In theory I understand where these investors are coming from

But in reality, they are so far above my financial reality that I can't feel their pain.

Maybe it's because it's my belief that you should never invest more than you'd be willing/able to lose.
...And because they all seem like greedy snobs with the high dollar stores and private estates fronting (man-made) lakes just east of the Liberal enclave of Austin.
