (and this morning- I guess....same workday) and each had it's own take on what the Democrats are doing.

The first one is a local host- Jack Riccardi on KTSA (and sounds a lot different than he looks)
Who thinks that the way the Democrat leadership (Pelosi, Schumer,,,Duckworth....) are acting not worried at all about how their support is completely crumbling because of the meat pupped 0biden's actions show something bigger is going on.
Pelosi and Schumer owe their cushy jobs to staying in power, and neither one seems to want to do anything to stop the slide.

The other hand has Redeye radio with the two hosts Gary McNamera and Eric Harley (who also look a lot different than they sound).

Who both think the Democrats are running scared because of the problems whoever is running 0biden is causing. They think Democrats know what's coming and are trying to get whatever they can of their anti-American agenda through before they're all out of power.

I don't know sometimes I think they're to crafty to get into trouble -because they're the party of lies and deceit and knifing an ally in the back- by creating such (on the surface) self owns and someone deep behind he scenes has it all planned out for them to win at whatever they're playing for.

Another part can't understand WHY they're letting this go on- why Pelosi isn't screaming at whoever is controlling 0biden to stop fucking up her  agenda.

"Keel moose and squirrel"

If you were old enough to enjoy then on Saturday mornings

In addition to producing animated series based on such characters as Crusader Rabbit, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Dudley Do-Right, Peabody and Sherman, Hoppity Hooper, George of the Jungle, Tom Slick, and Super Chicken, Joseph Ward Cohen Jr., also known as Jay Ward, founbded a company, Jay Ward Productions, that designed the trademark characters for the Cap'n Crunch, Quisp, and Quake breakfast cereals and made TV commercials for those products.
Ward and friend/partner Alex Anderson lost the rights to the Crusader Rabbit character in a legal fight with businessman Shull Bonsall, who had taken over the assets of the bankrupt Jerry Fairbanks company, and a new color Crusader Rabbit series under a different producer premiered in 1956. Ward then pursued an unsold series idea, "The Frostbite Falls Revue." Taking place in a TV studio in the North Woods, the proposed series featured a cast of eccentrics such as newsman Oski Bear and two minor characters named Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Bullwinkle J. Moose, described in the script treatment as a "French-Canadian moose."
Premiering on ABC in 1959 (and moving to NBC two years later), "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends" contained a mix of sophisticated and low-brow humor. Thanks to Ward's genial partner Bill Scott (who contributed to the scripts and voiced Bullwinkle and other characters) and their writers, puns were used often and shamelessly: in a "Fractured Fairy Tales" featuring Little Jack Horner, upon pulling out the plum, Jack announced, "Lord, what foods these morsels be!" Self-referential humor was another trademark: in one episode, the breathless announcer (William Conrad) gave away the villain's plans, prompting the villain to grab the announcer from offscreen, bind and gag him, and deposit him visibly within the scene. The show skewered popular culture, taking on such subjects as advertising, college sports, the Cold War, and TV itself. The hapless duo from Frostbite Falls, Minnesota, blundered into unlikely adventures much as Crusader and Rags had before them, pursued by "no-goodnik" spies Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, perennially under orders to "keel moose and squirrel."
In a running-joke tribute to Ward, many of his cartoon characters had the middle initial "J.", presumably standing for "Jay" (although this was never stated explicitly). The cartoonist Matt Groening later gave the middle initial "J." to many of his characters as a tribute to Ward.
Ward fought many heated battles over content with the network and sponsor. The "Kirward Derby", a bowler hat that made everyone stupid and Bullwinkle a genius, was named (as a spoonerism) for Durward Kirby, sidekick of the 1950s and 1960s TV host Garry Moore and the co-host of Allen Funt's "Candid Camera." When Kirby threatened to sue, Ward quipped, "Please do! We need the publicity!"
An eccentric and proud of it, Ward was known for pulling an unusual publicity stunt that coincided with a national crisis. Ward bought an island in Minnesota near his home and dubbed it "Moosylvania," based upon the home of his Bullwinkle TV character. He and publicist Howard Brandy crossed the country in a van, gathering signatures on a petition for statehood for Moosylvania. They then visited Washington, D.C., and attempted to gain an audience with President John F. Kennedy. Unfortunately, they arrived at the White House the morning the Cuban Missile Crisis was breaking, and were ordered at gunpoint to drive off. (Wikipedia)
Happy Birthday, Jay Ward!

Remember when the Communist states were forcing immunisations on people?

 Especially school kids.

Oh- WAIT that's the "democracy" of the UK  forcing unproven shots onto kids without their parents consent.

