Now that the frufra-all is over

I want to say something about that Time cover on breastfeeding.
*Go ahead, it's your blog*

You remember the one which launched a thousand parodies.

The thing that brought it up again is the broohahah about the two Air Force chicks breastfeeding in their BDUs (or whatever they're called now) and how uptight prudes (on both sides) are getting their noses out of joint about it.
That really doesn't offend me as much as the Time pic, because:
  • They're in the Air Force (Duh yeah, not like it's a real service)
  • They're  acting motherly to babies
  • The blonde has some nice ones she's airing out.
What got my attention was the Time woman was her entire body speech.
She was out there with there almost 4 yr-old kid STANDING on a chair, while her whole attitude was "Yeah, I'm doing this- what are YOU going to do about it?" "Let me ruin my kid the way I want to while getting Time some badly needed prime time."

So we have one Obababot with an attitude, and two service women in uniform just doing their thing -who got put in a La Leche thing for doing what was natural with their infants.

I'll give the wing-wipers a pass.

So,,,now unilaterally attacking a Mid-east country is ok?

Because it's not BusHitlermcChimpy who has the entire UN behind him?

Or because it's president Kickazz deciding that the US is going in for the election year save.

Why the f*ck isn't the UN doing anything?
They want to control the world.
They want to tax everyone in the first world to death.
They want to control how people think.
They want to control ban civilians from owning firearms ( how'd that work out in Libya and now in Syria?).

Where are the blue Helmets showing they can take care of a shitty piss-ant country before they demand the keys to the world!

Just out of curiosity

Why does Blogger start their calender on a Monday?

Isn't living in America good enough?
But NOoooo, we have to try to be European and show we are the artsy type.

....And speaking of things that don't work, what's wit F/F that it want's to hide the site I'm on so I can't copy it from the address bar anymore?
I tell you Opera is looking better and better- especially the way it loads sooo much faster than the latest and greatest fire Fox 13.whatever/-dot BETA.

No bag for YOU!

Welcome to Liberal Utopia!

Sorry VFW, I think you're wrong

Because you'll only get some kind of half-assed non-apology like 'I'm sorry that some people took what I said in the wrong way'...because you right-wing H8'rs are too stupid to understand the nuances of me saying that I can't call dead military members 'heroes'.

Because that's probably the only time this month that Chris Hayes said something heartfelt in public.

UPDATE -
8:55PM 05-28-12

Unlike the vast majority of the lamestream Media, I don't try to hide when I'm wrong.
But then, I didn't go to J-school and have layers and layers of editorial oversite either...

It looks like Chris Hayes has pretty much, all by himself decided to apologize for  his statements the other day.
It seems to be a real apology and not some sort of non-apology apology that the Left is so used to doling out when they're caught telling the truth.

Breaking news

Update---VERY IMPORTANT---very breaking news--------the unpossible has happened----------------

It looks like the effeminate Justin Bieber has grown a pair and use those sticks he has attached to his shoulders to slap a Paparazzi, or something.

Ooooh. Evil...I'm skared:

Nice pants guy. WTF is hanging out of them by his knee?

A fitting Memorial Day commentary

In theory I understand where these investors are coming from

But in reality, they are so far above my financial reality that I can't feel their pain.

Maybe it's because it's my belief that you should never invest more than you'd be willing/able to lose.
...And because they all seem like greedy snobs with the high dollar stores and private estates fronting (man-made) lakes just east of the Liberal enclave of Austin.

Charlie Daniels she's not

She's as good, just different!
And really refreshing how she so enjoys her music.

You either have the intellectual armor of an Abrams tank, or you'll be on the negative side of the IQ meter from the double whammy of Meggy Mac and Al Sharpton:

The Democrats real war on women

Because some of the biggest sex discrimination against women is from Senate Dems, and the worst offenders are ladies females themselves.

Dian Feinstein pays her female staff $21K less than the males -about 41% difference.
Barbara Boxer, another prominent Lib from Cali pays her female staff  $5000 less per year.

