To all of you old enough

That this is your attitude to Dec. 31-

Co-incidentally, I heard this alot   in NRTC Great Mistakes the next year after this came out.
It was at least a weekly thing when someone got ASMO'd

Happy New year!

BUT- if you're young enough to think next year will be better-
Happy New Year!

Anonymous, who wants users to consider them some kind of Robin Hood

Or E-Ranger righting wrongs in e-space.

This is what you really are:

People these days seem to think we are some sort of Internet vigilante group, That couldn’t be further from the truth. We are the little voice in the back of your head that wants to fuck your hot sixteen year old daughter. We are the father who beats his six year old child simply because he spilled his beer. We are every chef that’s ever spit in some random person’s food for the hell of it. We are the pyromaniac who burns down the homeless shelter for shits and giggles. We are the person who rapes the same girl twice. We are that feeling you get when you beat your pets; and enjoy it. We see some guy hang himself live, we laugh. A wrestler kills his family, we laugh. Some maladjusted Asian shoots up his university, we laugh. Fifty-thousand die in North Korea, we laugh. AIDS ravages a continent, we laugh. An Austrian man locks his daughter in his basement for 24 years and fathers 8 children with her, we laugh. A religion invented by a psychotic writer swindles countless gullible fucktards out of their cash, we laugh, and then go kick his religion’s ass just for the hell of it. We aren’t some vigilante group righting wrongs. We aren’t your friends, your buddies or your saviors. Your feelings mean nothing to us. We are human nature unencumbered by pointless ethics, foolish moralities or arbitrary laws and restrictions. We are every dark impulse you have; unrestrained and fully realized. We are what deep down, you wish you were. We exist as a means for instant gratification, purely at our own whim. We have no culture, we have no laws, written or otherwise. We are an autonomous collective, each an insignificant part of a whole. You cannot assimilate us, we do not change. You cannot defeat us, we do not exist. You cannot infiltrate us, we know our own. We do not sleep, we do not eat and we do not feel remorse. We will tear you apart from outside and in, we have all the time in the world. You operate under the delusion that we will someday be outdated, that we might even see the light. You are irrevocably wrong. You are not special, you are not unique and you aren’t crusaders for justice. You’re a blend of college age faggots who think that they can do some sort of good, and who are desperate to belong, to have attention. You have accomplished nothing, and you will fall. Enjoy your AIDS, faggots.”

Feel free to spread the love, maybe it'll see the light of day on a blog someone actually reads.

I don't know how to title this post

Should I go the Darwin rout?
Or maybe the responsible adult rout?

See, we have a 12 year old girl running around on the highway at 11PM picking up clothes that fell of a roof-rack.
She's dead because she (naturally) got hit by a car doing at least 70.

The article is pretty scant on details, but I'm wondering who was driving, did they speak english, and were they held accountable for letting her run around in traffic?

Remember the Toyota brake "problem"?

That ended up NOT being a Toyota problem, but a driver problem.

Yeah, the problems that lead to a recall to help G.M. sell more cars.
The same G.M. that stole 2/3 of investors worth to pay back 0bamas UAW and wasted $50 Billion of our tax money.

How much do you think you'll hear about the fact that G.M. is now having to recall 4,000 of it's cars because those brains at the UAW were either too pre-occupied with all the UNION supported protests going on, OR too lazy to make sure some BRAKE PADS were where they were supposed to be.

And you probably didn't hear about the steering wheels coming off those Govt. Motors cars, either- did you?

....AND still speaking about your wasted .GOV tax money and the shitter, how about that earth-friendly Hybrid money Obama sent to Finland to help them make money?

Fisker Automotive is recalling all 239 of its 2012 Karma luxury plug-in hybrid cars because of a fire hazard, according to a report filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Prices on the 2012 model start at $103,000, including the destination charge.

Which isn't so bad, I guess...
Fisker said the problem was discovered on Dec. 16, when workers at the Valmet Automotive assembly plant in Finland noticed coolant dripping. Fisker said it was not aware of any consumer complaints, warranty claims or “any other reports related to this condition.” It said fewer than 50 vehicles were in the hands of consumers.

