Da dash don't be silent

The teacher was asking
"La A?"
"LaAh?"
"Lah ah?"
"LaAA?"

And the mother replied "It's Ladasha the dash don't be silent."

Now the NYT or at least one of it's writers is getting tired of those made up names, too.