But you won't hear that when they try to push the the "Paycheck Fairness Act" through when Congress returns from break. Besides, it won't affect them anyway- Congress isn't bound by the laws it sets on us peons.

Can you imagine what their ratings would be if

CNN wasn't the default setting on every airport TeeWee and motel lobby in the country?

Kind of like what would 0bamas likeability be if he didn't have the MSM running tongue baths of propaganda about him 24/7?

Hey, if 0bama can use his kids in his re-election campaign- they're fair game!

Just out of curiosity

Do you think America has in it anymore to fight a total war?

I mean balls out and f*ck the civilians to win?

I just watched a (different selection) video over at Sams place about the extermination camps of the Nazis.
Here you go:

In one scene it shows the absolute devastation of carpet bombing cities.
That's what brought up this thought--
Are we to 'civilized' to really bring the hurt to a country that despises us in ordr to win a war?

I'm thinking -not anymore.

Because -
a) People willh8 us
-or b) Zomygawd the work court....

No, we'll never end-up leveling cities again,,,no mater who they are- because the military leadership is to PC to really fight wars.

How's your day so far?

You got breakfast and are sitting there surfing the web, looking for some excitement.

Wanna go for a boat ride?

I know I have Ron Paul supporters here

Personally, as I've said before, I look at him like an even more loose screwed Ross Perot.

I know you don't want to hear anything bad about your version of Barack Obama, but seriously-

Your people are gaming the system to try to force an unwanted candidate on the majority at the RNC by hijacking the delegates.

Is that how you want to win, seriously?
Playing loose with the rules and blowing off the intent of the bylaws?

I didn't want Romney, but I refuse to vote for someone with worse foreign policy than Obama, maybe even more antisemitic than Obama.

Sometimes you get what you wish for- then what are you going to do?

Sad sight on the way home

I don't know the story, but it's dead and bleeding from the mouth.

It also has a red leash on it.

Anyone up for an airshow?

If you're in the San Antonio area this Saturday, the CAF will be hosting one in Hondo starting at 10AM.

The B-17 Bomber Texas Raiders and the Marine B-25 Bomber Devil Dog are the headliners at this year’s Hondo Army Air Field Fly-In, sponsored by the CAF’s Tex Hill Wing, based in Hondo; the City of Hondo and STRA; and Hondo Area Chamber of Commerce.
Other aircraft include types of nearly all aircraft used at the airfield throughout its history, first as the world’s largest
navigation school, and later, during the USAF’s flight screening program. About three dozen aircraft will be on static display at the airport, including rare Warbirds such as several P-51 Mustangs including Miss Marilyn and Glamorous Glennis (formerly owned by the famous test pilot and USAF Gen. Chuck Yeager); a P-63 King Cobra (an F-model so rare it is the only one in the world); a DH-82 Tiger Moth from the 1930s; a Stearman Stamp; several T-6s and L Birds; a
Beechcraft 34A Mentor; SNJ/T-6; SNB/C-45; SNJ and T-6s; PT-19; T-28 Trojan; Fairchild F-24; and a B5N Kate.

In which the author goes Godwin from the start

Where have we heard this before?

Some egotistical arrogant asshole who is head of a cult of personality decides that he and his party need to take over the .GOV because the people are to stupid to make decisions any more.

Then we have break-ins in the leadership offices.

Next will be a fire

Them they'll blame a retard
Then we'll hear about some communications hijacking

Finally we invade a country that has never done anything to us---

Now it's time to suspend the elections, because now is NOT the time to change leaders and miss the continuity of our struggles!

Because I'm a rebel and all...

Romney- the anti-McCain

Srsly?

Many of the current strategy discussions are centered on not falling into the traps McCain did: looking wobbly as a leader and weak on the economy in the final weeks of the campaign. The private discussions include ruling out any vice presidential possibilities who could be seen as even remotely risky or unprepared; wrapping the entire campaign around economic issues, knowing this topic alone will swing undecided voters in the final days; and, slowly but steadily, building up Romney as a safe and competent alternative to President Barack Obama.