I guess "smug" isn't selling like it used to be.

I just saw something that reminded me of Gov. Romney

And another example of his stellar oversight while controlling the finances of Mass.
No, not Romneycare-

Who here remembers the fiasco that was called "The Big Dig"?

To be fair, he didn't start it, but he didn't change anything on his watch, either.
And don't expect anyone to bring this up until the Republican establishment (and the MSM) make him the nominee, THEN it'll be brought up as another way to take down the Republican candidate...as usual.

Can someone help me out here?

I mean someone much smarter than I am...like a Liberal.

I keep seeing this GlowBull warming crap that you highlight and tell me the world as we know it will end in the next three decades. You know, I've been hearing that since you stopped telling us we were heading for a new ice age.

But -anyway can anyone tell me "WHO" decided that even if we were on the way to sunning ourselves on the new Riviera of the Northwest Passage, that "THIS" was the "right" temperature for Gaia?

Wouldn't the Medieval Warm Period Climate Anomaly work a little better? I mean, if you can grow grapes out doors in Scotland, and the Sahara is a grassland- what's so horrible about that?

Of course we'd all be suffering heat stroke because of all the blackouts caused by 0bamas EPA and their quest for climate 'stability'.

Or maybe the "Little Ice Age" that might be an 'unintended consequence' for this global climate interference that those smarter than us are trying to implement.

Of course if we tip to the cold side, we wouldn't be able to just go back to belching out CO2 and other 'greenhouse gasses'. We'd have to have some hugely expensive .GOV program to rectify that GlowBull climat change- wouldn't we?

So, what did kurt do today?

On his last day of an unpaid week off?

Instead of spending $300 on a $200 rifle, we went $220 on a $350 tattoo.

As I was mentioning me driving big trucks

I just got done changing my oil

I was going to replace my thermostat, too but I need a 13MM deep socket- that I don't have.
While I was doing this, I was wearing shorts.

The reason I mentioned this is that I'm in south Texas and came across this ad in craigslist.

Why should I think this is one of those "Created or saved" jobs we (used to) keep hearing about?

Money talks, doesn't it Mitt?

You're buying all these reliable Establishment Republicans to endorse you (like which other RINO would they back) and getting some kind of Qui-pro-Quo on others that obviously threw in their conservative creds on backing you (right Ann?)

Now he's using his connection in the VA GOP to screw over everyone but his buddy Ron Paul in changing the ballot rules in the middle of the game. They decided that NOW they'd be holding candidates to the standard they never used before this election.

And in yet another reason to NOT vote for Obama lite- Romney has his people in VA forcing any Republican who wants to vote in the primary signing a "Loyalty Oath" to vote for whoever comes out on top of that two person rigged ballot.
Is the ACLU going to jump in here about unrealistic voting requirements?

Kinda reminds you of someone else using scorched earth politics in using his political power to grind over  political problems throw problems under the bus.

F-U Mittens, I'll never vote for you.

I'd like to buy 10,000 marbles please

We all know what comes next, right?

After they turned down the Occutards request to be in the tournament of Roses parade...

Three things to take away from this video

  1. You can't always tell what someone looks like from a voice on the radio. This is the second time I've seen Mark Stein, but have an image of him from Rush's radio that doesn't match the reality.
  2. The only reason RP is ahead in Iowa is that there IS no reason for Ron to be ahead in Iowa- except foe his bots (and probably the Dems own version of Operation Chaos)
  3. The guy who should be in the lead right now isn't even running for President- instead he's being interviewed on talk shows.

Seventy years ago- on this day

December 28, 1941, Rear Admiral Ben Moreell, Chief of the Bureau of Yards and Docks (BUDOCKS), requested specific authority to activate, organize, and man a unique, very special organization that would support the Navy and Marines in remote locations and defend themselves if attacked — the Naval Construction Battalions. On January 5, 1942, he was given that authority and the original Battalions were formed at a new Naval base in Davisville, Rhode Island.

