Anyone hear the news about Paul R. Hall?

If not, I'm really not surprised.

If there was any news on the Liberal legacy media, it would have probably been sympathetic to him.

See, Paul was just convicted and sentenced to 25 years in prison for leaking information on our Naval ship movements to terrorists in the Mid-east. As a Signalman on the USS Benfold, he had information on ship movements and the battle groups makeup and tactics- while travelling through the straights of Hormuz back in 2001.

NO, he didn't have anything to do with the USS Cole- except sing the praises of those who did it.

See, another reason besides his anti-American acts that the MSM overlooked was the fact that he changed his name to Hassan Abu-Jihaad.

Guess which religion he was part of?

Will someone PLEASE tell me

Whee were all these teachers when I was in school?

Tonight we introduce you to a teacher who just elevated the kid into stratosperic social circles at his J.R. High school for getting it on with a 'very' hittable sub.

I mean, look at the horrible female pedophile who sentence the poor child to a lifetime of angst and regret.

Oh, good God!

Now they're comparing McCain with Churchill.

How far does the Weekly Standard want to go?

McCain might be more successful in wooing conservatives if he claimed the mantle of a different Republican icon, Winston Churchill, a maverick distrusted in his day by Conservatives and a man whom McCain praised frequently in his books. The parallels between McCain and Churchill are striking and instructive.

~snip~
Both have felt most at home in battle, whether in war or political chambers, and have shared a restlessness to advance their own careers and the cause of their countries.

It goes on and on about how they both took stands to enhance their nations security, etc, etc,,,
And I don't have a problem with McCain that way.

What the article failed to do was connect McCain and Churchill in the way that McCain took pleasure in stabbing Conservatives in the back.
Every
time
he
had
the
chance.

It doesn't show Churchill trying to open the doors (and coffers) of his country to millions of lawbreakers.

It doesn't show how Churchill stifled political speech with his version of the McCain/Feingold act.

It doesn't show how Churchill torpedoed his own party's ability to sway the controlling party by his version of the 'Gang of fourteen' and then have his opposition gangsters blow off the agreement weeks later.

Why should I think the cat won't drink that cream now?

I'm hearing alot about this non-story

You've probably heard about the guy who was using a "BLOWTORCH!!!" to light his heater.

I'm not sure where it was -exactly, or if they were talking about the fuel from the PROPANE torch or the LP heater.

That BLOWTORCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is really no worse than using a match to light the pilot tight.
In some cases it might be easier. I know on some mobile homes, that I've had to dip a long bamboo skewer in PVC glue and light it just to keep a flame past a wall of wind while maneuvering to the pilot light.
OR- he may have had a bad thermocouple and had to heat it up in order to get it working.

I have NO idea what this article is saying

Especially about the Cricket part.

I understnd the streaker got a god hit, but still don't understand the first para much at all.
(Don't click the link if you're offended by male butt cheeks.............oops, sorry- too late, huh?)

Guess you have to be part of the English empire, and us Americans are out of the loop.

I'm burnt out and tired- don't really feel like posting- and I stepped on a nail this morning. I've been on my feet all day long, and I still need to pay my taxes.
And my S.S. but I can't find any forms to tell me how much I have to throw away.

We have three Libs running for Prez., and a Congress who wants to change America into 1939 Italy.

At least it's humpday and I'm on the downhill slide.

Y'all ahve a better one tomorrow- ya hear!

A global warming question

Ok, if I understand correctly -ALL of the Presidential candidates have signed onto the man made global warming scam. Right?

That means that man and his machines are the sole cause of anything changing atmospheric wise.

Ok, why are the two Dems flying their people all over Texas to have their people spew thousands of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere with no thought to the 'fragile' environment?
-Because they 'care'? Or because their 'higher purpose' makes it worth the pollution?

