There is not enought eye-bleach...

To put this on my blog.

But before you click- I have to ask. If it's yours, why do I have to pay for it?

...and remember what has been seen cannot be unseen.

But...I was told that alternative energy was good for the environment?

Now I'm hearing from the people responsible for cleaning up the 0bama administrations shining example of .GOV investment into Gaia is not all Skittles and unicorn poop?

“numerous containers of solvents and chemicals…and processing equipment contaminated with lead.”
“Essentially it looks like they left a pretty big mess behind,” San Jose State Assistant Professor Dustin Mulvaney told CBS 5. Mulvaney has written a white paper (.pdf) on solar industry waste for the Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition.
Looking at CBS 5’s video, Mulvaney said it’s hard to tell how much hazardous waste is at the Milpitas facility. But he said one thing is for sure.
“Materials labeled hazardous waste require a lot more protocol, so its actually a lot more expensive to clean,” Mulvaney said. “It’s very sad looking at this facility taken apart like this, because a lot of money went into building this.”

I.
Am.
Stunned!

Solyndra was using hazardous chemicals to make money from nothing?
Shocked I tell ya!
But, like all good Liberals- they're expecting someone else to clean up the mess they made--for free.

Three months ago, CBS 5 caught Solyndra tossing millions of dollars worth of brand new glass tubes used to make solar panels. Now the bankrupt solar firm, once touted as a symbol of green technology, may be trying to abandon toxic waste.

I just took a quick trip through Liberal-land

That being the Yahoo! Correspondents dinner last night.

In which all the hot Hollywood people were shown to their best...if you want to call it that in a slideshow.

Personally, I was always under the impression that Hollywood stars were beter looking and more eligant than the rest of us,,,
I have to say that I've seen better looking people in my local American Legion or VFW than are shown in that tongue-bath from Yahoo.com's MSM adoration site.

Still picking on the girl, huh Barry?

So it's three years since the Chicago Jeezus won the election and he still can't stop picking on the Republican VICE-Presidential candidate.

It's like the VICE-President had them running more scared than the 'Maverick' John McCain, the PRESIDENTIAL candidate on the RINO side.

It just goes to show that the ones they fear most, they go after hardest- Right Herman Cain? Right Sarah?

Right Mittens- the Establishment Candidate that the MSM told us they were afraid of?

Puppy training

This little pissnozzle can't take two steps without leaving a trail on the carpet.

I don't know if leashing him close to me will work or not.

UPDATE-
Looks like he was just really dehydrated.
Now I just need to get him to realize that HIS bathroom is outside the front door.

We seem to have lost the connection

So- daughter and SiL got a puppy over at camp Pendelton...to go along with the new granddaughter.

Youngest moved back to San Antonio to save money while SiL is in the `Stan...except she basically got ripped off every time she turned around, the movers (who are used to Uncle Sugar paying the freight) doubled her moving bill once they had everything loaded on the truck, Mom-in-laws house she was moving into got it's compresser stolen, the stove was gone and she had to buy a new refrigerator.

And the dog.....
The dog who is still puppyish, but has his adult teeth is still not housebroken.
I traded Meg (the black female) for him to try getting him to associate the whole dog pack running to the door to pee thing...but-
He doesn't squat to pee, he just lets go as he's walking.
Every time he gets up, I watch him- ready to swoop him outside, then I step in a trail of pee.

She's exasperated and I'm getting not happy about that whole bladder/walking/ and finding cold pee with my stocking feet.

If someone doesn't get a clue real fast, he's going to end up somewhere where he doesn't want to be.
Because if he were a puppy, I'd see him squat and he'd be outside before he knew it.

Any suggestions?
I think I wasted $5 on training pads, because he doesn't even associate whats going out with getting yelled at when I see him doing it- and I know it doesn't help, but he gets his nose rubbed in it before he's chucked outside.

UPDATE-
What would make a dog thirsty all the time?
The other three (with the cats) went through a gallon of water a day.
This one must have already drunk almost a gallon by himself (before I put it out of reac arond 8:30 tonight.

There's a lot of crunching going on here

Something that took months to build and was someones pride and joy gone in almost ten minutes.

As someone who is a creationist, all I can say bout this is

Fire up the barbi- we have shrimp to cook!

Not just any shrimp, but giant cannibal shrimp for twice the shrimpy goodness.

Because unlike those who believe in the Darwinist survival of the fittest, and want to impoverish humans to save a nonviable subset of a subspecies from inevitable extinction, I eagerly await them at my local HEB.

testing

Just to see if it posts at 6AM Friday...

 UPDATE-
That's weird.
I just posted about giant carnivorous shrimp, but it was in the old blogger editor (from my bookmarks).
This one is the new style....

What's scary, is that these people vote

Here you have a guy on FB who got a tat of his daughters Kindergarten artwork on his side.

But what's more idiotic is all the support this guy got.
Doesn't anyone think ahead anymore? Judging from his tats and pants (and yes I am being judgmental), I think she's going to be a disappointment to him, and he or she will resent that tat when they get older.