The first naval construction unit to actually deploy from the United States left Davisville, Rhode Island, less than two weeks later on January 17, 1942. It was designated the First Construction Detachment. The 296 men arrived at Bora Bora on February 17, 1942.

On March 5, all Construction Battalion personnel were officially named Seabees by the Navy Department. Admiral Moreell personally furnished them with their motto Construmus Batumius, or We Build, We Fight. A logo, the Fighting Bee, was created by a Rhode Islander at Davisville.
The Navy built their Battalions with experienced, highly skilled craftsmen … electricians, carpenters, plumbers, equipment operators — virtually any construction or building trade was welcome in the Seabees. Seabee units were quickly engaged in construction and combat. By July 1942, the first Naval Construction Battalion landed on Midway Island to begin work on the new airstrip on Sand Island and to start the massive clean up of damage caused by the Japanese bombing.

From the construction and defense of Henderson Field on Guadalcanal to the Normandy Invasion. Seabees participated in every major amphibious assault in World War II. They quickly earned a reputation for exceptional creativity. If materials weren’t available, the Seabees used whatever they could to get the job done.
Building a pipeline out of old 55 Gal drums

More than 325,000 men served with the Seabees in World War II, fighting and building in more than 400 locations before the war's end. They knew more than 60 skilled trades. In addition, nearly 8,000 Civil Engineer Corps officers served with the Seabees

NOTE--My battalion lost almost a quarter of their compliment assaulting Iwo Jima.
What was needed after the successful Marianas campaign was an emergency landing field much closer to the Japanese homeland that would service crippled bombers returning from raids and enable shorter- ranged fighter planes to accompany the giant bombers to their targets. The island chosen for this purpose was Iwo Jima, scene of some of the most savage fighting of the war. On 19 February 1945, the Fifth Amphibious Corps, which included the 133rd Naval Construction Battalion and elements of the 31st Naval Construction Battalion, hit the beaches. During the assault, the 133rd Naval Construction Battalion had the dubious honor of suffering more men killed or wounded than any other Seabee battalion in any previous or subsequent engagement. Although only minor construction was accomplished during the first ten days of the operation, the Seabees later built one crucial emergency landing field and fighter airstrips so desperately needed by the Allies.

The Seabees also played a key role in the last big operation of the island war, the seizure of Okinawa. The main invasion forces landed on Okinawa's west coast Hagushi beaches on Easter Sunday, 1 April 1945. Off the amphibious landing craft and over pontoons placed by the 130th Naval Construction Battalion went the 24th Army Corps and Third Amphibious Corps. Right beside them were the 58th, 71st and 145th Naval Construction Battalions. A few days later, two additional Naval Construction Battalions, the 44th and 130th, landed. The fighting was heavy and prolonged, and organized resistance did not cease until 21 June 1945.

The Seabees' task on Okinawa was truly immense. On this agrarian island, whose physical facilities a fierce bombardment had all but destroyed, they built ocean ports, a grid of roads, bomber and fighter fields, a seaplane base, quonset villages, tank farms, storage dumps, hospitals, and ship repair facilities.

Nearly 55,000 Seabees, organized into four brigades, participated in Okinawa construction operations. By the beginning of August 1945, sufficient facilities, supplies, and manpower were at hand to mount an invasion of the Japanese home islands.

While the Allied forces in the Philippines and on Okinawa were readying themselves for the final battles that would get them to Tokyo and complete the roads to victory, decisive events were taking place elsewhere, on the island of Tinian in the Marianas.

During the summer of 1945, the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) arrived at Tinian from the Naval Weapons Center at Port Chicago, California. Seabees of the Sixth Naval Construction Brigade helped with the unloading of the components of a newly- developed weapon. The Seabees then stored the elements in a shed built by themselves, and organized a detachment to guard the shed and its mysterious contents. Scientists assembled the weapon in the shed with several Seabees assisting as handymen.

If this is true...

Maybe we did put the fear of G-D in them.
(Ok, maybe the frear of re-election...)

A glimmer of "true grit" is emerging in the U.S. Senate, where Republican lawmakers are refusing to adjourn the Senate for the year, because while in session they have the ability to prevent confirmation of Obama appointments.