Which is why EVERY presidential candidate -from both parties- want us to pay $5/gal for any kind of fuel next year.
But don't worry, the stranglehold of 'evil oil' will be broken- replaced by 'Big Ethanol', and the food you can't afford.

Nice, I wonder if the need electrician/operators in Fiji?

Hey ,,,,buddy, got a jackhammer?

if you do, I can score you a NAZI tank from WWII.

No! Really!

Don't hit that BACK button!

See Bulgaria has some that they don't really need any more because ummm,,,,,,,,,,now Bulgaria doesn't need them because they're now members of NATO.
And the wall that they're part of isn't needed anymore.

I think you'd need some starting fluid and a good pair of jumper cables if you want to drive it away.

1100 Springs

Found them on the Outlaw

Longhaied, tatood hippie freeks

Some things just aren't right

Sometimes it's as simple as a misleading name.

I'm looking at a recipe site, trying to figure out what I want to do with the frozen turkey roast I have in the freezer and what I need to buy on the weekly shopping trip.

I came by this "White Turkey Chili" recipe and it's not what I was expecting.
The only thing 'Chili-ish' about it would be the Cumin, Green chilies and Garlic powder. The rest is almost your usual white sauce casserole glop.

Which I can't see complimenting the green chilies.

Ladies, , ,

Just because Karen has a giving husband, and her birthday is soon- there is no reason to hold your significant other to the same standards as me. You don't need to pressure them about material things.
Just remember that it's the thought that counts, and be glad that they remembered at all.

I'm really too modest to admit what I bought, but I just dropped $300 on Karen's birthday here.
That's on top of the birthday present she's going to get as suggested by El Capitan in a post earlier in the week.

Please, you don't need to post your comments of congratulations on Karen having such a wonderful and giving husband, she knows how self effacing I really am.

SENATOR John McCain and the little people

I made this point in several comments on other blogs about SENATOR John McCain and the use of Obabma's middle name. The way he rushed to the nearest news camera to distance himself from those comments from a radio talkshow host.

Something you all have to remember is thast the top three candidates for president are in the same exclusive 100 member club. They consider themselves to be the elete of America, their only peers are former members of "the Club" , other Leaders of forgein countries and Royalty.

It's no wonder that SENATOR John McCain jumped to the defense of his fellow SENATOR,,,, Barrak Hussien Obama... It's a natural reaction to protect 'one of yours' from the great unwashed class of ...others who can't be in your exclusive club.

SENATOR McCain knows this.
So does SENATOR Obama, and to a certain extent
SENATOR Clinton would pull her punches, too

Because what family members can do to each other is forbidden to the 'others' who are outside of their incestual relationship with each other.
You know, a family can be in a bloody fight until someone 'other' steps in and then they'll circle the wagons against the 'outsider'.

I've seen three things this week about SENATOR McCain defending his rival SENATORS against (relatively minor) attacks from the unwashed.

That's us.

Roger Clemens and Congress

Two things I'm curious of:
  • What does Henry Waxman (D-nostrills) and his oversight committee have to do with steroids in sports?
Really, what (aside from free publicity) do they have to do with something the sports' management should be responsible for? Are 'roids illegal? When did they become illegal? Which "performance enhancing drugs" are *ok* and which aren't.

  • After hearing how many times Rocket's trainer lied to Congress already, why is Roger going to (possibly) be subject to a Congressional inquiry? My bet is that he's a registered Republican.

Long busy week-end

And now we're working 10 hours until further notice at a new Northside ISD High school because of ......the varying priorities....of upper managent (We're way behind schedule, electric wise). Yesterday I put in an 11 hour day.
I'm even pulling wire and connecting lighting. A *very* well paid helper.

Anyway, Here is a belated B-24 Nose Art Week-end via the Pacific theater.

(UPDATE)
A little moode music to take you back:

I'm watching the History channel

Ok, I was watching until they decided to do a 'green' program.
You know,,,,'We're all gonna die' of global warming hype- and the technologies to 'do something' about it.