Why the TSA will never go away

Because the new normal in .GOV and citizen relations needs soulless automatons who blindly follow orders.

In a phone interview from her home in Fountain Valley, Calif., Croft said Brademeyer tried to no avail to get TSA agents to use a wand on the frightened girl or allow her to walk through the metal detector again. She also said TSA agents wanted to screen her granddaughter alone in a separate room.
"She was kicking and screaming and fighting and in hysterics," Croft said. "At that point my daughter ran up to her against TSA's orders because she said, 'My daughter is terrified, I can't leave her.'"
The incident went on for maybe 10 minutes, until a manager came in and allowed agents to pat the girl down while she was screaming but being held by her mother. The family was then allowed to go to their next gate with a TSA agent following them.
Croft said that for the first few nights after coming home, Isabelle had nightmares and talked about kidnappers. She said TSA agents had shouted at the girl, telling her to calm down and saying the suspect wasn't cooperating.
"To a 4-year-old's perspective that's what it was to her because they didn't explain anything and she did not know what was going on," Croft said. "She saw people grabbing at her and raising their voices. To her, someone was trying to kidnap her or harm her in some way.

Your new reality.

Don't worry Citizen, it's for your own good!

Good morning!

That's looking at a glass half full, there Reince

Just because Romney swept five states Tuesday only means that he's really the only big dog in the race.
It doesn't mean that Conservatives are happy about the Establishment picking our candidate..........AGAIN!

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, Priebus was asked if those primary victories Tuesday confirm that conservatives are now backing the presumptive GOP nominee.

“I think so. I think that Republicans, conservatives, tea party, everything in between, we’re ready to go, and Mitt Romney is the presumptive nominee of our party. And we’re excited about it,” Priebus said
.

I haven't seen any numbers, and we probably won't- about what kind of turnout there was in those five states, and all the following primaries------------since again, I won't be able to vote FOR any real Conservatives in the presidential race; so I won't bother.
The only reason I'm going to bother to turn up at all is to vote for Ted Cruz for Senator.

Even died-in-the-wool Leftists can't ignore the money

And the NYT is loosing it as fast as MEEchelle downs burgers and fries.

Now they have to realize that not all the Libs in America can keep the SS Times afloat by themselves, and they 'promise' to start doing some hard-hitting in depth background about their Chicago Jeezus.

Now, though, the general election season is on, and The Times needs to offer an aggressive look at the president’s record, policy promises and campaign operation to answer the question: Who is the real Barack Obama?
Many critics view The Times as constitutionally unable to address the election in an unbiased fashion. Like a lot of America, it basked a bit in the warm glow of Mr. Obama’s election in 2008.
Basked a bit? Dood, you heated the entire NYT building for a week off that election.

According to a study by the media scholars Stephen J. Farnsworth and S. Robert Lichter, The Times’s coverage of the president’s first year in office was significantly more favorable than its first-year coverage of three predecessors who also brought a new party to power in the White House: George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan.
Writing for the periodical Politics & Policy, the authors were so struck by the findings that they wondered, “Did The Times, perhaps in response to the aggressive efforts by Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal to seize market share, decide to tilt more to the left than it had in the past?”
SRSLY? If you slid any more to the left, you'd come full circle and be reporting from the right.

These are the right priorities. To date, The Times has delivered some clear-eyed coverage of the administration’s mixed record on the housing crisis, banks, the economy, Afghanistan and other issues. Now is the time to shift to a campaign coverage paradigm that compares promises with execution, sheds light on campaign operations and assesses the president’s promises for a second term.
I asked Richard Stevenson, the political editor overseeing campaign coverage, about these matters, and he offered a detailed e-mail response, noting that “we take very seriously our responsibility to report without favoritism.”
He added, “We remind ourselves every day of the need to provide readers — voters — with as much news, information and context as possible about the candidates, their records, their characters, their positions and the influences on them, including their campaign donors.”

You DO realize, don't you Mr. Highly educated editors- that if you funneled just 5% of the wolf pack you went after Sarah Palin with, and did just a little background on your plastic candidate- that we'd have a different president right now?

Oh- wait..............

Too bad there Officer Obie

That brand new i-fone see-through-the-walls technology isn't where you want it yet.

And our Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights still mean something.

And you J.R. Highschoolers, you'll still have to get your jollies off the old mans mags, or the intratuubzz (if it's not blocked).

This X-ray vision has a range of..............inches (at the most), so you won't be able to perv the next door hottie unless your a TSA guy, and you officer doper-doggies won't be able to watch what I'm doing inside my house because you have that Constitutional blanket protection called "The Sheriffs Hunch" to spy on my private home when I'm not doing anything illegal.

Well, that's good news- I guess

Robin Gibbs is out of his coma for now...

Happy Earth Day!

You thought I forgot, didn't you?

Oh,,,you want content?