In doing so, this will 'neutralize' President Obama from making any "recess appointments," thereby thwarting the confirmation process, particularly with the now very controversial National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

The same NRLB who sued Boeing for trying to work with non-union labor.
The same NRLB who wants to shove card-check down companies throats to make it easier for their union thugs to take over right-to-work states.

Didn't we just go through this debt ceiling crap?

If I remember right, it was like 4-6 months ago that President Moneybags got the Republicans to cave on a debt ceiling that was supposed to last until after Nov.2012.

Now he wants even MORE.

WTF???

STOP

SPENDING

MONEY

WE

DON'T

HAVE!

F-cking seriously.
Vote them ALL out!

Now we get a glimpse of the participants

For that USA TODAY/Gallup Poll which put Hillary and King Putt at the top of the most admired.
USA Today doesn't tell who they asked, but looking at the answers let me know it wasn't flyover country.

Judith Hurt, 53, of Willoughby, Ohio, just had fun with the question.
"I'm not into politics so I went with the people I really admire —George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez," she says.
Clooney's sexy smile reminds Hurt of the actor's aunt, Rosemary Clooney who crooned in Hurt's favorite movie, White Christmas.
As for singer Lopez, Hurt says, "She's come so far. She's a mom of twins and she still looks hot!"

Some dooshbag Liberal actor and an unmarried mother who- at least isn't on welfare.

I just realized why the Left

And most Democrats want to help Hamas and the Palestinians.

It's because they help them remember their Democrat roots.

So we went out looking at new sofas today

Because the existing one is broken.
Because 'someone' just has to fall into the thing no matter how much she's told not to. This will be the second thing she's broken buy falling into it.

Anyway, we're looking at sofas -no leather or pleather TYVM because we have dogs, and the only ones I want to afford are either the wrong color or don't feel just right.

So we ended up at the pawn shop I saw those four pump .22s. There are three now, but we found one she could feel comfortable using. It's an off brand called "Permier" that the guy said was sold at retail stores- way back in the day. That is the only thing on it besides the .22 LR-L-Short and the S/N.

According to THR it's either a Savage or a Stevens take-off of a Savage...or a Mossberg. I think it's worth $300- especially if she likes it....and I can shoot it.
We went to my favorite gun shop, and they didn't have anything we were interested in- between Christmas and the two best gun salesmen in modern times they were shy of almost all but the unpopular guns- and on backorder because of nationwide demand.

This woman is evil

She is the one who will be the first second Democrat to send American citizens to detention camps.
She is presiding over what -if it were a Republican administration would have the ACLU and all the other fellow travelers up in arms about the encroachment of the evil NAZI Rethuglicans.

But she's doing it under President Whiteguilt and the Communists of the Democrat party so it's going to be a "happy" oppression.

Oh, puleeeze

Alternate title- GMaFB

We're supposed to believe that MEchelle prayed to get King Putt over to his $4,000,000 Hawaiian vacation before Christmas?

Really?

Who believes that the Slacker in Chief would miss ducking out for two weeks at Christmas the Winter Solstice holiday?

A late Christmas present

Happy Boxing day!

So, we're back?

Blogger and everything (almost) associated with Google is back up?

I wonder if it had anything to do with those assholes calling themselves anonymous and their stealing personal property and identification from honest customers at Stratfor and then 'redistributing' their stolen property to so-called non-profit charities?

It just occurred to me

...Sorry for the semi- blaspheme...

That we know more about the birth of Jesus than we do of the current #Occupy1600Penn.Ave.

Not that they have anything to do with one another.
...Unless you're a TRUE believer...

Merry Christmas!

A special Cristmas song just for Ron Paul

Because we all know how much he loves the Chosen People.

And he and Mittens think they got a Christmas present from the primary in  Va.
But that two candidate ballot might end up being a lump of coal if everyone decides to stay home in droves- because of the non-choice they have.

Stolen from ToM.

Enjoy your Christmas vacation President Everyman

Bought by your 20,000 saved Social Security contributions.
I put two and a half weeks worth in my gas tank Thursday.