McCain, according to Romney advisers, blew it on all three scores. And of the three, the most conscious effort by Romney’s team to do things differently will be in the vice presidential selection process. One Republican official familiar with the campaign’s thinking said it will be designed to produce a pick who is safe and, by design, unexciting — a deliberate anti-Palin. The prized pick, said this official: an “incredibly boring white guy.”
OK...

So we're NOT going to get Alan West, Marco Rubio, Newt....
Hmmm... Oh, no F*ing way am I going to vote for a Romney/Suckabee ticket!

McCain’s effort has had a stylistic influence, too. McCain was spontaneous; Romney is rigid. McCain’s high command was improvisational; Romney’s Boston headquarters is disciplined. “McCain liked operating by the seat of his pants, which worked well for him and the press, but didn’t always work so well for the staff,” said a senior Republican operative close to both campaigns.

Steve Schmidt, a top official on the McCain campaign, acknowledged the need for Romney to do things differently, saying that every major decision in 2008 had been made “through the prism that we were running in the worst political environment any Republican presidential candidate had ever faced — it was just horrific.”

“That drove a culture of risk-taking and animated every aspect of the campaign,” Schmidt recalled. “The Romney campaign is in a totally winnable race, and their actions reflect that. They’re more cautious where we were more elbows-out.”

A 'culture of risk taking??? WTF?? McCain couldn't even STOP calling 0bama "My friend" when he was supposedly badmouthing him.

Jezzus Kerist- you people are pathetic and deserve to lose to that Communist.

~snip~
Fckng srsly-
. But a Republican official familiar with the Romney campaign’s thinking said the vice presidential search will be more rigorous and will likely produce a candidate a lot less flashy than McCain’s running mate, then-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

DOOD- the ONLY reason the 'Maverick John McCain' got the numbers he did was BECAUSE of Sarah Palin.
We are so going to lose this election to a Trotskyite....

The new Meme

The Bowline knot

Pronounced Bo-lin.
It's a handy knot to know if you need to make a loop in the end of a line and still be able to untie it when you're done-

I have to admit that I am not a shipwright

Nor do I have much nautical insights, BUT I do have common sense.
Judging from the pictures I see in this article, those highly educated archeologists didn't have even that.

It took them three months to build what looks like a 25-30' boat from an example dug up somewhere.

Three months to slap some planks together and they didn't even think about pouring pitch on the holes to waterproof it.

So it sank as soon as it hit the water.

Happy Mothers Day....

You two @ssholes at Wal-mart.

Look guy(s)- just because YOU forgot Mothers Day doesn't mean YOU have to run people down with your carts and block an entire aisle looking for something in the next aisle over because YOU didn't bring a list.

Dickheads.

I wonder.....

Naw...those cops are in a union- He wouldn't disarm them...especially the minorities:

We finally see Democrats shying away from their Boy King

This is why can never see me voting for anyone that still has a (D) behind their name.

It took two years of the troika of 0bama, Reid and Pelosi to cram an unpopular and unconstitutional ObamaKare through the Congress.
They did it with tricks, lies, bribes and false accusations against their opponents, not to mention barely legal, and absolutely ammoral procedures to get it passed on a partyline vote.

And no one with a (D) behind their name had a problem with it...until it dawned on them that they had an election in 11 months.

NOW- their Chicago Jeezus has pissed into the faces of mainstream America (Bitter clingers) and the people with a (D) behind their name are only now -because of the election in November- finding they have a problem with their Unicorn Riders finally evolved stance on gay marriage.

Using the Constitution like toilet paper, no problem- BUT we have to convince these shlubs to reelect us one more time before they forget  what we pulled on them with Obamacare.

You need to go "like" this guy

He's one of those guys that if he was a Jew- Liberals would have no problem in saying He's a *self hating Jew*..except that he's black.

And he see's what's behind the curtain.

Something occurred to me just now

I was reading some posts at the Gay Patriot, and the reactions of the true believers.

If Satan was running as a Democrat, he'd still get the Liberal votes. And the Union votes
Even if he were to run as he really looks- red fur, horns and cloven hooves--AND telling everyone that Dante's 'Inferno' was the  new reality if he got elected.