Just like the Peoples Democrat of Australia locking their citizens down and imprisoning them for wrongthink.

Keeping Austin weird

I had to spend almost all of my shift in Austin last night. I don't know what was going on, but it seemed like someone took a gunnysack full of assholes, dropped in a handful of keys and shook it up.

Then they grabbed the bottom and flung it around so the assholes would be spread all over looking for the wreck they were supposed to get into.

And they found them. From Georgetown to the south side. One was even flipped on it's top on an intersection under I-35.

Then the wife reported that she found the two missing ponies on the neighbors land (it's for sale if you have an extra $800K).

So, the same Democrats

Who say they can't stop people from crapping in their streets are now going to force the entire working population in America to get a shot that wasn't even thought of 24 months ago.

That the same meat puppet told us not to trust because OrangeManBad had a hand in developing.

It's not about health, it's about control.
And the same sheeple who called Trump a dictator are now fine with this because
1- They agree with it

2- He just gave them permission to start the process of turning the unvaxxed it to 'the other', the unclean- the Jew in Nazi Germany.

Oh, bummer

Now we won't have f*cking lawless rioters from the Peoples Democrat Republic of Portlandistan coming down here to commit arson, looting and viscous assaults on unarmed people.

I've never been to Afghanistan

Never was and wouldn't go if they paid me.
But If I was there I would NEVER step foot on the last plane out.
Especially if it was an American plane.

Because even Stevie Wonder can see that SAM turning a $218 million C-17 into a flaming, smoking heap just to add more humiliation to 0bidens Afghan victory.
But the Xiden administration and all the woke military will be taken completely by surprise.............again.

So we got a speach yesterday

I hear the meat puppet that call itself president went and read a teleprompter.

He mumbled about the attack on the airport and how we're going to be coming after the masterminds who did it.
After watching Operation Clusterfuck- I'm sure who did it is quaking in their bedroom slippers right now.
We're leaving civilians behind because our enemy won't do what we ask when we say Pretty Please.

Right now almost everyone thinks this is a failure of the worst kind.
Given what I heard from Richard Cantu on the way home from work this morning- the mumbling struck fear into ISIS- ISL...whatever.
In two or three week, with the lies of the propaganda wing of the DNC going full bore- this won't be a  complete fiasco.
In a month, those left to their fate will be deserving it and in two months 0biden will be a hero for walking away from the war on terrorism.

The next attack here (which probably will come from the southern border) will be OrangeManBads fault.

Mini-14 vs AR15: Which is Better?

I'm looking and am having trouble deciding.

BUT- they aren't making noises about coming for the Mini-14 because it's not encased in scary black plastic.

Which makes it even moar badder.

Your Monday Rule 5 puzzle

And the big one below-

Wednesday, August 18, 2021

Anyone with any common sense would have seen this from last year

I didn't like it when Trump announced our pullout date from Afghanistan.

It gave terrorists time to plan and get ready to overtake an army that was only held together by money, not national pride- or anything else we as Americans would stay for.
It's an army of tribes, who would fight other tribes except for the U.S. keeping the lid on them.

But to just bug out in the middle of the night without forewarning anyone on the Afghani side was stupid and a sure way to let anyone know we didn't have their backs.

What da fuq did you expect to happen Milley? "Our intelligence told us it would be weeks or months before the entire country was under Taliban control".
I guess your intelligence was busy reading those books about "White Rage" you're so concerned about instead of -you know- actually giving good unbiased intel.

At least OrangeManBad would have had a reserve plan- instead of "EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES!!"

Now- what's this supposed to be distracting us from closer to home?

Tuesday, August 17, 2021

The KISS principle

 Keep It Stupid Simple.

We have five new trucks we deliver from. Three big and two smaller ones.
None are older than mid 2020.
Every one has already had problems with the .GOV required emissions.
Mostly sensors or software.

This truck has a sensor problem.
The sensor is not available in the entire CONUS.  Luckily it didn't affect the engine.
This time.

After this last attack on a gas pipeline and the resulting shortages- even where there was no direct impact- I decided to get at least one diesel truck.

After going through the first problem, I decided to would be pre-2006 about when DEF was mandated for light trucks.
I'm leaning toward Dodge and Chevy ..and a pre-1998 Ford.
Chevy was really light on their Duramax in those years, I had a 1500 Ram and still like the look of the first gen trucks (1995-2002) and I decided that after Ford fucked up their 1996 line of F-150's that I wouldn't drive one again.

Now the chip shortage has the prices of those trucks 2-3 times what they should be.