And I couldn't even afford this White House CD set for 1/2 a week of SSI contributions:

Stolen from Robert.

So, She and I went shopping today

We got the final things for the Christmas feast tomorrow.

As we were going down the list, toilet paper came up and she asked if we really needed any because we still had two fresh rolls and I told her yes, because two is one- and one is none.

Merry Kissmas

You Jews

I tell ya-

Make a big eight day drawn out thing to light eight candles

When the ONE who can do all can get them all lit two weeks ahead of time.

Who thinks this is not a scam?

I saw this ad for a job replacing electric meters in San Antonio that was promising from $16- $18/hr. so I wrote this:
Subject: FIELD TECHNICIANS Are Needed (san antonio, TX)

Hello,

I might be interested in this position.

I have been a lineman and in charge of a small natural gas department on the coast where I learned the way electric meters work and to read them and use 'Road Runner' data entry.

I am however a bit questioning about the high rate of pay for basically an entry level job.

Thank you for your time.

And that is all I sent.

This is what I got back:

Just out of curiosity, what would something coded like this
(b class="yiv898415703cikoxy")
do if it were hidden in every line of the text?

So, what do you think UBF stands for? YOU BE F-ED?

That's a fine stable of losers you have Mittens

We have Bob Dole who's turn it was to lose to Slick Willey before  President "No new taxes" who lost to President Happy Pants is now endorsing the establishment candidate in his turn to lose to the Democrat.

I see the House Republicans caved on 0bamas economic mirical

I just put a quarter of that two month payroll savings into my S-10 today.
It'll get me about 4 days worth of normal driving.

AND we get to hear it all again in seven and a half weeks.

What a stunning co-incidence

I mean who would have ever seen this coming two months after it became legal for same sex shows of affection?
That we have some good gay picked up for widespread distribution.

So... how many Yeomen sat around for days looking at all the lottery entries to find a couple who weren't two guys and hot?
Just so THAT name could be pulled from a random drawing.

No, there wasn't any pressure from up top to find good gay at all. Gawd really wanted the world to see how PC tolerant the new Navy is.

We've been watching "The Walking Dead"

Whenever they decide they want to put it on....

And Karen mentioned that she'd like to take a stab at a crossbow.
I found one at Academy for a closeout price of $120- plus the cocker.

So, I said lets wait on that, since it'll be used about five times...

I ended up at one of our bigger pawn shops looking at a set of four .22 pumps. Two were Wins, one was a Rem. and the other I thought he said was an Ithica was a Stevens. All were old and dirty and the two I looked at seemed to have not bad action.
Both had rear sites that looked like someone took a chainsaw file to them. Srylsy. I'd say the rounded notch was a good 3/16" wide.
So now I'm looking at aftermarket peep sites.
Is there a "better" way to ad one- either tang mounted or receiver mount?
I'm guessing either one will need to be drilled and tapped.

Wednesday, December 21, 2011

So, the Republican establishment candidate

Refuses- again to call 0bama a Socialist.

Last night on O'Reilly, he refused to call him one- again.
Just like he refused on Hannitiy's show.

Where have we heard this before?
Oh, yeah- just like the LAST Republican LOSER to Obama.

I guess we can hope that at least the next Republican loser won't be calling him 'my frieeeend.'

But hey, at least candidate Good-hair can sik his lackeys on Newt.
Right Ann?
Right Chris?

Crap....

It's only Wednesday....

I realy expect hope to see law enforcement on every continent

come down on these assholes that call themselves anonymous like a ton of broken bricks.

Computer hackers are avenging the Occupy movement by exposing the personal information of police officers who evicted protesters and threatening family-values advocates who led a boycott of an American Muslim television show.
In three Internet postings last week, hackers from the loose online coalition called Anonymous published the email and physical addresses, phone numbers and, in some cases, salary details of thousands of law enforcement officers all over the country.
The hackers said they were retaliating for police violence during evictions of Occupy protest camps in cities around the country, but law enforcement advocates slammed the disclosures as dangerous.