He's still get almost half the votes and the MSM would be right behind him digging for dirt on his opponent...Moses and the years he spent as a 1%-er.

(Besides, he's Jewish, ya know...)

How much did we lose on J.P. Morgan-Chase in the first bail-out?

I'd look it up, but I'm too lazy, I know it was in the tens of BILLION$.

Now, are we going to be on the hook again to do *something* to bail them out of this $2 billion trading loss they gave themselves this month?

Because, just like the first time this is what happed--again:

The bank's strategy was "flawed, complex, poorly reviewed, poorly executed and poorly monitored," Mr. Dimon said Thursday in a hastily arranged conference call with analysts and investors after the stock-market close. He called the mistake "egregious, self-inflicted," and said: "We will admit it, we will fix it and move on," he said.

North?

Anyone know what's going on with North?

Darth Cheney was there years ahead of 0bama

That evil caricature of homophobic hateful Republicans has been on the record as supporting gay marriage since before the 2004 election.
Darth Cheney didn't receive any (positive) MSM coverage of his beliefs eight years before president Gutzy-call got forced into it by Sheriff Joe's gaff.
And now Shep-the-radio-programmer at FoxNewsRadio is forcing me to turn off WOAI twice an hour because his Chocolate Jeezus had to step forward on the gay marriage thing.

Some horses have toys

Some even have their favorite ball.

So do some dogs- but not as cool as Joels.

Towards the end, you can see a slightly annoyed Petunia on her branch.

Unsurprisingly I didn't get an answer

There was an article in the Register-Star about an artist opening some kind of performance art center in Hudson, NY (upstate,,,out in the sticks).

Not just any kind of performance art- this is marathon performance art.

The 65-year-old artist said the institute will be part art center, part school, for ephemera performances involving video, opera, film, music, dance and theater in an environment that erases the boundary between artist and viewer as both don white lab coats and interact constantly.

Due to the marathon nature of the works, tired or sleeping visitors reclining on “durational chairs” will be rolled by an attendant to a sleep area and rolled back when they awake,  all the while remaining a part of the performance piece.

Abramovic is famous for pushing the limits of her physical and mental endurance as a way of expanding her inner-most feelings and fears — and sometimes those of her viewers.

In one of her longest duration pieces, during a retrospective of her career at New York’s Museum of Modern Art in 2010, she sat in silence during the hours the museum was open, making eye contact with members of the public who sat across from her

Not only is she going to force the hicks and anyone else who see her ...art to watch the entire boreing thing, but she's going to teach OTHERS how to do the same thing.

The article doesn't say- and I didn't get any replies to the e-mails I sent about four days ago asking---WHO is paying for this?
From the lack of information, I'm going to assume it's us.

That would be a sure-fire win for 0bama

Putting Mike Suckabee in as his Veep choice, like some are talking about.

However, some Republicans believe Huckabee, as Costa put it, “would help energize tea-party conservatives, evangelicals, and related voters who soured on Romney during the GOP primaries.”

“He’s also not a sweat-inducing pick, since he was vetted by the Beltway press during his presidential run four years ago,” Costa noted
.

Umm- NO.
Since we have to settle for the establishment candidate,  get us a real conservative so we can at least pretend that you'll consider fical responsibility in your plans- mK?

So, where is the UN in all this?

First we had the 'Maverick" John McCain wanting to arm AlQueda (2.0.2) in Syria AKA the rebels.

Now we have the war hero of Viet Nam, Thurston Kerry III wanting to supply rebels with arms AND set up safe zones.

The United States needs to do more to protect civilians in Syria, including considering setting up safe zones inside Syria and potentially arming the opposition, Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman John Kerry (D-MA) told The Cable in an interview Tuesday.
Kerry also warned that if the balance of power is not tilted in Syria in the opposition's favor, it's unlikely that President Bashar al-Assad will step down. A political transition that sees Assad removed from power remains the goal, he said, but the United States must step up its efforts to make that goal a reality.

So, we have all these pro-communists and Liberals who want the UN to take control of ...basically everything- Internet, taxing, redistributing wealth, humanitarian issues...