Because, ya know it's all about mankind ruining the earth, and the sun cycles has absolutely nothing to do with it at all.

Anyway, I'm wondering about all these mega-companies who are getting into the greenhouse gas thing.
- Do they *REALLY* believe that Barbra Steisand? Or are they just playing the game?
I mean, they have to have real scientists working for them telling them the truth, but they also have the PR flacks telling them how to act concerned about some bogus threat.

Where's the justifiable outrage?

Gas prices are heading north again, for no *real* good reason.

On the one side we have our supplies strangled by greenies and their Liberal buddies in Congress. NONE of the Presidential wannabees are even thinking about increasing our output or doing anything about decreasing our dependence on Islamoterrorist suppliers.

On the other side we have oil profiteers who jack the price of oil up every time anything -good or bad- could happen to the supply of oil. If their kid wrecks their month old Porche, up goes the price of crude.

We could go nuke, which would reduce our dependancy on forgien oil, but the Greenies and their Liberal buddies don't want to go there for some reason. Probably because it takes up less space than the miles upon miles of ugly-@ssed white windmills you see on the way into Cali.

A slow day at the Daily Mail

Meet the British version of Jonny Rambo.

For someone who was such a fan of Johnny, you'd think he'd at least have something in his resume about doing time in the military, wouldn't you?

But to his cred, he did spend time in the wilds of the U.K. ummmmmm...........moors learning the skillz that will help him survive if he's ever called to duty in S.E. Asia. AND he is some kind of civilian air warden- so he knows how to improvise all kinds of weapons from aircraft parts.

I wonder if he still lives at home....

Early voting

I need to go to town and get the truck inspected.
I may as well do my early voting thing.

Except that the RNC doesn't give me a choice except McCain or not McCain.

I can cross party lines and vote Dem ( I guess I'd be crossing party lines by voting (Rep, too).

Maybe I'll vote for the Hildabeast just to keep it interesting over there?

Guess what inspired this?

I'll update as I slog through my civic obligation.

(UPDATE #1)
After squeezing as many work miles and tool costs, I went from a $21,000 profit fro a six month stint at Mega-cable company to $14,000 and a $1978 tax bill.

(UPDATE #2)
Anybody have an idea at what I'd be looking at for penalties on $1600 of ummm..... unpaid tax estimates? Are we looking at like 10% or closer to, like a 50% penalty on what I already owe?

Stating the obvious

I've seen this on several blogs today:

Of COURSE the momentum continues to build.

When only half of the states decide who the nominee is going to be for the rest of the country that's all it really can be expected to do.

Thanks RNC for making me one of those disenfranchised voters the Dems like to talk about.
Because you took away any choice I- and the other 24 states had in this election.

A house fire is always a tragedy

It's even worse when it's an apartment buiilding with four families living there.

It's even worse when some basic common sense was ignored.

I know how cold it gets up next to the canadian border.
I also know that you don't use a propane torch to unfreeze water lines.
Yes, plunbers use them, BUT they know what they're doing, and it's only long enough to melt a dab of solder...not to turn ice into water.

What I'm wondering though, is the fact that it got cold enough in that heated appartment to freeze the pipes in the first place.
Is he so poor that he has to shut off his heat when he's not there?
is it an uninsulated spot by the eave? If he could get to it with a torch, why not shove insul;ation in there?

Water freezes at 32 degrees, more less if it's moving.

What I'm wondering (in my anal way) is why it froze in the first place. I'd have to do smething about it,,, just because it could happen.

Yeah, the familt loves the way I think sometimes and the girls will be getting a new shower assy' because the hot water drips (and Thing 2 'can't' turn it off all the way) and I can't get the handle off to change the washer.

Race-baitng hate mongers brought to justice

You know the kind who automatically, and publicly make statements condming people on their race and social standing.

Yeah, well they're getting sued by the Duke La Crosse players for their actions.