I was going to say something else, but the first commenter at IoTW said it all-

Here's a sample:
Attributed to an old-time computer hacker who was seriously p!ssed-off at “Anonymous”:
“People these days seem to think we are some sort of Internet vigilante group, That couldn’t be further from the truth. We are the little voice in the back of your head that wants to fuck your hot sixteen year old daughter. We are the father who beats his six year old child simply because he spilled his beer. It's good, and truthful- I didn't know where to stop.

Heard between the kitchen and computer table

22 Yr old-"Is there any good milk in the refrigerator?"

Me-"Well, it hasn't got sent to the principles office yet."

Wife-"Yeah, we didn't see it hanging out under the bleachers with that Meuinster cheese."
Me- "I heard that other milk got really chunky before it got taken care of."

Wife-"I heard it was whey gone."

22 Yr old- "You PEOPLE!" *slam* went her bedroom door.

I have to admit that I didn't watch this

Because somehow this just strikes me as akin to the NAZIs singing the Dreidle Song.

Yeah, I know they're trying to cheer people up....

About this racial witch hunt against Eric Holder

Why did it take so long for him to figure it out?
Shouldn't he have recognized it - the whole race baiting thing when it first started?
I'm sure the smartest Negro in the world would have spoken up right away if it was Himself.

But, then again- Eric isn't that smart- is he?

Eric Holder- isn't that a "slave name"? Shouldn't he have renamed himself something like Kyron Da’Shawn to show his African pride, or something.

Gun snobbery and you

Are you a gun snob?
Would you turn your nose up at an Eagle arms AR rifle if you could get an Armalite for only $150 more?
Cheaper than Dirt tells you why you're not getting what you think you're getting.

Stepping into the way-back machine

I wonder if Mittens appreciates Bob Doles' support any more this time than he had for Bobs support of McCain last time.

The McCain he LOST to before McCain LOST to the Lightbringer.

Never- Mittens. I'll leave that part blank while I'm voting for a new Senator.

I'm not as surprised about this as Michael Barone is

Because those DeeCee bureaucrats are mostly Democrat Liberals.

So why would anyone- in this day of hyper-partisan politics be surprised that Democrats would risk fines and imprisonment to help a fellow Democrat look good?

The Carolina Journal, published by the Raleigh-based John Locke Foundation (for which I’ve given paid speeches on occasion) reports that staffers in North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue’s office have been getting advance word on monthly unemployment statistics from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is highly illegal under federal law and violates what I have understood to be a strong tradition in the BLS and other government statistics that no one—no one at all, not even in the White House—gets advanced word ahead of the public announcement of government statistics.

There’s obviously good reason for this: someone with advanced word could place bets in financial and community markets and make lots of money. That’s why Congress provided for penalties of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for early release of this data. And there’s another excellent reason: government statistical agencies should be free of political influence to insure the integrity of the numbers on which many people depend. My understanding is that an important part of the bureaucratic culture of federal statistical agencies is a pride in their independence and integrity; this is something not to be lightly squandered. Maintaining that culture is vital if the government wants to get highly competent people to dedicate their careers to this important work.

Except Michael, THIS white house and the creatures it encourages don't give a shit about anything but advancing their socialist agenda.

Just look at the people that the iWON has surrounded himself with it's affermative action on steroids, with marxist eco-tards as added sprinkles for more diversity.

Meanwhile @#OccupyTahrirSquare

Police and soldiers using batons and teargas drove stone-throwing protesters out of Cairo's Tahrir Square, hub of the uprising that ousted Hosni Mubarak in February, overnight.
Hundreds had returned to the square by morning after security forces retreated behind barricades in streets leading to parliament, the cabinet office and the Interior Ministry.

They would be the 99%ers if they could count that high.

Should we really compare this to those clueless hippies @ #OWS encampments?
Who think they're sticking their necks out for *changeiness*? Daring the cops to use teargas and rubber bullets.

