Care to look up th...That's not the half of it!

Care to look up the British rocket programme (Black Arrow)? We were “decades ahead” of your programme technologically in the early sixties (and it's arguably a better system, even now). And then ….

Metrication (beginning, fitfully, in 61 and finally imposed by EU fiat in 78) and the complete cancellation of a wildly successful space/satellite programme?!?

So? Not only does Fahrenheit promote space development, but removing Fahrenheit kills rockets! (or it could just be that socialists both like Celsius and hate technology).

Being British and actually reading history is depressing when you see just how much opportunity/expertise/advances has been (deliberately?) squandered by the lefty (Luddite) idiots in power – Sigh! (Black Arrow, TSR2, EM-2, …... - and yes, I do visit The Isle of White and mope!).Ablehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18109723804885979128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8781672.post-54889254473549036892015-12-13T09:02:18.071-06:002015-12-13T09:02:18.071-06:00Nice graphic.