BUT whenever something comes up that the UN should be doing, it's America that steps in and gets things rolling. I'm surethere are other countries doing the UNs job there, but name one off the top of your head.

All the UN can do is pass decrees and sternly worded letters to the civilized countries (who are paying the bulk of the rent) about made-up problems while cow-towing to Islamic extremists and watching countries tear themselves apart with not even being able to yell "STOP IT!"

OMG- Indiana has elected the Black Adder to run as a Republican

SRSLY- compare this Newsmax pic
 with Edmund Black Adders pic

A different point on that circus in Gitmo

The one you've heard about where the terrorists female lawyer demanded that all females be ...bagged.

Cheryl Bormann, a lawyer for Mr. bin Attash, was dressed in an abaya, a loosefitting garment worn by observant Muslim women, leaving only her face exposed, and suggested that women on the prosecution team follow her example. They should dress modestly "so that our clients are not forced to not look at the prosecution for fear of committing a sin under their faith," Ms. Bormann said.

I guess MZZZ. Bormann, that it never occurred to a LIBERAL Attorney- that YOU as part of the .GOV are now advocating throwing out the First Amendment protections of religion, did it?

Remember what it says?

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

So this government agent is trying to force American citizens to observe the religious dress  customs against their will? That a .GOV functionary is trying to force non moslims to dress like them -to go against their own religious beliefs to accommodate a select religion?

first amendment: an overview

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. See U.S. Const. amend. I. Freedom of expression consists of the rights to freedom of speech, press, assembly and to petition the government for a redress of grievances, and the implied rights of association and belief. The Supreme Court interprets the extent of the protection afforded to these rights. The First Amendment has been interpreted by the Court as applying to the entire federal government even though it is only expressly applicable to Congress. Furthermore, the Court has interpreted, the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment as protecting the rights in the First Amendment from interference by state governments. See U.S. Const. amend. XIV.
Two clauses in the First Amendment guarantee freedom of religion. The establishment clause prohibits the government from passing legislation to establish an official religion or preferring one religion over another.

Balance

Hydrogen floats, too

 So does natural gas..
Apparently they don't believe in using helium in their balloons in Armenia:

Watch the string of white balloons.

The British are NOT amused- Benjamin

Because they still remember back in 1948 when the U.N. gave Israel back to your people- that THEY were the ones who were instrumental in getting the Palestinians (or more accurately historically---the Philistines) to oppose your GOD given right to live in your promised land.

Now you are doing the unthinkable (to western Liberals) and telling your enemies exactly what will happen to them if they try anything stupid.

Because, for Israel it's life and death-for you newsies- it's entertainment, and for you anti-Semite politicians- including 0bama- it's all local politics, and the people of the Arabian peninsula are just numbers that we can distort  like a stretchy from the `80's to fit anything our lapdog MSM wants to make work.

BTW-
Hows that Libya freedom party working out for you, Barry?

Anyone else having slow loading problems?

It's not every site, just some blogs that seem like they're taking forever to load.

I don't know if it's the intratuubz, or something I did to FireFox when I was taking out Ghostery so I could read comments w/o starting Explorer.

Just weird.

Maybe I'll have to uninstall and go to an older version...

UPDATE-
It's loading sooo much faster in FF 8.0.1
I have ghostery and still can't read posts on some blogs unless I turn it off.

That was fast

the results aren't all in yet, but the American socialist is almost as quick to congratulate the French Socialist as he was to disapprove the Constitutional actions of the Honduran government when they exiled their socialist president for subverting their laws.

Brian Terry's relatives still waiting for a call from anyone in this administration..just like the almost 2,000 killed in Afghanistan.

When are we going to hear that this is a mandate?

France elected an outright Socialist today by 51.8% over Sarkozy.

The last time a nation elected a socialist with a 52.9% majority, the press went out of it's way to tell everyone that it was an earthshaking mandate that should never be questioned.

Since I can't find an e-mail

for NavyOne, I'll post this here:

I haven't seen it on twitter yet

But I only became aware of the newest softball lob by the Democrats this morning.