Poor Keifer-
Got himself fired from a third rate Tv/interwebz channel for being a doosh-nozzle and now he's wandering around NTC aimless and lost.     Or did he join #OWS? Hard to tell from that description, isn't it?

Is he packing on the pounds,or does wearing a suit on TeeWee make you look thinner?

...OR- you could have ignored it for the next three minutes

That way instead of f*cking with your phone, you could have remembered to lower your landing gear!

If you weren't 'really' reading that flurry of text alerts you just got at 1,000 feet before landing.

They don't have refrigerators in Chicago?

Or else Mooch is a really bad food shopper. -or their maid was a bad shopper....

Because id Barry ever wanted fresh fruit, he'd leave his car and take a subway to go to a store that had fresh fruit....or something.
Because taking one of your cars that two working adults had to go to work with would hurt Gaia (somehow) if you wanted a piece of fresh fruit and your wife was too  ...unhealthy to buy when she went food shopping- and you didn't have any fresh fruit in the refrigerator................

You know, I'm really into the meat and carbs thing- but even I have some kind of fresh fruit or veggies in the fridge.
It's probably destined for a side dish, or ingredient in my carnivorous diet, but you can still eat carrots raw.

Do they teach officers about addresses at the academy?

I'm just wondering if they even mention looking at the house address and the warrant, informants lie, or Sheriffs Hunch before entering the wrong address and shooting another dog.

AUSTIN, Texas (CBS Houston) – An Austin police officer fatally shoots a dog after showing up at the wrong address for a domestic violence call.
When police officer Thomas Griffin arrived to the address last Saturday, he witnessed Michael Paxton playing Frisbee with his dog, Cisco.
According to reports obtained by CBS Houston, the officer yelled at Paxton to show him his hands. The police car dashboard cam then caught Cisco coming to his owner’s rescue by barking at the officer. The officer responded by yelling, “Get your dog!”
Griffin then opened fire on Cisco, killing the dog.

So, I guess if you didn't have the means for putting a dog down, you just call in a domestic dispute at your neighbors house and the cops will show up at your door and shoot your dog for you, no questions asked.

Something to start your hump-day

...And something to lighten your day

Because, for some reason- the cold war is coming back:

With lyrics that I didn't know in Adak-

I always thought it was a kind of pretty song, but my German isn't all that good...
AND all the big bloggers are doing the Cold War meme....

So, just WHo is this "Union of Concerned Scientists"?

That Newsmax cited as a source - when they put this out about electric cars.

And how good they are for the environment.
Electric vehicles in the United States save money on fuel and are less polluting than most gasoline-powered vehicles, even in places where electricity is made by burning coal, the Union of Concerned Scientists said in a report released on Monday.

"Drivers should feel confident that owning an electric vehicle is a good choice for reducing global warming pollution, cutting fuel costs, and slashing oil consumption," said Don Anair, a senior engineer on UCS's clean vehicles program
.

Except that you don't make mention of the lakes of caustic chemicals and heavy metal pollution in the drinking water of the Chinese peasants who live near the factories supplying the electric guts to these Gaia friendly happy-mobiles.

I'm getting old

I didn't know the street slang for a bag of mixed Rx drugs was a "bag of Skittles"....

Can't remember where I saw that at, or I'd send you there.

Water, the wonder liquid

or is it a chemical compound, since there are two different atoms?

It's a universal solvent (it just takes a lot longer on some things).
It's life sustaining, and if you're a Wal-mart supplier- it's a perfect extender.

Inject it into meat, so the customer gets the same weight for less product (until they cook it).
Add more to the  beverage selection, and a pinch more concentrate- same amount for the same price.
In the store brand "preserves" add even more water to the 1 1/2 strawberries  and a touch more man made chemicals and poof- you have a peanut butter and strawberry soup sandwich.

The new culture wars

We went through at least one in the `60's-early `70's.

But that wasn't really a culture war, more like a scrimmage of those of divergent futures with the same history.
Both sides were coming from the same places (common history, schools, whole family's...), but the professors, union bosses and Hollywood gave the Hippies a different vision of the future.

Today- the entire education system, along with the race hustlers have taken our common history away and substituted their alternate vision of history and morals.
Now we don't have much -except for language and currency in common with the "urban" culture who has always been told by race hustlers and the education system that they have their own culture and to try to get ahead by working for it and getting a 'real' education is "acting white".

Because hate and resentment is such an easier emotion to manipulate than racial co-understanding and common outlook.

Guess what I'll be doing today

Except that it happened when I was going uphill and don't have a fully illuminated genUine accessory shift knob.

UPDATE-
Wasn't that bad, last time I changed the pads -I put a loop in the rubber line and it rubbed against the wheel stop. Pads were fine and  didn't have to change the drivers side, so everything except one hose went back.

You might want to bookmark this

This page is for Texas voters, but there is a box to click and save for your state.

Funny thing is, on the Democrat side you find more people running for more positions (at the same zipcode) than on the Republican side....

HMMmm.....

Naw...I can't imagine why I'd be the least bit suspicious.