Ban Ki-moon "is highly alarmed by the excessive use of force employed by the security forces against protesters, and calls for the transitional authorities to act with restraint and uphold human rights, including the right to peaceful protest", the U.N. Secretary-General's office said in a statement.
The violence has overshadowed the election that is set to give Islamists the biggest bloc in parliament.
The West, long friendly with Mubarak and other regional strongmen who kept a lid on Islamists, has watched warily as Islamist parties have swept elections in Morocco, Tunisia and now Egypt following this year's Arab uprisings.

So...how's that smart diplomacy working out for *democracy* in the Mid-East, Hil? Barry?

Thanks Apple

I've been thinking about changing my homepage from Yahoo.com...

Now your 1/3 page annoying ad just got me to make my homepage Bing.com.

Who's all behind this surge in support?

Is it 'just' the Mittens campaign?
Or- more likely is it the old guard elite East Coast cocktail party Republicans calling in chits to get this flurry of support for Romneycare?

Because he's the next one who deserves to lose to the Democrats?
Telling us what we need to do because they're up in DEEfriggingCEE and they went to the 'right' universities and never had to meet a budget that really mattered to the end fact that they could lose their house or car if they didn't meet it.

Yeah the Liberal business-as-usual-GOP pushing the one THEY decided they want.

FU!

Ya know, all this pushing against the tide is really pushing me into the Newt column- just because you're trying so hard for Romney.

Now stop trying to force me to eat my spinach!

So, if you're keeping score

In the WON column we have:
WWI
WWII
Grenada

In the LOST column we have:
'Nam (thanks Dems)

And the TIED column is:
Korea (thanks UN)
Kosovo

The reason I left Iraq off for now is that we really don't know what's going to happen over there.
I doubt it'll end up in the WIN column because Barack and the Liberals won't let it. Even if they wanted to- they just ideologically CAN'T let Bush have any credit.
Just look at the spin on this AP piece:

KHABARI CROSSING, Kuwait (AP) — The last U.S. soldiers rolled out of Iraq across the border into neighboring Kuwait at daybreak Sunday, whooping, fist bumping and hugging each other in a burst of joy and relief. Their convoy's exit marked the end of a bitterly divisive war that raged for nearly nine years and left Iraq shattered, with troubling questions lingering over whether the Arab nation will remain a steadfast U.S. ally.
Which is why it's up in the air right now, but my understand in of the muslim thinking is that it'll be aligning with Iran too soon.

...And since we're Libs, we want to make it sound like the country is a wasteland...
Many Iraqis, however, are nervous and uncertain about the future. Their relief at the end of Saddam, who was hanged on the last day of 2006, was tempered by a long and vicious war that was launched to find nonexistent weapons of mass destruction and nearly plunged the nation into full-scale sectarian civil war.

Some criticized the Americans for leaving behind a destroyed country with thousands of widows and orphans, a people deeply divided along sectarian lines and without rebuilding the devastated infrastructure.

Nice spin Yahoo picked for their story.
I REALLY wish we had a search engine with a conservative- or at least neutral- angle on things....

Your feel-good video of the day

Thre's nothing on TeeWee

So I turned it over to BBCA so I could watch the Gay Irishman- since he's at least entertaining- and the TV guid said he had Izzy Izzard on.
I got there and didn't recognize his guests-
I was expecting this Izzy:

But saw this guy

...Ok...yes he's the grown up Izzy.

Money talks

I wonder who much and what other enticements were spread around from the Romney camp to Glen Beck and Ann Coulter to start bashing Newt.
Nikki Haley and now Cristine O'Donnel  are Tea Partiers that back Mitt- because 'he's the only conservative that can win'...or so they've been paid to say.

It's not that you can't look at Newt winning the 44 seats in the House and forcing Clinton to the right. He is the ONLY Republican that has forced a Liberal Democrat President and Congress to balance the budget.

How can Ann or Glen say that

Mitt frikking Romneycare

is the most conservative Republican out there?

Who else that used to be a conservative is getting a gold plated ticket on the Romney bandwagon?
...And how badly will they twist history to bash Newt?

You know, I'm still open on my vote (except for Mittens), but the way things are going on behind closed doors- the more I'm going to vote for Newt to SPITE the RNC. Hear that John Cornyn- you already lost my vote, how many others do you want to lose?