And we'll start in new York City

Specifically we'll give beck the land that the U.N. building is sitting on, ok James Anaya?

So, James (what nationality is Anaya?), we'll just up and give the Indians tracts of land and let them go wild?
Do we teach them to hunt? I know you don't want us to build them power plants and water treatment plants, because that would be too...western.

Anaya said that in nearly two weeks of visiting Indian reservations, indigenous communities in Alaska and Hawaii, and Native Americans now living in cities, he encountered people who suffered a history of dispossession of their lands and resources, the breakdown of their societies and "numerous instances of outright brutality, all grounded on racial discrimination".
"It's a racial discrimination that they feel is both systemic and also specific instances of ongoing discrimination that is felt at the individual level," he said.
Anaya said racism extended from the broad relationship between federal or state governments and tribes down to local issues such as education.

"For example, with the treatment of children in schools both by their peers and by teachers as well as the educational system itself; the way native Americans and indigenous peoples are reflected in the school curriculum and teaching," he said.

Two weeks of boondoggle, looking for the worst examples you could find?

If you want an even wider spread and more drastic example of discrimination and dispossession- why not look at all the non-muslims suffering under the thumb of Islam?

Puppy progress

We've got him on a feeding schedule that stops the food at about 4:30 and basically no water after 6 or 7 at night, then he's tied to the front door with a 6' leash.

So far that problem has been fixed.

He's starting to learn that he's supposed to ...something outside, but I still don't trust him where I can't see him.
This morning he peed ON the couch,,, as in he was on the couch and peed on the back cushions. He got his nose rubbed in that warm pee and thrown out the door. (yes, I know it doesn't work- BUT- it made me feel better)

He may have been exited because grand-daughter was over and he hadn't seen her in a week.
He's still dribbling without either of us knowing until I step in cold pee.

The cats are starting to get used to him, except for that puppy exuberance.

UPDATE-
5:12PM

That f*cking pissnozzle just let go right behind me!
So I just got done rubbing his nose in the warm piss and threw him out the door.

Anyone want an untrainable dog?

UPDATE THE SECOND-
7:25PM
That's the fourth time today that little f*cker has pissed in my house, this time it was three feet away from the last time.

Good morning people!

If you think your day is going to kind-of suck-
Try taking care of a monkey in China.

Not that we should be really surprised, because that's what the MSM does to the White House anyway...

UPDATE-
I see that fubared schedule thing got me too.

As I surf the net, I have the TeeWee on as background noise

About the only thing worth having on is the "Top 100 Gadgets that changed the world".

I'm sitting here and trying to (sort-of) ignore the dog leashed to the door-next-to-the-computer-table when I heard that #??? is the laptop, because 50% of all emergency response vehicles in Xxxx are required to be equipped with a wireless laptop.

Um, yeah- and 90% of all First Responders are equipped with smartphones ---with a direct link to You-tube.

42 years ago, the tale of the tape

Which the Liberal news media twisted for their anti-American purposes into innocent hippies being gunned down in cold blood by the Nat`l Guard.

A couple points about this video

First you'll notice the title of the toob-
Because, you know the cops weren't there for any specific reason except to stir up trouble.

Second-
This is the most violent and vandal friendly of all the (mostly peaceful) Occutard movements.

So feel free to laugh at the rage karma when all of a sudden- private property rights top private property destruction-

We all know how much 0bama loves Israel

So with the news that he's deployed a squadron of F-22s to the UAE, does anyone think that they're there for some kind of blocking force against Israel?

That he wouldn't order our pilots to shoot down the Israeli Air Force planes that tried to stop Irans nuke plans?

That is a $2720 sweater?

At least they could have made the sleeves long enough to reach the wrist.
But, then again, I'm no high dollar fashion disaster..

I also know that when you want to reduce the size of something, you don't put white bellbottoms on it.

What does Nancy Pelosi have to say about domestic terrorists?

You know- Anarchists, arsonists, rapists, bridge bombers....

Bloomberg, Mittens? Really?

Conservatives are still questioning you less than stellar concept of less government, individual responsibility, and the Second Amendment.