The school.
The teachers that couldn't wait to let the ink dry on their condemnation.
The cops

If it were me, I'd try going after the press and Al Sharpton, too.

Couln't happen to a more Liberal and 'caring' bunch of haters.

You may know the we had the dubious honor of having the democrat side of the presidential race here yesterday.
This morning WOAI pulled their noses out of Hils @ss had a Hillaty info update this morning on TV.
After racing to hit hte mute button I noticed that either of my daughters could have made her up better.
And they're both teens, not highly paid camoflage artists.

I am interested in John McCain's new tax policy

His newest one, where he pledges 'no new taxes' to those who actually think they can do anything about the fact that 50% of America decided who the rest will have to live with.
Ohh,,,sorry!

Let start over....
John McCain, who is in a fight for his political life, due to the fact that 24 states didn't already decide who will be the Republican nominee- has pledged that he'll be a conservative and pledge that he'll support a 'No new taxes" adgenda if he makes it to the whitethouse.
Ok, I'd like top believe that....
Now about that pesky McCain/Lieberman bill that wanted to tax every American fifty cents per gallon of fuel for pie-in-the-sky ideas.
Are we sure that's dead?
What about his pledge to never allow us to use our own resources to produce our own energy,,, because of GLOBAL WARMING?
You know, keeping us tie to Baby Huey and the Islamofacsiest who have us over a(n oil) barrel?

It's a frigging stop SIGN

It's not going to turn green no matter HOW long you make me wait on your dumb @ss.

Here are some clues for you.
  1. If you get there first, YOU have the right of way
  2. If you're on the drivers right YOU have the right of way.
  3. Like I said, it's a stop sign- it WON"T turn green on you.
  4. If you (and I behind you) are the only ones near the intersection, a rolling stop will work-even in Selma. You REALLY don't have to come to a full and complete stop until someone gets near the intersection.
Thet's what you get for letting clueless parents gundeck the home Drivers Ed course.
Clueless driver with absolutely no idea about what to do at a four way stop.

Enough said

Eritrea

Eritrea was formerly the northernmost province of Ethiopia and is about the size of Indiana. Much of the country is mountainous.

Total area: 46,842 sq mi (121,320 sq km)

Population (2007 est.): 4,906,585 (growth rate: 2.5%); birth rate: 34.0/1000; infant mortality rate: 45.2/1000; life expectancy: 59.6; density per sq mi: 105

Literacy rate: 59% (2003 est.)

Economic summary: GDP/PPP (2005 est.): $4.471 billion; per capita $1,000.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok. Now that you know what kind of world dominating powerhouse it is, I'll be sending you to this ongoing story about their relations with the U.N. Peacekeepers there.

The same U.N. that Barack Obama wants to send $845 Billion string free tax dollars to.

Welcome back to the 3rd Nose Art week-end of Feb.

Where we start off with another Nose art video tribute to the B-17.

And more B-17's:

Turn here, Dave

Sorry Hal, but that bridge is too low.

TURN Dave!

I can't get under the bridge Hal.

Dave, if you don't turn this truck- I will.

Ok, I don't really know if it happened that way or not, but I'm reading of more and more stories like this one, where people follow a comuterised voice with no forethought.
Ok, to give the driver some slack, I didn't see a height warning on the bridge pictured. But the stories about people turning into rivers and onto railroad tracks is growing.

You'd think that some of these SatNav companies would send people out to survey their directions once in a while, just to try to protect themselves from lawsuits.
I mean GOOGLE, that basion of Liberalism can go against the Goracle to aimlessly waste precious fuel wander around major cities and take pictures for their enhanced mapping system- you'd think that SatNav companies could get their own drones to see if their directions are right.

Just to fend off potential lawsuits from municipalities for damages caused.

But, then again, I guess the rest of the world doesn't have as many trial lawyers wanting a huge piece of the pie and actuaslly holds individuals responsible for their actions.
